Great food batter could be more crispy but apart from that, good

Sooooo soooo bad I ordered a pizza well it came like a slice of toast I’m disgusted

so sad. last time they were spot on. I know it gets busy on a Saturday but this was different. not to mention no gps. it doesn't take 20 mins from the chippy to my address. I think he was doing multiple drops but can't prove it. it's a shame but this was bad.

Lots of cheese on the cheesy chips as they actually should be and real chips not fries! Curry sauce was so flavourful. Asked for vinegar sachets separate as I don’t like it but my friend does and they put some salt and pepper in little pots, was very happy! Made a great first impression so I would definitely order again 👏🏼

The portiln size for the fish was terrible. We ordered a large and it was not. We have orderd here before so we are aware of the aize difference from this chippy. The chips were cold and the fish was not fresh. We also got the wrong order.

I was visiting my friend in rugby today. Really fancied a fish and chips meal.My friend recommended Lawford chippy all i can say best cod I have had in a while.

Took over an hour to deliver basic ready to be packed food. Chicken was so dry and tasted like fish. 👎🏼

didn't receive the double cheese burger we ordered and gave us 3 lots of chips when we only order 2 other than that it was nice

Nice crispy fish and mouth watering chicken sheesh. This new management is really taking food game seriously. I am from Leicester here just for the fish.

Food was never delivered, no refund was offered and the employee on the phone lied repeatedly about the whereabouts of the order, making false promises as to how long it would be.

Mush peas were like water and chips had lots of bad bits in and fish was overcooked, batter not crispy at all. Will not be going back.

Fish tasted horrible, like the batter was made with way too much flour and wasn't crispy at all. Chips were OK. Onion rings were cold. Wouldn't order again.

The food is delicious and service is great! Our pitta bread didn’t arrive and they very quickly and kindly delivered a new one within 10/15 minutes. I would highly recommend them and will definitely be using them again in the future

1st order with Lawford Chippy. Chips tasted like they were cooked in oil that was old. Kebab was great quantity wise but not much sauce and hardly any salad. Online ordering is confusing, 1st choice salad, 2nd choice sauces, 3rd choice naan bread or some sauces or salad ??? Where’s Pitta bread ? I live halfway between this chippy and Wolston chippy, Wolston chippy is miles better…

Think I ordered at the wrong time delivery was late but put that down to the school run chips were lovely but chicken was to dry

The whole process was bad from order to delivery twice they called to ask my address I ordered at 9pm ish didn’t receive it till gone 10.30pm and when food FINALLY made it the chips were cold and the battered sausage definitely wasn’t fresh 👎

Awful experience. Ordered a small fish and chips (in a meal), jumbo sausage, small chips and a kebab. After an hour and 45 mins the food eventually turns up, with no chips. None at all. Not ordering from here again. Ever.

Charged for large portions when asking for small portions. Didn't realise at the time. Long waits for any menu item not in the warmer. Kebab meat had large quantities of white gristle, more than I've found in kebab ever so maybe it was a poorer batch perhaps? Prices are similar to other places. Overall, it was alright, but I'm in no rush to head back. Community pages indicate locals mostly enjoy this chippy, so it might have just been my bad luck this time.

first time in ordering ...food come on time and was hot :) ordered special kebab lamb/chicken/donor where nice ... unfortunately chips where pony needed another 5 mins in the fryer all hard and chewy

our first order and we most certainly were not disappointed. Ample portion sizes, crispy batter on both the fish and sausages and tasty curry sauce.

didn't recieve the whole order. missing saveloys and haddock and refused to refund. very unhappy

had to give them another go the cod great, this time I had the right meal, extra chips as an apology and a drink too, thanks

the quality of what I recwive was good BUT I ordered a large cod meal which is advertised as coming with chips and a curry sauce........ NO CHIPS, no option to call the shop, only option is to request a refund of the whole item which is unfair when I got most of the order ......

Not one to write reviews, but this is my new local chippy that I go to..as I find the food very well also very well priced. I had a mixed kebab today and highly rated

salad is lettuce and onion...(wheres the red cabbage, tomatoes and cucumber) chicken poppers are slimy inside, so nobody wanted to eat them. chips tasted bland. only decent part was the naan bread used for the kebab. probably the worst takeaway I've ever had
