Lavish has a lovely restaurant . The beers are small bottles so u get through them pretty quick so could be costly. We had ribeye steak which was a decent portion. Steak was cooked to how I liked it . The side portion of mushrooms however were very dry so didn't really compliment the steak too well .

The food is so delicious it looks unreal. And service is very fast we didn’t wait long even it was busy. Highly recommended who loves tasty food !

My daughter and I went to lavish for her birthday. We had a wonderful time, greeted by the most charming man who then served us a really fabulous meal. The creed beetroot for a starter was divine and daughter’s goats cheese was not only generous but tasty and beautifully presented. I followed with chicken teryakiwhich was again superb and she had another chicken dish. We both had a while wine spritzer as we were driving. All in all a wonderful meal, superb service and amazing surroundings. You will see us again. Thank you

Just delicious everything the reviews promised. The staff were so polite and fun, and the food just fabulous, the bread was the best bread I have had at any restaurant. Everything was perfect.

I have been here once before for a works Christmas do and the service and food were excellent we were a group of about 20 people. Came today for my birthday with husband and son, every dish we had was good quality ingredients, good portion sizes and delicious. Staff are very nice and service is prompt. I was even given a complimentary cheese cake with a sparkler and dry ice. Lovely food and service, we want to make a monthly visit

We went there to celebrate my birthday. Friendly welcome, food was delicious and service was good without being over bearing. We were given a cimllumentary Lkmincelli abd a chicolate mousse dessert with firery candle and sraff sung happy birthday which rounded off the night.

We arrived for lunch and were quite taken aback that the restaurant was empty. We expected then that despite the lovely decor the food probably wasn't up to much. How wrong we were! The wait staff were very friendly and not too overbearing when we were eating. The food was outstanding. Best meal out I have had in a long time. There isn't a kids menu but they were very accommodating. We want to return but probably for dinner as we would like to experience it with a busier atmosphere.

We were 3 ordered 3 starters, 3 main and 3 desserts. One of the Starter was not even average. 2 small tiny mushrooms with a big basket of bread was given as a starter. Other started were just ok. All main dishes were around average cheep restaurant food. Nothing special. However the price was too overpriced for such an average dishes. The restaurant was too noisy, and it was hard to hear each other. The echoes and the crowd was too much. The dessert was better than started and main dishes. We will not go back

Although food was very nice, the overall experience made me not want to go back, we booked for 20 of us for a 40th birthday, wasn’t told when booking that would be a set menu for a large group this was only mentioned when I questioned the menu at the table, as 2 of the people with us had chosen there meals on the normal menu as one of them has Crohn’s disease and other a stoma bag so limited to what they could eat. When I asked about this I was told I’m sorry this is the menu for large group, had I known this when booking I would have chose somewhere else to eat, also wasn’t told about the service charge of £93 bringing our total bill to £822 plus we had already paid £200 deposit to secure the booking when spending £1022 I would have expected a bit more decorum when it came to the choices and maybe given a option of something else

We went to Lavish while in Stevenage for a 90th Birthday party... We had looked online for a place for dinner and after looking at a couple of the usual drunk pictures of menus online (why people do that...) We went to Lavish by mistake since it was a lot more expensive than I like.... but we were there so we were committed.. The food for the most part was very good. The army of serving staff provide adequate service. The atmosphere is very good aside from being seated in front of the band and not being able to have a conversation. The disappointing thing is the incredibly poor value for money and the tiny portions. My wife and my Aunt had a couple of appetizers, while I had a meal. My wife had scallops of which there were 2 1/2 of them for £11 I had the Mixed Sheesh for £21 The food was not hot and while the chicken was dry the lamb was very good But for £21 it was a snack and not a meal .. To spend £85 for 4 appetizers 1 cold and medicre main and 3 drinks...

What an absolutely wonderful place this was! The staff were lovely and the food was truly delicious. I had their Duck, and it was cooked to perfection. The food was hot, and the atmosphere was lively. The volume of music could have been slightly lower in order to have a conversation, but this is a young persons venue and my friends and I are (to put it politely) slightly older! However, next time I'm in Stevenage, I will most certainly eat here again.

Lavish is a lovely restaurant, beautifully furnished with space between tables so that you can have a private conversation. The food was delicious, full of flavour and nicely presented as were the cocktails. The portions are fairly large here and Lavish thoughtfully provided a container to take home the leftovers. They’re far too tasty to leave behind. The waiter was helpful and attentive without being intrusive. As it was my daughter’s 21st birthday the restaurant very kindly presented her with one of their delicious crème brûlée desserts which was a lovely thought. All in all a very enjoyable evening. I’m planning on coming back soon with a large group of friends as I know they will love this restaurant. Would highly recommend Lavish. You won’t be disappointed.

Lovely ambience, quiet when we arrived but quite buzzing when we left. Saturday lunch, two courses with some wine £85. Initially starters choices appeared relatively expensive compared to local casual dining chain restaurants, but the portions were very good value and very tasty. There was a wide selection of mains which seemed more reasonably priced, and easy to substitute rice for chips. The mains we chose were elevated versions of kebabs, chicken and lamb. They were beautifully presented and were exceptionally good value compared to other local comparisons. The staff were attentive and there were many to support the number of diners while we were there. We didn’t have time to stay for dessert so I cannot comment on these. (I guess I’ll have to go back again to try them out!)

There is no better restaurant in Hertfordshire! We love this place! The calamari and kebabs are unsurpassed. The service is of the highest standard and nothing is too much trouble and the staff are very attentive and friendly. High standard of decor is exceptional and the atmosphere buzzy. BUT...BEWARE OF THE BREAD!!!

Excellent food, restaurant nice decor inside and outside. Mix of Turkish and western dishes was fused seamlessly. Particularly friendly nice service. Only real gripe was cocktails we had seemed to be virtually no alcohol. Definitely will return, good local restaurant for families and groups.

We received a lovely welcome to the restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was brilliant by all the staff, especially Yannick who looked after us from start to finish. We went for my husband's birthday and all of the staff acknowledged this which was a lovely touch. We really enjoyed our evening, highly recommend, we will be back, thank you so much.

Excellent!! A little more expensive than the usual offerings but it's so worth it! Food is excellent, served very quickly, stunning to look at and delicious. Cocktails are by far the best in Stevenage. The service was outstanding, the gentleman that served us was very entertaining and really made us feel special. Simple to book online, staff always give that extra bit of TLC and remember you if you have been before. Cocktails taste amazing and are well presented - food is even better. It’s always our first choice if booking a meal out in Stevenage Old Town.

Another great dining experience. In one word: outstanding! We went for dinner to celebrate a special occasion with our daughter, and absolutely everything was perfect. The food, the drinks, but most important thr service. The customer services was just perfect, personal, and the gentleman who look after us (I didn't ask his name, sorry) was incredible. Even gave our daughter some tips about hospitality management (she has just been promoted and works in the industry). I cannot recommend this place highly enough!
