Came here for bottomless brunch the service was so insane! We got more than 15 drinks

Lynne was amazing, great service, really made our experience!

Lyn was very helpful and lovely. She was very attentive. We all had the bottomless tapas and the selection was good and food delicious. They are very knowledgeable about Gluten Free and don’t make you feel awkward ordering for a special diet. Highly recommend this restaurant for food and drinks.

Lovely food! Jono served us and he was fabulous, very funny and had great recommendations. Definitely recommend the taco board and a spicy marg.

I'm sure it's lovely, but we tried to walk in at 6pm on a Saturday and they only had tables outside for drinks, even tho there were plenty of empty looking tables inside. O well. Their loss.

Went in on a Tuesday afternoon about 4pm . It was empty maybe about three tables that had people. Took someone 20mins to come to our table. We ordered food and drinks. The food didn't come till 1hr later.. and it was just two of the Tapas.. we then had to tell them we ordered fajitas too. That took another 30 mins .. the food was really tasteless.. honestly shocking 1hr 30 wait for food. The young lad who served us was nice, that was about it. We paid and left... No apology for slow food, no goodbye.

Service is shockingly slow, waited 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order and only after I'd gone to the bar to ask for service. Considering there were only 5 or 6 other tables with customers and 5 servers.

The food was outstanding. Despite being so busy Kasia & her team delivered absolutely great service. Will definitely visit again.

Francesco was amazing, he made sure we were always taken care of and ensured we always had a drink in hand during our bottomless brunch experience. He was constantly on top of our orders and brought out our next drinks before even needing to ask - A true service professional. He should be running front of house for all guests.

Francesco, was an absolute delight. We booked bottomless brunch 17/05 at 1pm. Let me say again, Francesco deserves the bloody world. Smile didn’t leave his face. Was out for our mates birthday and he was basically one of the lads. Absolute pleasure to meet him and I will absolutely recommend to come just for this man. Legend and a great place

It's almost all about the staff, they are always so friendly and helpful - even when it's busy! Food is pretty good, but I did think it was a bit pricey (look out for offers which do bring the prices down a bit )

Food was cold and poor quality. Boyfriend was ill afterwards Outdoor sitting area is dirty.

Been many times before and food and service always excellent! This time was no exception and Lyn was very attentive and helpful. Highly recommended.

Quick and friendly service, we had 10 cocktails each in our bottomless brunch and the food was delicious. Drinks kept coming and served with a friendly face by Kamila! We would highly recommend :)

Food was really good. I visited in a group of 3 we ordered the loaded nachos, the padron peppers, the patatas bravas and the taco sharing board. The patatas bravas and the slow cooked beef that came with the tacos all deserve special mention as they were delicious. Do remember that if you order a cocktail they are more ice than anything else (see video)

Quite disappointing experience. The food was bland and tasteless. The waiter who served the food wasn't' friendly. Very poor value for money to be honest.

Customer service was horrible was told I didn’t book when I did was supposed to be seated for 7:30 did not get our table till 8:00 food came out cold wasn’t fresh and was smelly in the restaurant it smelt like POO!

Visited with my mum before a matinée show. We had a lovely meal and were looked after by Lyn, who was wonderful. The lunch deal was extremely good value, it was under £30 for mains, drinks, and a side for us both.

Lyn is a fabulous server who ensured we had great service all afternoon for our post exam celebrations. We did a bottomless brunch and she ensured we were always topped up with drinks and our food came speedy. Even though we sat outside (in the sun ☀️) so we didn’t have table service, she still ensured that we had excellent service. Thank you to lyn, ashes, matti and the rest of the team x

We had such a fantastic time at our bottomless brunch! We were looked after by Lynn, who was absolutely wonderful — so attentive, warm, and genuinely made us feel so welcome. Her lovely smile and friendly energy really added to the experience. The rest of the team were also brilliant; everyone went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of and having a great time. The service throughout was excellent, and I honestly couldn’t recommend this place more. We’ll definitely be back!

Friday 20th March, Waited patiently in a queue for a good 10 minutes, which was fine as it seemed busy but not totally full. When greeted we told the server we were weren’t going to a show (a lot were, who expected quick service) so, we were happy to wait for food, however, would like a drink while waiting. We sat at the table with menus and waited roughly 20 minutes before we decided to leave. We wasn’t so much as acknowledged for a drinks order. The servers could see we were waiting, there was no acknowledgment of saying they would be with us shortly. Staff seemed to prioritise customers who were going to The Theatre, even customers who hadn’t booked, but wanted to go to The Show. We knew this as we could hear in the queue. Very minimal staff present, I’m sure they will say it’s a “staff shortage” issue. They watched us walk out and didn’t act bothered.

Came here for Bottomless Brunch last Friday 14th March. Everything was amazing, our host in particular was amazing, could not fault him. Quick service, great cocktails and food, would definitely recommend and come again

AWFUL - what terrible service, having paid something close to £90 for two people to have bottomless brunch, just to be ignored in an EMPTY restaurant. We probably got 4-5 drinks each (that’s close to £20 a drink). Shameful contrast to the las iguanas in town, just go there… or slug and lettuce.

Welsh was a consummate host. Such a charming and warm welcome. Such an asset to your business. The drinks were made to a high standard and the food was delicious. Easily the best bottomless brunch we've ever had.

Had a bottomless brunch at Las Iguanas in Cardiff Bay and Lynn our server was absolutely amazing. Kept the drinks flowing all evening!

Stopped in for lunch and had a warm welcome by Welsh who found us the perfect spot in the rare February sunshine. Rio the bartender made us the best cocktails and all in all it was a great experience. Staff like Welsh and Rio should be protected at all costs! Thanks guys, we'll be back for more spicy marks!!

Absolutely amazing experience, specially Las Iguanas Mermaid quay!! Went for the bottomless brunch and expected the usual chaos. HOWEVER, The service was out of this world and our servers, Mati and Kasia, were absolute stars and treated us like royalty 😭!! If you want a birthday celebration then I’d definitely recommend here (Thank you for the service you really made my mums birthday!!) xx

I Have not been here for a few years but I remember it being very nice. My partner took me here again expecting the same experience. Unfortunately it wasn’t, the rice is way too spicy to enjoy. I told the lovely waitress but she replied yes they are very hot.myself Working in the same industry I would have offered another option for sure. The tables next to us were full of food and chicken bones that no one cleared for the whole hour and a half that we were there. Not one member of staff cleared a table and they were not short staffed and it was a very quiet evening. I left feeling very hungry which for 50 pound for one course I really shouldn’t have, we will not ever return or recommen. Sorry but total ruined my birthday meal.

We had a fantastic meal woth lovely friendly servers. My only issue was that I had brought in a birthday cake and given clear instructions that I wanted it to be a surprise, I asked them to just bring it out with the provided candle after our mains. The surprise was rather spoilt by the server coming and asking the table if we were ready for the cake, and they alos failed to use the candle provided but used some they had in the kitchen. Other than that the meal and evening was fabulous.

I visited for the first time last week for the tapas deal for January and it definitely won’t be my last visit. The service was a little slow to start off with but it was incredibly busy esp for a Friday night in January and our server Francesco was so lovely and very informative. The dishes were stunning and we tried so many my fav being the Brazilian fried chicken and the shredded chipotle beef tacos 🌮 and the hot honey chicken tacos they were divine! Will Definetly be back and I look forward to trying even more of the menu. Thank you for a lovely evening

Absolutely wonderful customer service. Thought we'd come down to try the £15 tapas. Lyn was incredible and very attentive, she has brilliant customer service and is honestly such an asset to the company. I have never received such wonderful customer service in our lives. I have to say I have never experienced such an awful time at a restaurant. It was Friday, the last day of the bottomless tapas, so it was busy. We booked ahead, though, and we were 5 people. Firstly, when we ordered, we were told to only order 1 thing from the menu with a drink, which was strange, but we went with it. 20 minutes passed, but still no food, and when another 10 minutes passed, it arrived. One dish was stone cold. It was easily fixable, though. Just pop it in a microwave. I cannot even justify how long that took. Then, the waitress wrote down all our orders when ordering another round of food. It took 20 minutes for the food to arrive (the restaurant was getting quieter), and it was utterly wrong. We ordered Brazilian chicken and chicken wings and we got beef tacos. Then, after finishing the tacos, which we thought was a mistake, they gave us pulled pork tacos and patata bravas. We didn't wanna question it. We just ate the food, and by the time we finished and wanted to leave, it took 30 minutes for someone to come to the table, with someone having to go to the register and ask for our check and whether we had to go up and pay the bill. (At this point, we were one of three tables). The staff couldn't have been friendlier, but it was slow service, and it felt like, from the start, we were being ignored for the entire night. I know that, personally, as a server, it can get busy. But 20min - 30mins wait between a round of tapas, some of which we didn't even order. Simply unacceptable. I didn't think it was even possible for the level of disaster it was. I wasn't angry; I was just disappointed. The food we ordered was incredible. The music in the restaurant was too loud; I couldn't hear anyone from the table speak.

Poor experience.. food was late and cold, wrong orders, waiting at table for bill for 30 minutes. Went to celebrate for a birthday celebration and was very disappointed.

Our server, Lyn made our night. She was so welcoming and friendly. Really attentive and constantly kept us topped up with bottomless tapas and bottomless drinks. Thank you for such a lovely evening.
