Le Pan Quotidien in City of London, Westminster

Waited for ages to be seated even though there were lots of empty tables. Waited a long time after ordering for water and wine to be served. Will not come back….

Staying near by..we found this fabulous bakery/cafe. French style bakery offering lovely breakfasts at really good value. We opted for set style O.J coffee.. boiled egg breads and a pastry. Great service and a really good vibe. Definitely recommend

The worst service ever, food cold, extra charge of one piece of bread didn’t ordered, tasteless coffee taste like poorly quality

Lovely little coffee shop near Pudding Lane. Coffee and cake for us which was fab. Staff were really friendly and helpful. A nice haven on a cold day. Definitely one to visit.

Had planned to go to Cote (next door) but it was closed. Chanced this place and loved the layout of the building. The brunch was very good and it was there that I had the best latte of my few day trip in London

Es un agradable lugar para bunchear. Los panes son lo mas! Es especial para desayunar o merendar. En general la atención es buena, no mas que eso.

Went here for breakfast, the food was delicious and there were lots of healthy options but the service really let it down. The waiters / waitresses were very preoccupied in their own conversations. It wasn’t that busy but food took a long time, and so did drinks including just tap water. But like i said, when the food came it was lovely.

We stopped here for a quick cup of tea but couldn’t resist the spiced apple juice and one of the amazing cake choices! Lovely relaxing atmosphere, quick and friendly service and great value for money - especially in Covent Garden Highly recommend a stop here!

Bij Le Pan Quotidien kan je prima lunchen voor niet al teveel geld. Ze hebben ook een aantal vegetarische en veganistische opties, dus voor ieder wat wils.

Il locale è molto carino, particolare e di stile francese! Dovrebbe essere una catena.... Io ho mangiato cappuccino che nn era un granché mentre il cornetto molto buono anche se pieno di burro! I miei amici hanno apprezzato le uova strapazzate con salmone o prosciutto! A disposizione dei clienti marmellate e cioccolata...prezzo un po’ caro ma va bene così...

Not that great like NYC brand. Even the bakery. Nice friendly staff around. Nice open sandwiches with fresh ingredients.

Stopped in for a pot of tea around 08.30 Saturday morning. Staff inattentive, too busy chatting amongst themselves. Drank first cup of tea. OK. When I poured the milk the second time I noticed the jug was absolutely filthy inside. I called the waitress to point it out and her reply was "it's not my fault, I don't do the washing up". She offered me more tea but I couldn't run the risk of more filth. Bad service, dirty tables and chairs, disgusting crockery. Awful.

I met a colleague for a quick, light lunch at Le Pan Quotidian, opposite Nelson Mandela's statue on the South Bank, Royal Festival Hall, on a hot and sunny day last week. I have enjoyed good breakfast and lunch at this and other outlets (Borough Market and Kings Rd) many times before. Sadly this visit has made me hesitate in going back or recommending: it wasn't the food, but the service that caused my disappointment. We had a great outside table, in the shade - it wasn't that busy at 12.30 on 1st August. We had to ask twice for a menu and then had two dropped on the table, from a height, without a word or any eye-contact. The food, avocado and smoked salmon tartine, was good as ever but we had to ask, twice again, for coffee and then it didn't arrive for ten minutes and so we had to ask a third time. I can forgive slow service at busy times, but there were two waiters serving the outside tables and most people were taking their time eating do it wasn't rapid turnaround. A disappointment for sure, especially as not a single apology was made!

Coffee and pastry was ok, but service was slow and bad. We needed to get up and pay since they didnt make eye contact for 20 minutes.

Went here on a Saturday lunch hour Friendly service, interesting menu and thoroughly enjoyed my omelette! My only criticism was the tiny uncomfortable wooden chairs, really uncomfortable which made me speed up my lunch and didn’t really enjoy the whole experience.

Excelente quality products with not high prices. Perfect quality price. Recommended in all London. The space is gorgeous and the ambient is just wonderful.

I came here to have breakfast with my colleagues. I tried the other L P Q in Wan Chai, but honestly I don’t think this one is the same level. I ordered a Soy milk cappuccino, and the milk was not available. the cup they serve the cappuccino is actually a bowl, not very pratical. i asked for my chocolate croissant warm, and they bring me a small, dryed, burned croissant. Not sure if was just unlucky that day or if is always like this but for sure my opinion can’t be positive.

Great spot for brunch and we do like coming here.

Produtos de muita qualidade e variados. Desde ovos mexidos, a scones e a brunch completo tem de tudo. Apesar de caro, recomendo.

Un caffè dal sapore discutibile ti viene servito in una tazzina senza manico e ti ritrovi a bere del sake come un cinese. Ho ordinato un double eggs, ma 2 uova e 5 pezzetti di pane col burro per £6 mi sembra un esagerazione, allora ho ordinato anche un croissant ham and cheese con tanto di contorno di insalata per la modica cifra di £5(un semplice cornetto £5!!!) sperando che almeno questo mi sazziasse in qualche modo, ma nulla, cornetto minuscolo e insalata con un quarto di pomodoro, 3 fette di cetriolo e messa foglia, lasciamo stare.

Con un modesto preavviso telefonico, in soli 30 minuti, sono riusciti ad accogliere il nostro gruppo di 28 persone...

Un'ottima soluzione per un pasto veloce, curato e dal buon aspetto. Abbastanza scelta ,piacevole presenza di frutta fresca ed un buonissimo cappuccino e croissant.Prezzi contenuti.

Paramos para un café rápido y poco para comer. Camarera ocupados pero muy educado. Buena comida, aunque caro para lo que era (Londres) los precios. La comida estaba buena y volvería si viaja. Mi única queja es como el café en una taza o tazón...

Vine aquí por mí para el té y un (enorme! ) bollo. era muy sabrosa y el servicio era amable. Sin duda pop por cuando estoy de vuelta en la zona con algo de tiempo para matar o con un amigo para tomar un café.

Very tasty food, selection if open sandwiches or bread rolls. Lots of choice and the place was busy, a bit pricey fir 2 sandwiches, small cake and 2 small beers £40+ however it was very delicious.

La verdad es que en el lugar no se come mal y las comidas son naturales. No es un lugar económico pero dentro de lo caro de Londres se puede comer. los platos son buenos y no muy abundantes. Prefiero otras opciones en la zona.

Organizzare una cena in 27 persone con preavviso di 30 minuti non è facile ma lo staff del ristorante di Covent Garden è riuscito nell'impresa. Ci siamo accomodati al primo piano divisi in più piani. Un ragazzo di Barcellona, un ragazzo di Bari, una ragazza di Bergamo ed il prezioso Victor si sono presi cura di noi con professionalità e concordialità hanno accolto e gestito le nostre richieste ed il nostro entusiasmo. Tutti siamo rimasti contenti del cibo. Ottimo il brasato alla birra. Raccomando il locale per il cibo e per l'accoglienza.

En este caso fui al de Coven Garden donde hay muchas opciones para comer en un antiguo mercado donde también hay locales varios. En este lugar hay mucha variedad en camisas a buenos precios y se comparte la mesa larga con otros comensales.

Fui a varios Le Pain Quotidien y es mas o menos lo mismo. La comida es rica, se nota que los productos son buenos. Pagás por la calidad y no cantidad. Es para ir a merendar, descansar un poco de pasear por la ciudad o un almuerzo liviano.

Hay muchos en Londres y es un valor seguro para comer correctamente, comida rica y en un entorno agradable.

Used to come here regularly but as tables are more tightly packed than ever, no longer keen as there's not a lot of space. Waiting staff take too long to take orders and only certain people can take orders which is highly annoying- it's 'headless chicken scenario'. If you are in a hurry wouldn't bother as food is average and be prepared to wait!

I have been here twice and had two different experiences. Neither bad. First was pretty good if not a tad on the expensive side. And second visit was good but food wasn't hot and the service wasn't as good. I'd recommend a visit and hopefully it was just a one off.

A birthday breakfast with my work colleague and we were looking for a place close to the office that wouldnt break the bank - Fitzrovia may be one of the most delicious places in London but its definitely not the cheapest!So Le Pan on the corner of Tottenham Court Road and Goodge Street was our choice and on the whole we were not disappointed.We sat at the large central table in the bright and cheerful dining area, sharing the table with a group of Spanish mums eating egg white scrambled eggs and their fairly bored (but extremely well behaved) children.We chose their BOULANGERS PETIT DEJEUNER at £7.45: homemade west country cheddar & mustard scone, organic scrambled eggs, crispy prosciutto, slow roasted tomato.Hmm - honestly? - the scrambled eggs were fairly tasteless and the scattering of chives would have been nicer if finely chopped, the tomato was hot but never 'slowly roasted', the prosciutto was crispy and gorgeous, the scone had been over (re)heated so had gone overly crispy on the outside though remained tasty after we had asked for some butter to spread it with.We also ordered iced mocha, which was a little bit bitter.Now, this all makes it sound like it was not a nice experience - but it was! We enjoyed the food overall and spent a very pleasant hour with lovely staff in a very nice environment and we were not rushed.But, I would say to Le Pan - don't big up the food and then not deliver. I know I could have had a sausage bap in Pret and it would have definitely been far more packed with flavour. So, I would say its a lovely place to hang out in, with free wifi as well, but don't make it the main point of your day.PS - as ever the choice on pricing that Trip Advisor provide is not distinctive enough - I have said mid price but it all depends on what you order - price of coffee is reasonable enough for it to be in the lower bracket for instance.

I only came back because the food tastes delicious (that's why they got 1 star) and I keep hoping they will improve.I ordered eggs/mushrooms and a pot of coffee, the breakfast took ages and when it came I had still not got any coffee. The toast, eggs and mushrooms were all cold, they tasted good though and by now I just thought I would eat it, coffee when it arrived was delicious.Good idea to include service charge as no one would get a tip.Final point, it was LESS than half full, your service staff badly let down your chefs!Won't be going back again, too many other good choices at Westfield.

The service was friendly but the food took time to arrive and the veg were not cookedproperly. Overall, I would give it a 5 out of 10 for this visit.Have been to others and it depends on which one you go to and the time of day as to whether or not you get a good service. It is a chain so it can be hit and miss.

I love this place and I use to go here when I have someone visiting me in London. It is a nice restaurant with different shops in London. It is perfect for breakfast or for lunch, it serves healthy food.

Was in London for three breakfast. At here each day. The food is organically sourced. Their breads and pastries are very good. I had baked eggs with chorizo one day very good. The second day I had soft boiled eggs. The third day I had a belgian waffle. Fresh bread came with each dish besides the waffle, Service was good given the time constraints of train travelers. I'd be happy to go back

I tried Le pan in various locations in town, and I must say that it wasn't the best, I think it's way overpriced for what you are getting. they are labeling themselves as "organic" therefore prices relatively high and I must say anything I tasted wasn't super delicious, it was good, don't get me wrong, but wasnt value for money in my personal opinion.

I will find any excuse to go to Le Pan Quotidien, my favourite being the one in Wimbledon Village. The food is always fresh, seasonal and organic and I feel so virtuous after eating there that sometimes I just have to treat myself to a fresh fruit tart or one of their decadent chocolate tarts.They have a lovely selection of freshly baked breads, pastries, cookies, tea and coffee all to take away and you can even buy some jams and spreads to treat yourself at home.If you are on your own, sit at the long communal table and enjoying sharing good food with others around you.

Wir haben im Le Pan Quotidien in Covent Garden gegessen. Mussten lange auf die Bedienung warten. Ein kleiner Burger mit Aioli, dazu einen kleinen Salat fast ohne Dressing und eine Limonade für umgerechnet 18,40€ fand ich sehr überteuert.Wir gehen dort nicht mehr hin...

We have eaten at Le Pain Quotidien several times all in which were different cities! We love this restaurant. With the soft wooden tables and the smell of freshly baked bread, this place feels very welcoming no matter what city you're in. The service is wonderful in all of the Le Pain Quotidiens. The restaurant's bread is out of this world! They have many different lemonades such as mint lemonade, blueberry, or just regular! If you like bread and a comforting feeling, you are in for a real treat!

We have been to the South Bank Le Pan on several occasions but have only had coffee and cake. After a very long day at Alexander Palace, we really didn't want a heavy meal, so we decided try a light supper. Unconventionally we had gin and tonics with our meal which was really good and well deserved! I had a spinach and cheese tart which came with a large green salad.The food was of excellent quality and the service was friendly and swift.

We ate at Covent Garden--cramped and quaint, and at Notting Hill. And at Westfields. Also one across from St. Paul's we did not try. Menu is consistent, and we like the country inn feel. Have not been disappointed at any. Again, when you are tired of pubs, try Le Pan.

The coffee's great, the bread ('Le Pain'!) is fresh and great, and the breakfast staples prepared sufficiently differently to traditional British 'full English' to feel exotic ! And in the right Pain Quotidien, you run into the most interesting people too ! (that bit I should keep to myself for the time being ! ... but it was fun !)

This chain of upscale, healthy light food and unhealthy coffee shop/patisserie options, is a consistently good choice for 1,2 or family. It is always crowded because the food is good, freshly prepared and flavorful. They are all over including California so you know what to expect. You cannot go wrong for a lighter type quick fare.

I'm concerned about their hygiene - not very clean and the kitchen smell terrible in the summer!! Food was ok

Le Pain never disappoints in our opinion as it's perfect for a quick bit, coffee, breakfast and lunch; maybe not somewhere we'd choose for dinner. Usually very good, friendly and efficient service, and so, great if out shopping, pre- theatre, movies, and for catch up with friends etc. Highly recommend. Excellent value too.

When I met a friend for a light lunch in this bistro/cafe, we found ourselves a nice, quiet table tucked away from other people.The menu is interesting; the portions smaller than I expected; the breads different to other restaurants and the small bakery adjacent to the restaurant has some yummy looking cakes and pastries. The service is very sweet but distracted but once the place becomes busy, it is hard to catch the waiter or waitresses' eye until you have made several attempts by flapping your arms about; the food is fine and nicely presented, BUT, the most irritating aspect of this place is that they allow their clientele to receive and make telephone calls. By 1 pm, we were surrounded by ladies and gents who bellowed into constantly ringing phones. Even a gentle finger to the lips when we caught the eye of one gent who was shouting very loudly, didn't have any effect. It was, without doubt, the most annoying experience sitting through chirruping/chiming/ringing phones and bellowing people.If you are quite happy with this sort of distraction then this is a good place to have a coffee and a piece of cake with a friend but not if you intend to have a catch up conversation. If it isn't blowing a gale, then I would suggest sitting outside as being the best option. All it takes is a discreet word by the staff in the ear of the phone users, to make them consider other diners in the place.

It is the only chain of pancake restaurants I know of in London. This makes it a perfect place for the Pancake Day but also for a quick snack - there are limited seats inside but if you choose to take away, you can either get the pancake in a box or in a cone, to eat on the go. The fillings are quite diverse, but almost all sweet options contain nutella (which I personally don't like). I can definitely recommend the salmon and soft cheese option - although a bit more pricey that the others, it is absolutely delicious!
