We went to las iguanas with friends to celebrate my birthday. I would like to point out that staff was who really made my day special. Roma was very kind and professional. Roma and her team organised a dessert for free as a birthday treat for me. It was a very nice surprise. Thank you very much Roma. The food was lovely and the place has a very good atmosphere.

Chicken fajitas and chicken quesadillas are very delicious 😋, Also the nachos was amazing 👍

Olivia Kate case was an amazing waitress, very polite, attentive, and overall cool. Will definitely be coming back and most definitely be asking for Olivia to be our server. Great service thank you so much

Great service and food from all the team especially Mati who was very funny, attentive and knowledgeable about all of our questions. She had a speedy team working for her and they were all polite. Definitely an asset to the company. Will be back again!

This is the second time I've eaten at las iguanas and the second time I've come away disappointed. Whilst the staff were incredibly friendly and lovely, it was about 1h45 till we actually ate our main course. I had the fajitas which turned out to be a bit of a small portion, and tasted pretty bland. I felt like for what we spent (close to £60 for two of us) it was absolutely not worth the price - I came away feeling a bit ripped off. I must say again how lovely the staff were though! No complaints regarding them.

Had an absolutely wonderful dinner at Las Iguanas Cardiff Bay for my birthday celebrations last night. Huge thank you to Kasia and Callum, who went above and beyond to make our evening extra special with complimentary birthday dessert and cocktails, and stellar customer service! First day of the new menu too - so many yummy options! Will definitely be returning and 100% recommend to anyone looking for a night to remember x

We came here for our first anniversary, the staff, Neha and Kasia were lovely. They looked after us so well, would highly recommend!

Despite arriving at prime dinner time on a Saturday evening, they were able to seat us rather quickly! While waiting for our food, we enjoyed the 2-for-1 drink deal (which applies to an extensive list/fun variety of cocktails.) Our server Callum was absolutely lovely, and he checked in with us several times throughout the evening to ensure we didn’t need anything else.

We were served my Roma who was such a great server, was a bit of a wait on drinks but it is freshers week!

Dude, let me tell you about my experience at Las Iguanas in Cardiff Bay. It was a chill Tuesday, not too busy, so I was expecting decent service, but man, did Callum, the manager, blow that expectation out of the water. With the place not packed, it gave him and the team the chance to focus in and deliver some of the best service I’ve had in a long time. Callum was all over it, but not in a way that felt like hovering—more like he was just dialed in, ready to make sure we had everything we needed without even asking. It’s wild how much difference great service makes, and Callum? That guy’s a service ninja. You could just feel his energy making the whole vibe better. If you’re hitting up Cardiff Bay and want a place that delivers on food and service, check out Las Iguanas and hope Callum’s running the floor. Dude’s got the hospitality game on lock!

We visited for a family occasion on Sat afternoon. It was quite busy and staff was trying to accommodate everyone. We waited for our food nearly an hour so getting hungry and inpatient but as an apology the female manager went far and beyond bringing us extra drinks, coctails, nachos and starters which was really nice! Food was tasty and fresh. This how customer service should be like and overall we left happy and satisfied. We'll come back again!

Had a wonderful time. Came in to try the wonderful variety of cocktails on my gf's birthday and had a blast. We had Kasia taking care of us and she has been an absolute star (thank you for the tequila shots, Kasia!). Highly recommend this place.

Had a small takeaway on Saturday evening from here, but even though I wasn't dining in, I was served by the manager Cal, and his customer service was excellent! The food was great and was also ready quickly too. All around great experience even though it was brief.

We ate here yesterday, and would definetly recommend. The waiter, I wish I new his name was great. He seemed to be serving everything by himself, the food, the drinks, and also taking the orders, he was incredibly helpful also, i think i totally confused him lol, but he didnt seem to be fazed. He was very bubbly as well. We had tapas and they were all great. Would definetly recommend.

Had the lunchtime meal deal. Was excellent. Plenty to eat and service was also great.

We were a group of 8 and were running late but the management helped accommodate us letting us enjoy the full brunch experience. Once at the venue the staff helped explain how it works and worked extremely hard so that none of us waited for anything for too long even in a packed restaurant. The food was good, no one was left disappointed or hungry. Very friendly staff and deserving of five stars. Value for money Nice setting in the bay Recommend

Beautiful tapas that transports us to warmer climes. The birthday welcome with a lovely table and complimentary wine was touch that makes it special and memorable.

We went there for first time. The food and drinks were very good, a bit pricey but they always have offers in the app to bring the cost down. The only thing I thought was frustrating was you can only use one "perk" or voucher per table. So if a table of 6 turned up and each person had the app with a voucher for a free drink only only one person would be able to use it.

We came in for nachos & a sex on the beach sharing bucket. Both the food and the drinks were amazing & super fast service. Special shout out to James who was so lovely to us. Chatted to us like we were old friends & made the experience so fun.

We had a lovely time at Las Iquanas today, the service was excellent with our server Nleha being very friendly and accommodating, definitely recommend! Nleha was very polite, welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed throughout :)

Visited yesterday (Sunday approx 5pm) for 241 cocktail and food. Was seated and then had a browse through drinks menu. Usually someone comes over after certain time after being seated to give us chance to look at drinks, which didn't happen after 20 minutes so we waved down waitress to take our drink order. Same happened when ordering our mains and never had anyone during our time there clean up the empty drinks or ask if we wanted to order more. We waved down someone to take our main meal order and that took approx just under an hour. When it was brought to us it had a skin on the sauces where it was left on the pass under the light for longer than necessary. No-one checked if our food was okay or acknowledged the empty glasses to remove them or to ask if we wanted more drinks (which would've been noticeable) the chefs beard hair was lovely and curled on the curly fries too (ironically). Whicj extra was paid for the curly fries too. when we finished our food, the empty plates were left on the table along with the empty cocktail glasses for the entire duration we were there. We were there for a total of approx 2 half, 3 hours (possibly longer?) We were given the option to sit outside and order on the app for table service or indoor for table service 🤔. Usual routine is asking for the bill when the plates and the mess was collected which never took place so we had to go to the till and ask for the bill and pay! Will amend this review if I ever have to visit again and if it had improved my opinion. Will also amend/edit the timeframes I've given if you want to check cctv of us to validate this review as I feel I have been accurate with information I've commented.

We were fully satisfied. We feel that Las Iguanas means value for money in all aspects.

Very nice restaurant with seaview. Our waiter Rio was very kind and helpfull. Good Mexican food. Nice mocktails too.

The last time I ate at a L.I. about 10 years ago it was still pretty decent. This time we only wanted something light so only ordered starters. The Nachos has to be the simplest dish in the world to prepare but the miniscule amount of cheese was very over done and dry. Cutbacks I guess but they were not even having a busy evening so for the chefs and floor staff to allow it to reach our table in that state is disappointing. Nobody likes dry, crusty cheese on their Nachos.

Excellent Mexican food, all fresh, tasty food. Friendly and informative staff to help with any questions. We will return here, as long as we are staying in the area.

Good service apart from a bit delayed on giving us the bill. Had the beef burrito and I found the portion size to be a little small as the wrap wasn’t filled much however it tasted really good.

Excellent food, despite running low on certain sides at the time, we were offered alternatives free of extra charge. Loreta served us and was very lovely, helpful and polite. Easily accessible from Mermaid Quay car park and with nice window seats overlooking the bay. We'll be coming back for sure!

Just had some cocktails there, it was alright, not amazing. Cocktails’ presentation wasn’t the best tho! I haven’t tried any food there yet so can’t comment on that. The place is clean and tidy and staff are friendly and nice. Also the price is reasonable for cocktails! (It’s 12-13 £ for 2 similar cocktails)
