My wife and I called into this lovely cafe this morning. We were passing through and happened to spot it. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I had a Latte, and Caramel/Chocolate Shortbread which was very good. The seating area and bathroom facilities were spotlessly clean. Will definitely call in again soon for a bite to eat!

We went back to this cafe for breakfast after visiting for lunch earlier in the week whilst we were on holiday. The food was fresh, of very high quality, locally sourced and generous. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The owner clearly cares about his customer’s experience. The cafe was clean and nicely decorated. Dogs welcome in a separate area so all can enjoy their visit. Would highly recommend.

We visited having read the reviews but really didn’t feel this place lived up to expectations. Ambience is a bit utilitarian, not much of a welcome, staff a little disinterested, food good but nothing more (both food and drinks were a little cold), quite pricey. So from our experience it’s a decent cafe but nothing more.

It must be tough being number one cafe in Crickhowell , where the competition from other cafes is so high. However Latte da just consistently gives great food and service . The owners are amazing hosts and so friendly. The other staff are likewise just brilliant. I have had a number of the dishes over the past months and they are all great quality and good value.

Unfortunately todays experience was extremely poor. Staff were lacking enthusiasm, presence and good customer service. For such a such a high price, the quality of the food did not match at all. The salad consisted mainly of iceberg lettuce and no dressing etc. The sandwich bread was stale. Overall, very mediocre. Table service non-existent. No cutlery brought to us until we asked. Surrounding tables not cleared after more people arriving, therefore meaning new guests having to do it themselves. Therefore very school dinner style- not impressed.

This is a regular venue for us as a family and a place we always feel comfortable about taking our friends to. The ambience is very good both inside and in the garden. The staff are friendly and welcoming and very obliging. The food is very good quality, locally sourced and well prepared and presented. Our latest visit was particularly requested by our friends who have visited with us before and we all enjoyed our lunches and liquid refreshments. And the Sundaes were amazing!!

Almost perfect! Amazingly warm personable owner Lovely ambience and fab cakes Lovely garden A few thoughts (and he’ll care enough to read this - that’s the good news!) Here goes: Serve baked beans in a ramekin - some of us hate them mixed with eggs! (Or anything else on the plate). I’m thinking of forming a club for us lol! If anyone states they are gluten free your staff need to know to discreetly ask if this person suffers from coeliac disease - this is a medical condition so your chef needs to know in turn and it needs a BUG RED circle on the order to ensure it cannot be missed! Yes the customer should state this but it shows you care and they might forget. Please give us 2 slices of gf bread. How can we mop up breakfast with just one?! Yes it costs more but per slice - look after us too! I hated the plastic tinned mushrooms - at these prices I’d expect fresh Lastly - sticky lemon drizzle served on a napkin - we are trying to save the planet! I can’t even re-use this as it’s a sticky mess! (So many cafes give out way too much paper!) Can you provide somewhere to tie up the pooches (indoors and in the garden) That’d be amazing Hoping this will help to make it top notch for all!

Our visit was Bank Holiday Monday, so pretty busy. The young waitress explained we could sit in the garden area but would transfer us inside when a table became available. Our choices included eggs Benedict, salmon, scrambled eggs and sourdough and pancakes, bacon and maple syrup, all delicious, with excellent lattes. The staff are to be commended on the way they delivered great service on a busy lunchtime, friendly and efficient. Deserved a better response to their tip cup, just a few pence when I left my tip, come on people! Had a lovely chat to the owner too. Will definitely call back again. Thank you.

This is a lovely, bright, airey cafe on the main road with a good choice of items for breakfast/brunch. We went for the stack of pancakes with nutella and fruits and the egg and bacon bagel all of which were well cooked and very enjoyable and all delivered piping hot and with only a short wait which was all perfectly acceptable. Great coffee!! Great pastries!! Don’t go to the chain coffee shops! Break away from your Starbucks or Costa coffee and go to Latte-da Coffee for a lovingly and expertly prepared Espresso drink. The staff know how to make coffee, how to foam the milk correctly and their pastries are delicious! Being a self confessed coffee snog I avoid Starbucks and other chain coffee shops and seek out local specialty coffee houses. The chain shops, I only go to in emergencies! Here they weigh the coffee grinds and coffee making is a science. I had the granola bar and it was delicious. My daughter had a chicken and sweet chilli sandwich which was also delicious. Highly recommended

Although we visited on a busy Sunday lunchtime we received a really warm welcome from the owner. We had a table outside in the garden under an awning and a high chair was provided for my friend's baby. The vegan option was falafel in a folded flat bread with a little houmus and simple salad on the side. Although the falafel weren't crispy they were tasty and there were lots of them. Best of all though was the coffee (so good I had 2 flat whites with oat milk!), having two vegan cakes to choose from (banana and mango & coconut) and the friendly ambience. If you're anywhere near Crickhowell be sure to stop off at this lovely cafe.

We were on a day-long cycle ride on hire bikes and the staff were very welcoming, saying we could bring the bikes through to the courtyard garden, though it was a squeeze carrying them through the premises as there's no door/gate directly from the street. We were informed there'd be a wait on food, though in reality it was far shorter than advised and well within what you would normally expect of a busy cafe at peak lunchtime. The food was fantastic, we had a pair of pulled-pork buns and a piece of cake. And all the other options we saw going to other tables looked brilliant as well. Only small point was that it would've been nice to get some crisps though they currently don't offer them. This was more than made up for by the fantastic ice cream, which was very welcome on a hot summer's day!Nice spot, would visit again.

I find some peoples' reviews disturbing. My wife and I were on a table adjacent to the group who have criticised the venue as they "felt shoed out of the shop" All I can say is that they were dealt with with great care and consideration despite the amount of time and effort that was involved in clearing up during their long stay at a time when there were large numbers of customers entering. I believe the comments say more about the customer's guilt at the noise and mess their children had caused which whilst understandable was disruptive to other guests. Two hours plus seems reasonable time for some but in these busy times with all of the pressures and restrictions on hospitality, it is perhaps fair that they think twice about their comments.

Very mixed feelings as initially this was a very lovely experience, with excellent coffee and pastry, polite and helpful staff, and we were made to feel very reassured and welcome when our child wet themselves. My husband had a delicious pancake breakfast. However we kept getting comments about them needing the table because there was a queue and I got flustered as my husband had popped back to the car to get nappy sacks. My one year old was still eating and by about the fourth comment I ended up leaving the table with my 3yo and 1yo and his toast, with all our stuff as it was very clear we were in the way. felt very upset as we had bought breakfast for six of us.

I love Crickhowell and visit there often. Me and another fellow Biker parked our Motorbikes and decided to have a Cup of tea at the Latte Da Cafe. Upon walking in we found it clean and well set out. We sat at a Table and ordered a pot of tea for Two. Although other people were in there I found it lacked Atmosphere. The staff were non engaging and openness and friendliness was non existent. The pot of Tea for 2 which nearly made 2 cups each came in at Just under £4. Sorry but next time I visit Crickhowell I will give this place a miss.

Came to Crickhowell to do some last minute Christmas shopping and wanted somewhere for lunch. This is the place for a tasty and reasonable lunch with very friendly service. The setting is clean and fresh and decor tasteful. We will be back!!

We have been visiting the Latte Da for coffee with friends for 3 years and this year we found they had moved just next door to a lovely tastefully decorated new restaurant. The quality of the food and drink was as always wonderful. The staff are friendly and give quick and excellent service. The best place for refreshment in Crickhowell

6 of us visited for lunch, it was very busy but they managed to accommodate us by bringing in another table and were most welcoming. The menu had plenty of tempting options, I personally recommend the rarebit. Great place and great staff!

A lovely cafe whose menu is easily on par with some artsy East London joints. The real winner for us was the iced coffee, which tasted amazing! I'm not a huge fan of how coffee tastes and always cover it with syrups, but this one, I loved. We went back the next day just for that. The staff was lovely and all remembered us the next day.

We called here for coffee one cold morning in September, my husband in a wheel chair. Our coach had parked in the nearby coach and car park. We had the most gorgeous coffee & cake and would recommend it to all people who go to Crickhowell! The staff were so friendly, the cafe was small, we heard that they were moving to larger premises, Im sure they will do well there! Thankyou Latte-da for making our morning so good!

They are about to move to bigger premises so the only objection one might have, that the café is a bit cramped will soon go. Very good coffee. Honest quality food. Fair price. The staff are cheerful and polite. What's not to like!

A great example of what a cafe should be. Greeted and served with a smile, high quality bacon, eggs and soughdough together with the best coffee I've had for a long while (and I drink lots of coffee!) We'll be back Thank you

Good selection of food and yummy cakes. Unfortunately tables crammed in and to many chairs around table unable to use. On the bright side they are moving to new premises in October so hopefully mor room, have been there before and so so many tables.

Although regular visitors to Crickhowell it is only recently that we started coming here. So glad that we did. Staff are really friendly. Great coffee and the best Welsh rarebit I've ever had. This is why it is so hard to get a table. A very popular place and so it deserves to be. Next month they move next door but one to The Beaufort which is much bigger. Good luck!

A great discovery today as good coffee is hard to find and this cafe had great coffee. I had the eggs Royale (Benedict) for breakfast and it was good - a little more garnish would have improved the presentation. Other meals being served looked good.

Found this cafe on line, glad we did, the guys were so welcoming, even the dog was welcomed in. We both had the big cooked breakfast, wow, it’s not very often I actually enjoy a cooked breakfast but this was amazing, really good quality ingredients cooked perfectly. We’d happily go back.

Passing through on a biking challenge over the weekend we found this cosy authentic welsh pub. The staff were incredibly welcoming, the beer selection was perfect and they couldn’t do more for us! Would definitely return if in the area again!

Whilst I usually promote Deli-Licious as a good place to go if you have a Gluten Free (GF) diet, I was recently disappointed by their GF afternoon tea. I was pleased to hear they offered a GF afternoon tea but was left feeling let down by the poor selection and presentation. The normal afternoon tea was presented on either a picnic bench or a three tiered serving stand, mine was just put on a plate with no effort to make it look like everyone else’s in the group, making me feel like an outcast. At a cost of £16.95, it certainly wasn’t value for money.

The best breakfast for a Good 15 miles, honestly cannot fault it. Cooked to order every time and super tasty. No dried up bacon or tinned mushrooms here thanks!
