Came in for coffee. Asked about selection of wines, as am in trade and was interested where they came from. Was told by owner I was/am an ignoramus for not knowing. No further visits pending.

Lovely coffee and food. However as many others have noted service is awful. Some places may be slightly disinterested or offhand but I found this place just straight up rude. Never again.

Looking for nice coffee and cake mid afternoon Monday. Lovely shop but an owner/server with no manners, rude, grim faced clearly unhappy with her lot! Will not be back….

I'm a big advocate of supporting local businesses. I've tried to support this shop throughout the pandemic, and have persisted despite feeling that prices were quite steep and the service was not particularly friendly. However, today I purchased a 'home-made' empire biscuit only to discover that it was made from two brand-name shop bought biscuits sandwiched together with jam. Poor show! This leaves me feeling totally ripped off and I'm afraid this shop has now lost my business...

The waitress ( I believe is the owner) is very very rude and it made the whole transaction really awkward.... no smile no thank you. When I was asking her something, she just turn her back on me and made a phone call and in the end just gave me the tea still talking on the phone, not even acknowledging my presence... This person clearly lacks of customer service skills and should never be behind a counter... it's a shame because it should be a nice wee local cafe and it's not.... although the bread and pastries are lovely I'll never set foot in there!

Looking for a Taste of Arran chutney in Glasgow. Company gave me nearest stockist. Visited this superb little deli for first time today to buy this chutney. Will be back especially when out walking. Will make an effort to go that like extra mile to visit for a treat.

Quality of food is fine. A little on the pricey side. The woman who runs it however is grumpy and brusque.

Recently out walking for daily exercise in Maxwell Park and came across La Tea Doh as I fancied a coffee break. In the past I have been an ardent visitor of Costa - No More!!! I have been back several times now. The cakes are delicious and fresh! Best apple pie I have Ever tasted. Far superior to Costa at a similar price. Can’t sit outside at the moment due to lockdown but if you want a coffee pick me up And takeaway this is the place to go to

After a previously rude encounter at the cafe with one staff member in particular, I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt as everyone can have a bad day and I wanted to support a local business during this challenging time. However, on visiting again, I will not be returning! Upon ordering I was unapologetically told that stock was low. When taking less than 30 seconds to decide what to order instead, I was told to “make the decision now”. It was mid afternoon and I was the only person in the shop. It was an unpleasant, rushed experienced and having worked in a cafe myself, I believe she seriously needs to brush up on her customer service. It’s such a shame that a lovely local cafe can be ruined by one rude staff member. Great food, terrible service!

Very small but great little place for coffee or small bites and cakes. It’s very interesting with lots to keep your eyes busy. Good quality speciality foods to buy. Quaint little place. Nice staff.

Hadn't been here for years but was passing at lunchtime so thought I'd give them a try. Bought a chilli cheese combo on focaccia which was meant to contain 'thick mature cheddar, house salsa, red onion, peppers & chilli mayo'. In reality it was a warm focaccia slathered with mayo, 2 thin slices of cheese barely covering half the roll, one tiny piece of red onion and a halved cherry tomato. There may have been a small amount of salsa and chilli but if so it was lost in the sludgy warm mayo. Very poor value and I would have taken it back if I had time. To be honest I just laughed when I unwrapped the sandwich as I remembered exactly why I stopped visiting this place years ago. Still, they've kept afloat when others have gone under so I guess for some locals the fancy dry goods and awning make up for dour service and overpriced sandwiches and cakes.

What better way to start a weekend then having breakfast and a coffee together (French toast is amazing). If you can persuade the better half to sit outside so much the better, but if you can't try and get a window seat. Add to that a wee browse amongst the specialty food items on the shelves.

This place is such an asset to Pollokshields selling the highest quality produce. The bread and cakes are amazing. The staff are always a delight to deal with too.

Great atmosphere, love the decor and feel of the place - delish sandwishes and tarts including chilli cheese combo sandwich - lovely relaxing place and seats outside for the nice weather. The lasagne the took away is also fabulous. Would recommend. x

I had a ploughmans roll, which was good apart from not enough cheese but the homemade chutney was lovely. The soup appalling, thin, watery leak and potato with no flavour. I don't understand how you can get something so simple so wrong. And it's hardly cheap either.

Just a little deli but a wide range of food and gifts. Great to sit in the sun with excellent coffees and a very fine croissant with bacon. Lots of cafes in the area but fairly easy to park here. Note no toilet.

They actually served a guy who was covered in his own filth. Utterly disgusting. Pub should be shut down. It serves food for god's sake. They should have called the police. Disgrace.
