The pies were soggy and not a lot of meat mash was average, and the liquor was Luke warm. Would I go back? Definitely not.

Pies could do with a little more beef stock and seasoning but that's a personal choice. For a new joint it's kinda busy and to be expected. Kids eat free! And the pastry could be cooked a tad longer at a lower temperature and a little thicker. But for the price service is quick and liquor is bang on could do with a little more fish stock but hard to please the bland pallet.Nonetheless I will be returning.

I have just eaten a takeaway from here as I work local. There was no deduction on price because it was a takeaway. Shop looks nice but the Pie, Mash and Liquor was awful. Basically it was tasteless and the pies must have been the smallest pies I have ever seen in a P&M; shop. The stuff they are serving is not proper London pie and mash; "twist or not" as their website suggests! I grew up on Cookes and Robins in the East End. . In future I will go to Robins in Basildon Market and I apologise to Robins that I went elsewhere today.

Great space and fun looking quirky decor. Menu is varied and interesting. However, I chose the Bang Bang cauliflower, with noodles and vegetables. Didn’t have any “Bang” to it really, nothing like Wag
