TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE : We ordered two fish and chip meals and were charged twice. The shop charged us over £50 and now refuse to refund the mistake. We have emailed and called OVER 20 TIMES MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR ACCOUNT AFTER EATING HERE

I’ve been coming here for a while and the main place I go to get chips or dinner and stuff. One of THE BEST fish a chip shops I’ve went to. I’m in and out in just 5 mins tops.

The best starthaddock fish & chips I had eaten in London. Thank you that was lovely. Tahini sauce was fresh and testy. Thanks for the lovely work dinner.

Usually I order for delivery, today I went. The shop is SPOTLESS! The food was cooked fresh! And the customer service was on point. There is a area to est in, and if you like wine there is the option.

Lovely find, amazing prices, friendly services and enjoyed by all of us. There was a good choice of food and drink and couldn’t fault it for service and cleanliness

Really nice fish and chip restaurant. Also takeaway. Fish was freshly cooked, not dry, crispy batter, not greasy. Regular size was a good size. Sides are extra. Pay at till. Pleasant, efficient service from staff. Recommended

This place did not have the fish drenched in oil like most fish places do Such a good taste and the tartar sauce was amazing! And great service! Xx

What a fantastic place. I was looking for a nice place to grab a drink and a bite to eat and from the moment I walked in, the gentleman behind the counter was welcoming and served me with a smile. I asked to eat in and he told me to sit and he would bring it to me. It wasn’t long before my freshly cooked food and cup of tea arrived. And what a portion it was. I didn’t manage to eat it all unfortunately, but it was lovely either way. Chips were fantastic. The food was very clean and not greasy. The gentleman also continued to check in. The restaurant was very clean and neat. It has toilets (which most food/drink places in the area don’t), and they are actually very posh - love the taps! I honestly can’t fault this place. It was very reasonably priced too. Double battered sausage and chips, plus a tea - £8.50! Recommended if you are looking for a good fish and chip shop for takeaway or eating in.

This place really knows how to take care of their customers. They are friendly, considerate and kind. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. The food is delicious. Big portions at affordable prices. A place to socialise or drop in on your own.

By far the tastiest fish and chips in London. The staff is friendly, quick and competent. The shop is super clean and organized. More than worth a visit, it's amazing!

It’s one of a number of new eateries at the western end of Lavender Hill including the Persian Room 43 and Sea Shack. I ordered a takeaway of a ‘small’ haddock and chips for my daughter, a lemon sole for my wife and a large skate and chips for me. The portions were enormous, but the batter was unappealing and the chips soggy and undercooked. I made a mistake ordering battered squid as a starter - eight huge rings we couldn’t finish. The staff are friendly. It’s cash only so a trip to a cash point down the road reduced the waiting time at the shop itself. It’s also unlicensed.

Having lived young adulthood in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire I'm well qualified to be an expert on fish and chips! Cleethorpes, Skegness, Whitby, Bridlington and Scarborough were all familiar haunts. Sometimes us fish and chips afficianados get an urge eh? And nothing else will satisfy the pangs of hunger.... My daughter has recently moved to Clapham and knowing my exacting standards told me that I wouldn't be disappointed. She was right. Freshly cooked haddock, fabulous chips and a gherkin.....simply marvellous! Lovely service.
