Lea Rig in Glasgow City

What a lovely wee pub this the staff are a lovely bunch of people made us feel welcome From the moment we went in too the moment we left and what a great Saturday night we had be sure too say we will be visiting again for another fantastic night

There aren’t many pubs I feel obliged to review but the Lea Rig was one. I can confidently state the Lea is the finest pub in Glasgow. Great lager, great chat, and a pool table to die for. Five Andies out of five.

Just had a beer and a nice chat with a couple of friendly locals. Will be back!

Lovely staff in a really well kept, traditional Scottish pub! One of the best I've been in.

On a midweek afternoon there aren’t many bars with any kind of atmosphere but the Lea Rig was awash with local artisans enjoying an ale or three. A juke box was an unexpected treat and they have horses on tv and a pool table to keep you occupied in quiet moments. Bar staff cheery and full of good chat. It’s a workers bar but well kept and well recommended.

The best wee pub with the best team in the east end. Just had my partners surprise 40th birthday party and Mags was brilliant with setting up etc 🙏 Girls behind the bar were amazing aswell… just good vibes and atmosphere all round thanks v much 🙌🙌💙

Great traditional Glasgow pub in the middle of Trendy Dennistoun. Fantastic Karaoke on a Sunday night with The Beautiful Michelle. Friendly punters and the bar staff are all lovely ladies who will serve you quickly regardless of how busy it is. Suitable for all ages. If you're visiting Scotland pop in for a slice of the real Glasgow , you might even get a slice of Mary's cake. Just bring your drinking trousers 👖👍🏻

Wasn't drinking just went into see my daughter in law(she works here) but had lemonade n lime great atmosphere and friendly faces great service.

We didn't have food just drinks and how am l now only finding out there's a quiz every Friday 😀🤣😆

Auld boys pub, always fairly lively. Cheap, quick, does pints....what more you want from it.

Cracking night, beers, pool and Champions league on TV. Girls serving were really nice and friendly (Nicole & Mitsi). Good crowd, a real mixed bag which added to the atmosphere. First visit but won't be the last. Tennent's Lager on draft.

Met some friends here had a brilliant time ...wee game bingo...raffle and watched some really good singers with karaoke 😁 this family pub is spotless and we'll tended bar...the staff are quick and have great banter ... people were friendly I loved it😁

We went back to The Lea Rig after my mums funeral & the girls were amazing so welcoming & really helpful the food they did for us was amazing. They made the hardest day of our life’s that little bit easier. So thank you so much from Danny Danielle & the family ❤️

Fantastic staff very helpful knew I was deaf n provided me with a charger so I could use the Google.maps.to get the rest of the way home as I got lost in the area haha

This pub is tiny inside but it makes up for that because of the manageress and her staff. We went for a funeral tea and the food was great. Beautiful home made soup. The girls serving us were absolutely delightful.

This is a tidy wee pub. Staff very friendly. Even gave out free hotdogs during the football and it was England playing. Haha !

Staying in the local area and the people who run the pub and drink regularly have made us feel really welcome. To the point where we've felt really overwhelmed by it, this wouldn't happen where we live that's for sure! Staff will do everything within their power to make you feel welcome, come here if you want to truly experience Glasgow.

I found this gem of a pub, clean friendly and great service, I live in the West End and I've never been to the East end. What an eye opener, a real genuine friendly welcome, chatty customers and I even got fed for free! Forget the overrated and overpriced west end and take a visit to the Lea Rig. First class and thanks for a great afternoon.
