Sunday dinner came hot and loads of it , customer service was the best I've had in years. After I missed a message sent stating they had ran out of large pots the staff came after hours and delivered 2 regular size (huge) in their own time. Brilliant place

Waited 2 hours 40 minutes for a delivery, the shop then rang me to say it’s going to be another 40 minutes. All for a Sunday lunch which they pre prepare a lot of to begin with. They have tried to blame this on increased traffic lights within the town but this is not the case. This is a case of of taking too many orders for the drivers/resource they have available…GREED! Never again!!!

Ordered online chicken dinner and gammon dinner. Put in the notes to have no vegetables on the chicken dinner. Took 2 hours for food to come and the chicken dinner had all the vegetables on it so couldn’t eat the dinner and went straight in the bin. Absolutely furious will not be ordering again

Helen the girl with the red hair we asked for a full English and all she did was huff and puff and questioning why did I want a full English at that time of the day her attitude is absolutely disgusting I will not be coming back and warning everyone about this place she needs the sack !

Got toad in the hole and homemade chips delivered today and my goodness it was amazing. Was restaurant quality delivered to my door still hot and everything was cooked perfectly. Food took about an hour and a half to be delivered but to their credit I received a phone call of apology and was told the food was on its way which helped a lot. 10/10 would recommend again.

Without question or hesitation THE BEST Sunday dinner I’ve ever had! WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW! Actually blown away by how good it was. I honestly thought when my fiancé suggested it that it would be soggy, poor quality vegetables & fairly average. I could not have been more misguided if I tried! We got 7 different types of vegetables, a massive mound of creamy mash, a beautifully cooked dumpling which was tasty & packed with flavour, lovely rich mince & the gravy was absolutely out of this world and extra pork scratching which I’m pretty sure weren’t part of the dish but a lovely little bonus! Every single bite was an absolute taste fest - the only disappointing part was when I finished it and there was none left! Absolutely puts places like Toby Carvery to shame, the meal felt like it was personally cooked for me, completely head and shoulders above your standard mass produced dinner from a chain. The delivery time was quick & the portion size was absolutely monstrous! I’m a personal trainer who trains hard throughout the week, running, weights, yoga, swimming - my appetite is huge & even I had to have a mini break in the middle of it before tackling round 2 & finishing it off. What I like about it most is it’s a takeaway you feel absolutely zero shame in polishing off in its entirety, unlike a pizza, kebab or fish & chips it’s got so much goodness on the plate you can tuck in to your hearts content! I’m not a big fan of cabbage if I’m honest & I’d probably pass on turnip if given the opportunity but because it was there, with the gravy and everything else packed together it was lush! You could tell the vegetables were decent quality and not the usual low cost frozen crap you get elsewhere, they were soft enough to eat without too much obstruction but just enough crunch to not be soggy. Ah man this is what proper good home cooked comfort food is my friends. My fiancé was absolutely blown away with the taste of the vegetarian loaf. Being vegetarian and lactose intolerant it usually means she is very very limited in choices, when we’ve had Chinese from local places the vegetables have been very very poor and clearly frozen but she came close to finishing the entirety of hers & that pretty much never happens! 1000% would recommend 15/10 & straight into top spot in my black book of decent bait houses! I know what I’m doing each Sunday from now on! Thanks lazy days - unreal food, unreal service, challenge now is to maintain that standard & also definitely getting cake next time, it it’s half as good as the dinners I’ll probably buy shares in the shop 🤣

Ordered 2 Sunday lunches to pick up.I ordered mince and dumplings with all the veg.My husband ordered roast beef with all the veg.The dinner was amazing and plenty of it.Will definitely order again.Spot on.

Went today with my daughter for breakfast as she thinks they are great. Asked at the till if I could just have the yolk of my egg as I hate even having egg white on my plate the woman who was cooking said yes you can, apparently she only eats the white so she always separates hers. That was a brilliant start. When the food came it looked fantastic everything cooked properly and the fried bread was to die for. There’s only so much you can say about a breakfast but this was perfection on a plate. Best breakfast I’ve ever had.

From coffee, food and dessert they served everything perfectly with happy faces and conversations. All food was beautiful, can't wait to take kids back to child friendly place

3 of us ate here on Sat 13th July. On sitting down, the cakes on show looked fantastic and that's where it ended. We ordered 3 soups and thought after that we would have the cake and coffee after the soup. We ordered and paid at the same time for the soup and then waited, and waited and waited. Other customers came and went and we were still waiting and waiting. 40 mins later the soup came, no flavour, a watery plate of barley & carrots. The weird thing was that none of the soups looked the same although we ordered the same soup. Some bowls had carrot in the soup and some almost none. Bread was served with the soup and butter, we had to butter the bread with the back of our spoons as no knifes were given to us. All 3 of us left our soup half way through and left. Bland and no taste. Had we not paid up front, we would have left. Will not return.

Best home made food you can ever get , will defo be going back , value for money if not more , very good portion sizes , lovely staff , the food is so yummy , please visit you won’t be disappointed

TRY THE CARAMAC MILKSHAKE Honestly it is the best it tastes just like caramac it has caramac pieces on the top alongside whipped cream

I wanted to try this place as a cheaper alternative to their neighbour Dolly Dimples but I guess you get what you pay for. I specified a time for delivery as 330pm but it arrived a whole hour early so just as well I was home. First issue was they delivered someone else’s order (which upon opening looked a mess). The lady came back to swap the orders yet when I opened the bag my order was still wrong ; missing an item. As messenger got no response I phoned and spoke to a very stroppy girl on the phone. I nearly said ‘look you made the mistake at the shop not me’ but didn’t. I did get a lovely lady call me back though apologising as it was busy and they’d pop in two free cakes, which is fine as people do make mistakes and I quickly received my missing item and two free biscuits (not cakes that I was informed I’d get) but I understand. However, the food was awful (except desserts) and I had no intention of contacting them again especially as the poor delivery girl had been to my house disrupting me three times already. The sandwich was bone dry and unbuttered on a very dry cheap bun. The filling was tasteless compared to the same sandwich on plessey road. The quiche was a very tiny slice and I was unwell afterwards. It was dry, rubbery and mealy. Not worth the money. I could have a full quiche for that at Morrison’s next door. The jacket potato meal was stone cold and seemed scooped of the potato insides to put the filling in as it was all skin and filling only which was really really odd. Also everything tasted very ‘mustardy’.. maybe a knife had been used for different things? It was revolting. The cakes were delicious though except the free biscuits which were rock hard. I just threw them in the bin. Probably why they were free? All in all, despite one lady calling me to apologise and being really nice on the phone and two free but awful biscuits to try to remedy my inconvenience, their excuse of it’s busy etc and the poor quality cold food still stands. Sorry. Disappointed. Back to Dolly’s for me I’m afraid but will buy their cakes again.

went there today just for a cake and a coffee very nice good price clean and tidy and the food was good what more can you ask for

A big thank you to Russell & Deb for putting us a Sunday lunch to take away. Every thing was nice and fresh. And a big bonus for me was mash potato you just normally get boiled spuds any where else. Would definitely go back 👍

Fancied a full English so gave this place a try service couldn't complain just a few niggles in the meal tho. Sausage bacon and egg cook perfectly even fried bread was nice but the hash browns was very greasy and the black pudding wasn't cooked properly and the mushroims spurted with oil when cut apart from that not bad tho would go back to try something else

The food is out of this world I would recommend this place staff are lovely and nothing is a bother it gets really busy so at times. There my be a little Waite but well worth it and it’s now open Sundays

What a gem this place is. A smart-looking cafe, two generous meals and mugs of tea for a tenner. Fantastic!

Ordered 3 traditional breakfasts with cups of tea. Absolutely amazing, and the cup of tea was very strong - just the way I like it. Ordered an orea crazyshake after and had to share with my mam as it was far too big for one person but I persevered!

We often eat out and have tried various cafe’s/ restaurants in Blyth and Northumberland, decided we would try Lazy Dayz, What a treat absolutely delicious had the chicken on flat bread with home cooked chips and savoury rice, fantastic value for money!!! Great food, Lovely Atmosphere, Great Staff, will definitely be back can’t wait to try the waffles and crazy shakes! Well done

Popped in for a sandwich and one pf those amazing freakshakes. I chose black forest gateau and my sister chose cookie dough cheesecake. I also had a hot beef sandwich as clearly a huge milkshake with cake on top isn't quite enough for me Loved the milkshakes- there's a massive variety to choose from and they are really filling and tasty. Sandwich was good and came swiftly. Service was swift and pleasant. The one small grumble i'd have we're sticky tables- those milkshakes are messy! Regular table wiping would bring this one to 5 stars for me- delicious food
