Food is shocking, received it cold, chicken all.sweaty and like rubber. Chips like cardboard and refried. Do not use

This place use to be ok not sure if new owners but food is shocking now, ordered a chicken schwarma and chips, chicken was rubbery, burnt and stone cold, chips were soggy and refried no spice, and the salad wow defo not fresh today.

The food is usually great and the guys sort my food out fast if my order is wrong but I can't understand the guy on the phone, he gets abit snotty when asked to repeat himself and the grilled chiken kebab has changed and it taste rank but the food is good and worth the order to try.

Always order from here, it is the best takeaway around, delivery is always fast and friendly! Will continue ordering from here

Really disappointed to say this...but ordered a few times from lano,good pizzas etc..but past few deliveries have been disappointing..late with delivery understandable with valentines day this time but,then told prices have gone up without notice is disappointing...as I pay by card(no machine on delivery driver),delivered tepid warm pizza!!then to question payment over an hour later when delivery driver came back with card machine!!?

Food has gone down hill in the last few months which looks like it could be due to new owners/staff? Gutted as Lano’s has always been our go to takeaway. The donner meat was so oily it could be poured off. The pizza was undercooked. There was other little bits of meats in with the donner meat which could be bad if someone with an allergy had this. The garlic bread didn’t even taste of garlic and the chips were oily and soggy with no chip spice on. This used to be our favourite place and we will no longer be using this takeaway.

In 2013 this shop was named after me ( my dad was the first ever owner ) and it is a shame to see what it has turned out after 10 years reading these reviews .Such a disappointment really 😔

This was my first time ordering and I was not impressed with the service. The delivery was late, the person who took my order was rude and mixed things up. The menu had one price but upon delivery I was told a different price.

The owner tried killing me! I ordered a pizza and it came with peppers (not on menu) and im allergic to peppers as i mentioned to him, he then continued to pick half the peppers off with tongs and then gave it back to me. I will die if i intiake peppers. Horrible service, dont go!!!

The customer service is vile the owner made my friend a pepperoni pizza with peppers on which it doesn’t mention on the menu and she’s ALLERGIC!!!. So we went back and he said it says it on the menu which it is not and then he took the peppers off with tongs and left some on there VILE 💩🤮🤮🤮 Then I went back again and he said I’m wasting his time and made me leave. The place is dirty, crawling with bugs and mice disgusting.

Since the change of owner. Food is burnt or undercooked. Yesterday I ordered a pizza on which the cheese was not melted. the owner is not nice and vulgar to customers. I do not recommend

Absolute disgrace since new owners to over food disgusting and burnt staff very rude threatened to hit my 15 year old daughter for complaining about food. Avoid at all costs.

Just received takeaway. Ordered a jacket spud with cheese. Big spud...that was raw inside! Absaloutly solid ...waste of money ...hubby got cheese omlette and chips chips were ok but omlette was awful, never using these again !

Went in shop to order .English not the best no pitta bread for donner kebab. Had to remind twice about sauces garlic & chilli .Large doner meat & chips small portion. Garlic bread tomato not much tomato on .To be honest £20 order not the best.

Food is amazing always nice. Delivery is always great and is still really hot. Sorry for ordering twice the website crashes and doesn't let you know that your order has gone through

This used be a very good place. But over the last year its become absolutely diabolical. Now its cash only! Food delivered incorrectly! Half of what you requested not delivered. Found a better place the other side of town.

Normally good as I am a regular customer. This time had a severe case of food poisoning. Won't be using again.

Wow regular customer normally so nice but tonight we asked for abit chilli to be put on the burger what do u do drown it in chilli bottom breadcake and top breadcake and some on the burger it self.. chips soggy and kebab meat cold least the pop was nicely chilled that the only good bit about the take away won't be returning

I`ve been using Lano`s for years and staff were always friendly, capable and the food was good. It`s all different staff now and I suspect a new owner. The large Kabab had enough meat to just about fill a sandwich and the chili sauce was like a relish , the sort you get a big bottle for £1 at Heron. I wont be using them again.

Kebab and salad a joke maybe in hull they accept this but not up north food absolutely Shan 3rd word

Absolutely disgusting. Burnt... Black pizza and not even cooked in the middle (god knows how) Chips were stone cold and looked like and tasted like they had been cooked in drain water. Zero care for customers and clearly wanting profit only. Chips were more spicy then chilli. God knows what there cooking them in. No balls listening to my complaint on phone.

Orderd donnor wrap chips our wraps was stone cold sure it was last night donnor meat it was cold no heat what so ever!

As a regular customer I'm very disappointed in tonight's service. Late food, burnt food and the man on the phone didn't offer a replacement or a refund. Will not be ordering again.

I used to be a regular customer of Lanos. However tonight i waited an hour for a calzone. When it arrived it was cremated and completely black underneath. When i rang the shop to complain they couldnt care less and refused to refund or replace my order. I will never order from here again and I will certainly ensure I inform others about the ABYSMAL service i received tonight.

Delivery driver very rude I won't tolerate this twice happened now always send a can instead of a bottle. We've been regular customers for 7 years we will no longer be customers anymore. When we're paying customers what recieve wrong orders and rude communication would give no stars if given the option. Sort it out Lano's we pay money to recieve abuse and rubbish orders.

We always use lano's but tonight it was extra nice, can't fault at all. Chicken kebab, chips, garlic sauce & donner supreme with spicy chicken, outstanding! And 5 mins early.

Oh dear Lano's, what going on tonight??? We are a regular customer of yours and the food is always delicious, but tonight...... Over an hour late, and also cold, which is not like you, chips not cooked properly/like rubber. No seasoning salt on chips either. Ordered medium donner meat and chips and I'm sure we got a kids portion, not good at all!!!!. Also got mixed kebabs and couldn't bite through any of the meat, it was too over cooked. Even the dog couldn't chew it. Such a shame as usually this place is very good.

Ordered some food for delivery Quick delivery time ( 15 mins ,) food was nice and hot when it arrived . All the order was correct . Tasty pizza ,burgers and chips.. cute delivery driver too lol.

have these bieng took over by new owners as my delivery was totally disgusting...did order and it all came totally wrong even tho cost the same amount...rung up to complain and all i got was whoever talking over me wudnt listen...in the end had to put phone down...never again will i order...
