Little French gem without all the pretentious side you often find in Chelsea or Marylebone bistros. Love to have this near my home to feel like I am in Paris for a meal. It offers some of the French classics like the escargots, duck confit and others.

The food took us back to our time in Southern France. We enjoyed our duck confit, coq au vin blanc, and our lavender-laced drinks (both alcoholic and non alcoholic). The food was so good that we absolutely had to order dessert and had an excellent lemon dessert as well as the pictured chocolate one. We will be back, especially in colder weather for the cassoulet.

Went for dinner here and it was fantastic, the confit duck was outstanding, so tender and flavourful with crispy skin. Ratotouille was stellar too, as was the garlic bread starter, and the environment in the restaurant was great too convivial and friendly and we were really digging the retro French pop that was being played

I had not been before and found it easy to book online and booked mid-week lunch with a friend. Arrived and shown a table near the window and enjoyed reading the menu. Unfortunately we did not have a great experience: we both found the special starter of the day almost impossible to eat: lots of large pieces of bitter curly lettuce and teeth-breaking croutons and rock hard lardons served with a poached egg which should have been soft boiled, but was hard. Our main courses of cod, and hake were perfect and delicious, as were the deserts (lemon pudding and rum baba). The atmosphere was spoilt by a large and noisy group of work colleagues who had obviously pre-booked and were seated nearby after we had already started our meal (otherwise we would have sat elsewhere) and which made it very difficult for us to have a pleasant conversation. I am sorry to say I will not hurry back after spending over £100 on food and sparkling water.

Cannot recommend this wonderful restaurant enough. From the moment you’re welcomed by the friendly and helpful staff, to the moment your brilliantly cooked food arrives it feels like you are in the heart of France. Topped off with a great wine list. The only difficulty I had was choosing what to eat! Ah well, even more of an excuse to be back very soon…

A joint Birthday, Father's Day Celebration lunch for a total of 8 family members and there partners. Handled really well on a very busy Sunday lunch day. Heartily recommend it for other gatherings of that size as food was delicious we went for a la carte. Definitely good value. Thanks to the team!

An ok brasserie- nothing more. Small menu and wine list. Rather slow service. The food quality is average (fries very salty!). If the place is crowdy it gets very loud: not for a romantic dinner!

Great food and wine in a relaxed atmosphere. Party of three with a nice table by the window. We tried the wine of the month which was very good for a good price. We had the goat cheese soufflé and the anchovy tartinette, both were excellent. Two orders of the duck confit (wonderful) and a sea bass (very good). For dessert we had the chocolate pot de crème that was fantastic. Service was very attentive. Was a great night.

Sois leur invité l! How refreshing to walk into a restaurant for the first time and be greeted like regulars! No rather dear old friends from days gone by. But wait is this Shepherd's Bush or gayee Paree? The staff, service, décor and cuisine have the charm of Paris bistro right here in our neighborhood! No Eurostar needed! Unbelievably friendly staff, I mean each and everyone - sincerely nice people who enjoy themselves looking after their customers. It shows! Food is classic no nonsense French delights! Nothing is seasoned or cooked to less than perfection! We honestly didn't want to leave - hence many after dinner drinks! We've already booked a return which is our goto when we find somewhere exceptional. V&G

Nice place, food pretty good. We had the chicken and the lamb rump special which had good flavours but needed a bit more sauce.

Decor very French, feels like being in Paris, even the staff uniform consists of the striped blue and white T shirt. Now for the serious question, the food? To die for. I've been twice so can only comment on the burger with roquefort cheese. (can choose comte instead if you don't like blue cheese) I had not eaten a burger in over 10yrs but after trying theirs, I'm hooked and crave it now and then, fresh top quality beef, fresh condiments, the bun too and that does matter as well. I expect next time I'll order the burger again, it's that good. Friendly but professional staff, highly recommend, also has outside seating for spring and summer. Gin with Cassis and Lavender was perfect blend and cheaper than a glass of wine in the pub.

A special meal out: friendly and efficient service from the whole team, a lovely choice of drinks, and delicious, well-cooked food. Highlights were the duck fat popcorn; the courgette, pea, and basil soup; and the salt cod gratin. Highly recommended.

We ate here early evening. The decor in the restaurant is nice We were asked if we wanted water for the table either still, sparkling or tap. We opted for still water. We shared a bottle of Chardonnay. We then shared a baguette with butter and tapanade and some olives. We had to ask the waiter for a side plate as we weren't given one We both had duck accompanied with gratin dauphinois, leek and prunes. We both enjoyed the duck and potatoes. I didn't particularly enjoy the leek, prune accompaniments My husband had a cheese board for dessert. He was disappointed with this. The roquefort was nice, the soft cheese was ok, the hard cheese was dry and tasteless . Also personally he would have preferred biscuits/crackers with the cheese rather than baguette slices, which he found a bit heavy. Also he wasn't given any cutlery for this and as there wasn't a member of staff available at the time we just took a knife off the next empty table. The bill was £117.39. The water was £6.50 Wine £30 Bread £4.95 Olives £4.95 Main course £22.50 Cheese board £12.95 There is a discretionary service charge of 12.5% which came to £13.04. Personally I would prefer to decide myself how much I should leave as a tip but we'd had a long day travelling and decided to just pay it.

We chose Le Petit Citron for a birthday celebration and having not been there for almost a year, were completely bowled over by the sumptuous quality of the dishes, their presentation and the 'à la française' ambience. The Coq au Vin had THE best gravy reduction we've tasted, and the generous basket of French fries was an awesome, delicious addition. And the Creme Brulée made that wonderful sound (you know the one!) which noted its authenticity, and the silky smooth vanilla interior was delightful. Loved it! Looking forward to our next visit! Bravo!

Stunning place and excellent service but unfortunately the food was lacking in taste and quality. Steak was too soft and sinewy, green beens dressing was also too subtle. I like stronger flavours and unfortunately this food needed a lot of seasoningnincluding the chickpea fries and french fries despite these two being cooked well. I really wanted to love this place but the food really needs improving.

Bring my friend from Cyprus to have lunch today. Grateful that he likes it very much.

The food was good, but a little too expensive compared to other restaurants. An absolute no-go, however, was the waitress wiping something off the floor with her bare hands and then continuing to serve drinks without washing her hands.

This restaurant is among the finest in the area. The food was outstanding, perfect blend of flavors and exceptional product quality. Gianna was incredibly sweet and knowledgeable, her service was beyond excellent, easily a 20 out of 10. I’m looking forward to returning soon! 😘

Delightful bistro with welcoming ambience. Roquefort burger was solid choice and great list of starters. The standout was the Rum Baba dessert, the best I've had. Generous cake doused in rum and more than a ration of whipped cream! Need to visit again to try more of classic mains.

Discovered Le Petit Citron while walking from the car to Westfield. Happy find! Will take my French friends here, let's see what they think. Very pleasant team too. They were about to close the kitchen before 4pm, but they fit me in as I was starving. Merci, will be back 😃 My second visit in March '24 was also good - I had dinner with two friends & we all chose the set menu, which we liked. The only puzzling thing was the inexperienced waiter that initially served us - when we asked him if they served beer on tap, he said he didn't know & just stood there. When we told him he needed to go & find out, he finally snapped out of it & got his manager. Just a training fail, it will defo not put us off 😎 Another waiter took over & all smooth sailing from there - we particularly appreciated not being hassled for more orders when we'd finished dessert & being left alone to chat until we were ready to leave. Thanks, PC team!

Beautiful vibe and atmosphere. Was brought by a French friend, and I guess he does know his stuff! Stunning creme brûlée and tender chicken. Wouldn’t miss out on the fries too- thin and crisp and certainly generous with portion size. Looking forward to trying more dishes there in the future.

Absolutely love this place. Perfect for a Saturday morning brunch. The food is delicious, and the staff are always so lovely and welcoming. This place is excellent for a date, or just a meal by yourself, and the atmosphere is always warm.

The aperitif cocktail was lukewarm. The "250-gram steak" was at most 150 grams and was taste-wise rather mediocre. The fish soup was bland and completely unsalted. Even after adding salt, it wasn't particularly good. The portions are quite small and for that, expensive. The service is unenthusiastic to bored. However, the Chardonnay was good.

We had a beautiful meal at the petit citron. I went for the confit duck and my wife had the scallops, both were delicious. The staff were attentive and very professional. I'll definitely consider coming back for a special occasion.

Food was very good and the hostess/manager was very kind and welcoming as well as was the lovely waiter serving the drinks. However when I was paying the bill the waitress said are you not going to add a tip? And I pointed out there was already a 12.5% service charge added to which she then stated that's just for service and when I said I didn't want to add an additional tip we got a quite rude exchange. It's a shame as this just left a bitter taste to what was a pleasant meal and we were both in shock to how rude she was.

Didn't actually have anything to eat but the atmosphere was nice.

It's honestly a pleasure to come here for a meal. Food and drink always delicious and friendly, attentive service. And you don't pay over the odds as you do in so many London restaurants these days.

A really nice local French bistro - the food is excellent and a good take on Franglais cooking. Prices are quite in line with quality. Where I would expect better is with the service, the waiter was quite junior and didn't know the status of the peche du jour, and struggled to understand the order, and being able to communicate the menu. This let down the overall experience.

We enjoyed an excellent dinner on a recent Friday evening. As always, the food was superb and the service was excellent. This restaurant has a lovely French ambience and it's always a pleasure to eat there. We ate fish soup with all the trimmings and trout rillettes for starters. For mains we had a generous portion of perfectly cooked sea bass with a saffron sauce and a steak, with a walnut salad and green beans as sides. We shared a delicious raspberry frangipane tart for dessert. A perfect meal and evening!

I came to Le Petit Citron based on a negative review. I read that the fish soup tasted of licorice. That statement indicated that the food appeared authentic French and off I went. The restaurant is cozy and traditional. I sat near the window which had a curtain that can be deployed for privacy. The soup was great and the duck confit was bar none. Unique using red cabbage! I haven’t seen that with this dish. Service was attentive but not intrusive. I came during lunch so the restaurant was not crowded. The female wait staff was friendly. Overall I was not disappointed. I only have 1 gripe, the wine glass is tiny. For someone who ordered a bottle of wine perhaps the glass can be a bit larger. That is for the owner to mull over. I will still be back and try other dishes on the menu. PS. They have WiFi.

Probablement le pire restaurant français que j’ai pu faire. Ici presque rien n’est maison, frites surgelées, sauce très liquide sans gout. Gratin dauphinois sans sel ni poivre, etc Bref, si vous voulez de la cuisine française de qualité ce n’est pas l’endroit. N’est meme pas au niveau d’un flunch en France c’est pour dire… Peut etre serait il temps pour le « chef » d’ouvrir des livres de cuisine française et d’apprendre les bases…

What a lovely place to celebrate my birthday last week. Staff are extremely pleasant and accommodating. Food was delicious, especially the chips and steak. Service a tiny bit slow with drinks but I forgive as the staff are lovely. Will definitely come back again when I am in London.

Cute and nicely decorated French place near to Goldhawk or Hammersmith Station. The service can be quicker given that there weren't full when we were there. The escargot are yum and they serve massive fries 😋

Being a bit of a Francophile we love this place, the food is excellent, the staff are brilliant and the ambience is perfect for a French meal in London. I highly recommend the Sea bass and also the Socca, both are delicious 😋
