Lariwala in Leicester

We had Vada Pav, Dal Vada, Pav Bhaji, Chole Poori, Chai and Khaman. Everything was tasty, fresh and satiating. The preparation is done with care and hygiene. This was our second trip to the place while visiting Leicester! Highly recommend

Was supposed to get one big potato fritter and they gave me two little ones instead. Useless

I orded papdi chat, samosa chaat and mango lassi. We absolutely love the food! The dishes are delicious.

Best place for Gujarati thali. Items changes daily in thali. Good selection of Indian street food. Made fresh and served fresh. Very friendly staff. Allah veg menu.

Came here for a quick brunch with friends and really enjoyed the food and service. Really good portions for affordable price. Highly recommend.

Best laari chaats, The taste was soo good I ate 4-5 diff items.. a must try and then u are in love with this place.. also Wajid bhai is one of the sweetest guy u will meet.

Lovely food and very reasonably priced. I recommend their tea and khaman - a wonderful breakfast! Staff are very friendly too. Give them a visit, you won’t regret.

Had takeaway and it was awful. Not fresh, missed items, no flavour. Some was inedible. Even the tub of onion was rotten, bhel was a joke (just a box of puffed rice and a chutney pot) and Mumbai sandwich looked nothing like the pictures and was tasteless. I'm worried to try the sweaty stale rice so that is going in the bin. Avoid.

Ordered “special samosa chaat” but was the same as normal samosa chaat, only cost more!

Tried out the puri shak after a friend of mine recommended it to me....I have to say it was lovely and fresh and great value for money. The owner was very pleasant and even offered me a chai cutting while I was waiting for my food. Will definitely come back again to try the chana masala next.

Noting special about this place, ordered the special chips there wasn't anything special about it. The Bombay Grill Sandwich was nice. Would recommend, but not the best.

Great small place. Nice vegetarian food with pure Indian traditional taste. Very cheap and cheerful. Gets really busy. Masala chai was ok tasted more like the elachi tea to me. Definitely recommend to try it out.

Why aloo paratha was ready made and not fresh .,.can you please explain me .,.it was clear that it was frozen paratha which was cooked again.,.

DONT BOTHER. UNLESS IT'S FOR KIDS...Ordered via deliveroo, for came cold and ridiculous hobbit size portions, tubs half full, paratha hobbit size, .tht is the size against a small takeaway..NEVER AGAIN

Very tasty and fresh Indian street food at a very affordable price. Allow a few extra mins for your order as they fry items like puris etc made to order. Recommend the sev puri and wara pau. Need to try the thaali next time!

Puri with Chana Masala , and Sandwich was okay but I wasn’t expecting frozen aloo paratha and especially when pay that price. So disappointed with Paratha.

Im hoping that what I had delivered was an anomoly, as all the other reviews seems to be great. I ordered through deliveroo and dont live too far away. Everything was cold and had to be reheated (rice therefore not good and puri were like cardboard before I tried to revive them). The chips were cold and a small portion. I do not know the names of indian dishes, hence ordering a Thali for the variety, but I googled one thing and it appears to be a piece of sponge cake - their pictures shows it as this - I got what can only be described as crumbs in a pot there was no "piece" of cake. Is this usual? I dont know. I like to experience new foods, hence trying these. The "cake" tasted nice however. I did really enjoy a pea and corriander curry, that was lovely, very tasty. It may have been that I just got what was left, rather than recooking / fresh cooking, as I ordered about 16:30 and it said last order 17:00. so maybe that was the explanation. I often order food from further away and it arrives hot. which left me a bit disappointed as something do not reheat well. In terms of the amount of food in the Thali, for the price it is good value. Tasty indian food. Proper masala and nicely cooked. Pav bhaji and bread pakora are must and dont miss their elaichi tea (couldn't try their masala tea though). Surely recommended!!

Good friendly staff. Nice fresh food. The most interesting is that they wear gloves to touch food which is good. They open very early in the morning and good for people who like to eat breakfast early morning ready to travel or work. You will have everything gujurati recipe. Check it out
