Laylow in Kensington and Chelsea

Unbelievably rude staff. I’ve never experienced such awful hospitality in all of my life. I went for drinks with some old friends, beginning if the night was so so. Overpriced drinks, ended up spending silly amounts on lacklustre cocktails. Ended up going to the party downstairs. Everyone was smoking cigarettes and doing drugs openly inside of the venue. Extremely snotty and pretentious staff. Manager has a horribly inflated ego. I would seriously avoid this place at all costs.

So Overpriced! Just had dinner, was looking forward to going and I feel like I’ve been fleeced. £160 for two people, shared a starter and had two main courses, a bottle of wine and a gin and tonic that’s it. Portions were small. Food was ok, place looks good. I live in Chelsea and eat out a lot but these were ridiculous prices. Real shame as it does have a good vibe!

In agreement with other reviews, the drinks are overpriced. The cocktails are good, but just not worth the price. We went dancing. There was an older dj. Hard to read the scene or figure the music. It just wasn't great fun. It looks good inside, maybe will try a different night.

Over-priced, snotty, rude staff, terrible food.Looks fairly nice but that's where it ends, must be one of the worst places in London.

stopped by Saturday afternoon for a couple of vodkas with my cousin, later in shock to discover we had been charged £27.60 for each round, £13.80 a drink....had lunch at The Pav down the road later for less than that. At least Dick Turpin wore a mask!

Members club in Notting Hill and you don’t have a single bottle of red in the entire venue. Service was also slow and slack. Disappointing

We went there for a best friend 50th and the atmosphere and service was amazing. It was a surprise that we had to share all our main's but it we actually really enjoyed it being able to try every dish. Definitely recommend it whether it's for a large gathering or something intimate .

Two double rum & cokes that were not measured and very short, more like singles, and charged £27.60 shocking...

Had dinner for a friend’s birthday last night. Really nice food and wait staff. Possibly the best whisky sour I’ve had. We then had a booking downstairs, but despite spending more than £1,000 on drinks and a group dinner, they wouldn’t take our coats. My wife and I ended up carrying a pile of coats up and down, through levels, and past chairs as staff fobbed us off to their colleagues. This is despite there being a coat room upstairs and another section for coats in the restaurant—where eventually a manager begrudgingly hung the coats. Really weird way to impact the guest experience. …the whisky sours in the restaurant prevented a 1-star review.

Bought tickets for £10 to attend an event. Arrived at 11pm to find out the event had been cancelled/ended early despite 2am end time. Initially offered to go upstairs but later declined due to “members only”. Pretentious, will certainly never return.

Check your receipts.. !! Bar staff. Caught.!! Pouring one small bottle of Ginger beer into 2 glasses. Full of ice. Pretended it was 2 drinks @£9.20 !! I reported him to the management .. then rectified the complaint.,- I see by other reviews, not a one off. being over charged.( or ripped off) is standard by the reports.

Attended a birthday lunch and no roast dinners available, how can they advertise it on their website and only serve a very limited brunch menu, Charging over the odds for simple things, I would have been happy to go out but the ingredients bring it back and let them cook it for us. Music was best thing about the place and we were all so hungry leaving there I would not return

Very over priced and disappointingly NO ROASTS AVAILABLE on a Sunday…???!!!! Only thing good was the caviar and DJ playing vinyl! Felt ripped off! It’s the ex local authority pub opposite the estate so seems strange charging Mayfair prices!!!! Our group spent £1000 for a menu that didn’t exist !!! MASSIVELY OVER PRICED!!!! The waiter did end up having to give us some complimentary stuff as there was a mix up with being over charged with extra bottles of Prosecco and unexplained food on final bill! Nice concept but very very expensive!

Just a brilliant night - wonderful food served by gorgeously friendly people! We were lucky enough to go on a night when the amazing Alfreda was doing a headline gig so we headed downstairs to the club/bar. What luck! She was incredible.

Stormzy, Rihanna and Mick Jagger. All regulars at this West London members club. So riddle me this- why does Laylow's  exterior look like an abandoned pub? Patronising service. Everywhere you look there's a lifeless girl with a clipboard. "This is a private party." Managed to blag way into a fashion event. Full of has beens, smoking indoors, and no sign of a curfew. Better than Soho House, and has good burrata, but lacklustre apart from that.

One of the few places that actually lives up the hype. Great food and friendly service. Left the party afterwards before things got out of hand. Certainly a place for trendy / pretty young things.
