Le Pain Du Jour in City of London, Westminster

A sign saying they have moved but not telling me where to! Can anyone help! Great little place with reasonably priced baguettes, an easy lunch go to most days!

Estuvimos parando en un hotel local con limitadas opciones de desayuno (y caro) y este lugar fue recomendado. Fue genial, la comida era muy buena entre nosotros teníamos los huevos bacon y salchichas sarny y el desayuno inglés tanto de que venía con una taza de té, todo para bien de £7:50! ! . La mejor recomendación que te puedo dar es que volvimos a la mañana siguiente.

El personal es amable y atento. El menú es variado y una buena relación calidad-precio. Me senté en el patio bien decoradas. Me trajeron mi comida y bebida para mí. El bocadillo de bacon fue, sin lugar a dudas, el mejor que he tenido en años. Un oasis en el barullo de Strutton Row.

Desayuné en Le Pain Du jour con mi familia. Buena variedad de baguettes frescas. Las baguettes no sólo llena en el lado pero están bien lleno con todos los sentidos. . Hay una buena selección de vegetariano y opciones vegetarianas. El personal era muy amable.

i tend to come here for a quick and cheap sandwich, way better than pret and eat options in flavour and price wise.

Had lunch 3 times in 1 week so good each time staff are lovely and friendly so much choice and cheap prices please go

Really good quality food and lots of it and even though it's London the prices are so cheep. Take the bread pudding it's immense !!

Excellent very fresh baguettes (and panini and other things), huge selection of fillings, interesting cakes, charmingly friendly and efficient service, great value, especially for Central London, including loyalty scheme. The queues can be long, not surprisingly, but move quickly.

Great food at reasonable prices. They even do sandwiches to your own specification!! Would recommend all the time.

Since my last review Le pain du jour is just as good if not a little better with new baguette fillings like roast pork and apple sauce to ciabattas to boor stop bread for lovely sandwiches there ever expanding menu still keeps the high standards of quality fillings and prices are amazingly low keep it up guys

Se tarda genio real que sirven una amplia variedad de buenas" pasteles baguettes interesantes, sopas, patatas, etc, que es excelente.

Not only is the food good and cheap, the standard of service doesn't slip when it's incredibly busy (which is most days). An absolutely lovely bunch serving great food!

Strutton Ground is always busy feeding the area, but this does stand out due to the selection of sandwiches and a plethora of sausage rollsIf you order your sandwich warm at peak, be prepared to wait for it, the ingredients feel cheap

Pain du jour is not all that different from 2 or 3 other sandwich shops on Strutton, except that the prices are good, the food is lovely, and the staff are the nicest bunch you'll find with a loyal group of customers who come back time after time.

My wife and I came in here just as it was about to close yesterday but we were invited in and told to relax and take our time. We ordered a mug of cappuccino and a white coffee plus a raspberry and rubarb slice. The coffee was really great quality as was the slice - and all of this for just £4.50 eat in which is incredible value. I would come here for lunch no question - loads of baguettes and the jacket potatoes are so cheap at about £2.30 for one with beans to eat in.

I am in here now. Baguettes with all sorts of fillings plus tea = €2.10. Breakfasts £4.95.Unbelievably cheap for the area and freshly made. Friendly staff and quick service. Jolly good.

There are three pretty similar sandwich shops all on the same side of strutton. Of the three, Pain du Jour is the best! Cheaper than the other two, the sandwiches are better made than one (about the same a Styles, but half the price!). The staff are friendly and efficient - I'm usually in an out in 2 minutes. If you want something freshly made it takes about 5.

I often come here for lunch the baguettes are fresh and the fillings gorgeous there must be nearly 30 different types to choose from so sorts me out for the mouth The staff are always happy and chatty fresh soup jacket potatoes and more this revue has made me hungry I am of for a baguette

A visit to London yo see Billy Elliot. We stayed in z great hotel and snacked in several places... this was a real treat! The staff were wonderful... the food so well prepared and unbelievable value! The new owners are proud to have taken over a great little cafe and are determined to keep the same value but improve the decor. I look forward to my next visit!

This place is great for a sausage or bacon baguette toasted; this place does a good deal on sausage or bacon before 11.30, there is also a good selection of baguettes for vegetarians compared to some of the bakery’s in the area.
