Lartista Ristorante in Luton

Visited on Monday night October 21st with 2 friends. Excellent atmosphere and the food was fantastic. Seafood starters of calamari, gambas, lobster and mussels were superb. Veal strips, lamb and steak were all cooked to perfection. Did not try desserts. Also sampled the beef dish which you have to preorder. This was also cooked to perfection and was so tender. Went here before when it was Villa Alda and will definitely visit again.

I remember this place from the 90s when it was called Villa Ada. it's just got better and better, the service spot on and the food is so good!

Just found this lovely gem in the heart of Luton. The waitress was really nice and the chef was superb! The other customers know them as well. Will definitely come back and bring the family.

Another lovely meal at L'Artista. Always a lovely welcome, good service and delicious food. Today, I went for my lunch favourite of Tagliatelle Marinara (seafood with gf pasta) and a side to share of french beans/broccoli. There was a real treat today with the inclusion of some NZ Green-Lipped Mussels! Beautiful and very tasty.

Luton doesn’t score well for much, let alone food. This place is like an oasis in the desert. If you have to spend time in Luton, this will lighten your load. Go there, be looked after by the chef / owner and thank your lucky stars.

Mushroom and prawns to start with a T-Bone steak as a main, the taste buds were running wild and were satisfied. Family run restaurant with fine attention to detail.

Not knowing Luton at all it was wonderful to find this hidden gem fantastic attentive service and beautiful food and menu. Would highly recommend if you’re in the area.

First visit on recommendation from friends. It lived up to their promises. Between 8 we tried mussels, scallops and calamari for starters then fillet steak, calves liver, veal t bone can't remember the rest but all excellent. Artan the chef/owner was very friendly too

Was not many in on night there as football on. Recommended by hotel staying in and short walk. What a lovely cosy place. Food was lovely and spoke to owner /chef later and few drinks.

What a fabulous find! We arrived just after opening and were greeted at the door by the Chef/Proprietor Artan. The warm welcome was an indication of the kind and attentive man that he is. Crisp white linen, appropriate cutlery and sparkling glasses were much appreciated. And the food did not disappoint! My choice was the whole sea bream, so fresh and perfectly cooked. It was served with a white wine sauce that at my request Artan added capers and lemon to. My husband chose the lamb, very tender and served with a delicious sauce. Artan took the time to leave the kitchen to see how we were doing and presented us with a complimentary glass of his homemade Grappa at the end of our meal. We were too full for dessert so cannot comment but we highly recommend this restaurant within walking distance of Luton Mall. Sadly we were visiting Luton for one night only otherwise we undoubtedly would be regular customers. Don’t miss out!

We dropped in on the off chance, but discovered an absolute GEM. Food, wines, service all excellent. The staff were amazing going above and beyond. The Chef was outstanding. When in Luton again this is definitely our first stop. Colin & Janet

We have known Artan since his early days at La Dolce Vita and have always loved his food. We finally found him in his new restaurant and plan to visit as often as possible, our new favourite restaurant in Luton. We visited on Wednesday 12th June at 6:30pm for my birthday. There were 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 teens. We were met by Artan and his great nephew, who's service is second to none. Nothing was too much trouble and the drinks were kept topped up, despite being busy. Artan's food was spectacular as always, he even put a candle in my dessert and got everyone to sing happy birthday to me 🥰. Our favourite dishes were the tbone steak and the chicken with spinach and pancetta in a creamy sage sauce. We couldn't fault a thing though and the tiramisu was superb. Highly recommend Lartista Ristorante. You won't be disappointed. Make sure you book to avoid disappointment as word is getting around about how good the food is. They also have a function room upstairs which is perfect for around 25-30 people. We will be making use of that in the near future.

Our first time at Latista and it was superb. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was perfect. Nothing was too much bother. Artan prepared a mouth watering spaghetti ailio olio. Can't wait to return for more fabulous food, service and warm and friendly atmosphere

Truly amazing dinning experience! I have eaten in many of Luton’s restaurants but Lartista Restorante is in a league of its own. The owner took our order personally and gave his recommendations. First time we had visited for lunch…lovely smiling faces from staff as usual, food was excellent exactly the same as evening dinner and as it was my husbands birthday they brought out their homemade panecotta with a candle such a wonderful gesture, my husband was delighted, thank you everyone at Lartista see you all soon 🤩

I knew about his place for a while, but was very sceptical about location and how the place wasn't looking much like restaurant. But Never judge book by it's cover. Finally decided to give it a shot and go there on Valentine's day for dinner. They had set menu for Valentine's with few nice choices. We had very nice evening and food was great. This charming family-run restaurant offers a warm atmosphere. The staff is exceptionally pleasant and friendly, providing amazing food. Their assistance in recommending dishes based on dietary preferences is a plus. Our time with friends was truly enjoyable, and we would gladly visit again.

What a gem of a find we found in Luton. The starters of the scallops were a highlight, the burrata and king prawns were delicious. Followed by the vodka pasta and lobster ravioli.. yum! We met the chef Artan and his lovely daughter who made our evening so enjoyable. What a delightful evening to spend in Luton.

This was our second visit with the current owner but we’ve been eating at this restaurant for years. Artan gives the restaurant a whole new lease of life. Beautiful food, extremely welcoming and takes time to come and chat at the end of the evening. We very much enjoyed our visit, the food and his company. Stopped in Luton prior to flying out of the airport. Meal was fantastic. I had a mushroom and prawn starter with a steak for main. Service was excellent. Good knowledge of the wine on the menu. We tried Basile for first time having seen it advertised on Facebook We had a lovely starters calamari and grilled peppers goats cheese which was lovely followed by cod Loin and chicken supreme which was super tasty - place is busy and service is friendly and efficient
