Typical chain fayre nothing to write home about staff polite and courtious not keen on ordering by app but was only option as we were placed upstairs as downstairs was full

Came for bottomless brunch, was a tremendous experience, Josh looked after our table, went above and beyond, 10/10 experience :) We’re very inclusive about dietary restrictions and efficient when bringing our drinks.

I'm confused with the good reviews. It was my second time visiting and the service hasn't got any better. Rude staff more interested in chatting to each other than looking after their customers. Food is mediocre, microwaved and tasteless

We had a bottomless brunch booked through a third party company for a hen do (10 of us) When we arrived we were offered two bottles of prosecco for the table and a couple of pitchers of cocktails. The staff had our pre-order printed which was helpful as there were a few allergies in the group. We were able to order extra nachos and fries for the table with ease. We must have ordered around 10/12 pitchers alongside 4 bottles of prosecco overall for our two hour period - the drinks came fast and the Mango Collins was definitely a favourite! Fabulous service, amazing food, great atmosphere - thank you!

UPDATE: five years on and now it is like the Toby carvery of Mexican. The food is quickly done, nothing special and the place has a fast food vibe to it. We were originally sat in the middle of crowded downstairs room but asked for a less conspicuous spot and was moved upstairs which is a more chilled out area. The food was tasty and arrived quickly and the staff were friendly and helpful. Prices are ok, not too expensive for a city centre venue.

Good flavour however the price for certain foods is too high for what you get. I don’t recommend getting quesadillas, it’s too expensive for 2 thin tortillas, get something else instead.

Las Iguanas York is our go to for cocktails. Taela made our drinks so so well, we couldn’t be more thankful. We had quite a few margaritas which were incredible. Really better than any i’d ever had before! Las iguanas is a must if you’re visiting York or just looking for a few quick drinks!

Interesting and tasty food well presented Service fantastic Had the bottomless brunch, which not very self explanatory, it bottom less drinks and small dishes, we ended up with extras on our bill which added up to a fair amount, I couldn't use vouchers for food but if I had money off I could use that, I was confused by this as what's the difference overall!? Overall an ok experience but I'd advise checking the menu and options fully before booking. Friendly lively atmosphere Would visit again.

Came in yesterday for a meal and me been gluten free (awkward ha) told this to the waitress and it’s all labeled on the menu wanted the mixed grill she went to double check and said the steak was not gluten free as marinated so would be a small meal, she checked another meal the fajita steak was but had my heart set on that she went to ask the chef if I could have that steak with the mixed grill they said they could which was great. Great service from Annie (like in the musical! Her words) was a lovely meal and great service would highly recommend we’ve eaten at lunch time before but not evening so was very impressed.

Nice meal! Calamari and tacos to share were tasty. The empanadas weren’t the best. Staff are super and the wine was good.
