Restauranten er ombord i et hotellskip og er i fine lokaler. Maten var god og kelneren serviceminded og hjelpsom. Fin vinanbefaling. Ok sted å spise middag, og kommer nok tilbake hit.

Completely disappointed! I bought a voucher for 2 from Wowcher and although it was a voucher, I still spent over £100 on it. Considering its a fine dining restaurant and very expensive, the food was AWFUL! My friend and I ordered 3 dishes, starter, main and dessert. All three were awful! The menu descriptions didn't match the meal itself. The presentation of the food looked better than it tasted! Starter I ordered salmon, and it came out as a weird salmon pate - the starter was the best out of the three but still was disappointing. The main was Lobster Linguine, which both myself and my friend ordered and we pretty much left the whole meal. The lobster was chewy (when its supposed to be soft), and the overall dish was extremely fishy to the point it ruined the whole dish! The dessert, I ordered a chocolate gateu, melt in the middle pudding - to which I was so excited but the cake was BATTERED!! yes battered, like when you get battered fish from the chippy. It was weird as hell and tasted disgusting. I've never in my life had this before and it wasn't written on the menu. What I will say if the service was fab, the staff were so friendly and polite and the view from the Yacht is stunning. However, its an absolute shame that this restaurant is rubbish and isn't living up to the standard its claiming to have. If I had to pay full price for those meals, I truly would have complained on the day!

Overpriced and underwhelming. Visited with wife after recommendation (admittedly from someone who visited a while ago) and found the whole experience to be somewhat of a let down. The food was ok.. although felt very much like it was mass prepared and the standard you would expect at a wedding or mass catered event. The service was most certainly not 5* nor was the ambiance or general presentation of the venue. Really couldn’t understand the justification for a hefty weekend surcharge to be added to the bill for a Friday night! Yes it’s on a ship- although let’s be honest it’s not really is it- it’s more of a hotel that was once a ship- Yes it’s has good views.. but not much more than you could get at many other London venues.. but if I’m honest that’s kind of it! The whole experience just felt a bit tired, over rated and a bit of a let down.

We received a warm welcome from a member of staff leaving the yacht and he used his lift pass to let us on board. Not such a warm welcome from the restaurant staff. However, we were given a window seat with an amazing view of Canary Wharf and the cable car. The food was very good but overpriced and the service was fine. Would I pay full price? No, look out for Wowchers.

That was a senior waiter, (older gentleman) who was extremely rude he actually came across borderline racist. Me and my partner thought that we were treated very differently. He refused to serve us for awhile. We had to wait a long time for our dinner and drinks, and for the most part, the experience was very mediocre. Although we only live in Royal wharf which is around the corner. I highly doubt Who??????? would ever visit this place again. The view around this area is beautiful, but that’s nothing to do with the restaurant or the boat. The glass that they served. My Prosecco in was dirty and there was a weird skin over the very plain tasting soup.

The most over rated place! The ship was nice nothing too fantastic. Food is over priced for what you get. The good thing I have to say about this place is that staff are attentive and friendly. The place is spotless but as I say the food not that great.

Beautiful food well presented starter I had salmon it was amazing then had lamb that was just absolutely the best I’ve tasted, only thing what let it down was it was a little bit cold in the dining area but it wasn’t a bit issue the food certainly made up for that

we went to lands end for our 50th wedding anniversary the ship was amazing when you walk in it takes your breath away the staff were very polite and nice the food was banging (as a chef it was a delight ) when talking to our waitress we mentiond it was our anniversary when our dessert came out the served a small tray oh mini chocolates wwith happy anniversary on it its little things like that that makes the night so good

Staying for one night, we decided to have dinner in the restaurant. It was mid-week so not too busy, with the service being quick and friendly throughout. The food isn't too bad, with smoked salmon and sweetcorn chowder for starters. The salmon was essentially rolled with some creme fraiche and leaves for £16. The chowder was really good and was slightly cheaper. For mains we chose chicken breast and lamb. The chicken was cooked well and full of flavour, the lamb was two small cutlets which were cooked okay, along with roasted veg. The cost of the main course for what you received in terms of portion and quality was disproportionate when compared to higher end restaurants. It was an okay meal at top end prices.

Just to make people aware, avoid if coeliacs. Advised at breakfast that I can have the cereals and they will give soya milk and that everything on buffet is fine apart from sausages (with 300 people using same implements). Cancelled dinner reservation night before because only one thing on menu available. No idea about cross contamination.

We were treated by our children to a meal at this glorious place. Upon alighting from the Elizabethan Line and right next to the Excel Centre was a beautiful ship. Up we went in the lift to reception and then a flight of stairs to the restaurant. I say flight of stairs but I can only describe it as luxurious. Upon arrival we had Prosecco, nice touch. Back to the food, for starters we had prawns with noodles, delicious. Main consisted of Lobster Tagliatelle, wow. Finally, crème brûlée, one of the best that I have ever tasted. We are definitely coming back. You really need to visit this place, like now.

Wife and I were treated by our children to a Ruby anniversary, voucher based, overnight stay aboard the Sunborn luxury liner. Menu was a la carte, quite limited but very nice and, though expensive by our standards, reasonably priced as part of our overall package. Excellent service. I wouldn't say we'd not return (perhaps with friends or family) but, in truth, we'd probably choose another venue if it's just the 2 of us.

Food was tasty and very nicely presented. Staff were very lovely too. My one pretty big gripe and honestly doesn’t sound much but made us feel so uncomfortable was the seating… the chairs were so high to the tables you were eating with a bent over stance it really did make my stomach feel awful couldn’t even fit in a pudding as was so uncomfortable. Also a wider selection of wine would have been our preference.

I have never seen in my life a starter on any menu of 'Bread' I chose this expecting a variety of warm rolls delicately served in a dainty basket, I received 4 door step cold slices of Bread on a small plate to which the whole table erupted in laughter. Meal was okay but Michelin star prices for Harvester style food. The waiter was great and a credit to the restaurant.

I checked in at the edmonton branch of Travelodge in north london On 20th of August for a family function. And was quite surprised to have had alot of help from a member of staff called Gen. She advised about the facilities of the hotel and was most helpful when I needed advice and was calm reassuring.

The boat is beautiful and everything inside it too but the food was ok and not worth the price tag. we got a table and got sat very quickly it was good we were asked if we would like some water for the table so we said yes it came warm and at a £6.50 we then ordered the bread and the olives as a starter I asked the waiter if it was ok to have some balsamic and oil he said it wasn’t a problem then come back with white wine vinegar in a pot no ideas why but couldn’t get his attention to change it then the mains came while we we’re still eating the starters we had the chicken it was very good but again small and not worth the £25 price tag but it was good they then took a while to come and take the plates it’s sad because we spoke to the waiter twice and that was for drinks and for food no check backs done through the whole meal we just feel a little deflated at paying £105 for that the scary thing is it’s £1 more for a bottle of fruit cider with the water being £6.50 never knows a water to be that much. We left but definitely wouldn’t eat there again. The yacht is amazing though.

We were staying one night on the Sunborn Yacht as part of a Tour and a friend had recommended the Lands End Restaurant which I pre-booked. Having read the mixed reviews on Tripadvisor I was a bit apprehensive. However you speak as you find and on the Sunday night we were there I have nothing but praise for the food and the service. We only had 2 Courses and a glass of Prosecco. Main course was Chicken which came with mashed potato, broccoli.and a roasted onion. It had a rich gravy and was very tasty. For Dessert we both chose the Panacotta which was surrounded by a Strawberry crumb accompanied by Strawberry juice. Delicious. The bill was £50 each. This included a 12.5 per cent service charge which we were happy to pay as the service had been unobtrusive but pleasant and helpful. We had planned to have Coffee in the bar afterwards but felt too well satisfied to eat or drink anything else. When we checked in we were asked if we had a Voucher so that might be worth looking into.

As we walked in we were greeted by a lady who looked at us confused. "Do you have vouchers?" Was all she said. Thrown by this we said no and after a little negotiation eventually managed to get seated. We can only assume that this greeting was due to the lady assuming that as my wife was in her wheelchair we were somehow not wealthy enough to be eating in a nice restaurant. We were smartly dressed, certainly more so than some of the patrons who were in shorts and t-shirt. When transferring from wheelchair to dining chair my wife was touched inappropriately and without permission (on her back and backside in an unwanted attempt to help seat her). We both ordered bread selection to start which turned out to be a four piece stale selection of dubious quality bread slices with a smear of shop bought tasting garlic butter. We did not have time to enjoy this mediocre feast however as the extremely rude manager delivered the main course when we were barely halfway through. I explained this seemingly obvious fact but the food was slammed down without further discourse. Not wanting the mains to go cold we abandoned the bready delight and tucked into fish and chips for myself and mushroom risotto for the wife. Both were adaquate, the fish being a little sloppy for my taste, but edible. A granted personal bit I think reasonable further complaint was the fish was served on a small slate rather than a plate. Give me a plate dammit. Our drinks were forgotten and had to be chased up around ten minutes after ordering but the second my fork touched the table the mains were whipped away. I tried to protect my plate on principal, asking (the same) manager if he was trying to get rid of us. He did not respond instead grabbing both plate and novelty slate board and practically running off. After some more time, most of which my wife spent pleading with me to not throw the manager overboard we refused dessert and asked for the bill. The bill came with service charge included and when I questioned this, explaining that I felt the manager had personally been rude he huffed, turned on his heels and removed the charge. No explanation, no apology, no sense even that literally taking a client's plate against their request might be at least a little unusual. At this point you may be forgiven for thinking perhaps the place was busy and I am mistaking breft service with a personal attack. Well dear reader I can assure you the staff outnumbered the diners, although we were by no means the last so neither overwhelmed staff nor a closing kitchen could be to blame. On a significant amount of reflection the only conclusion we have reasonably been able to reach is that they objected to the sight of a disabled person in the dining area and wished to resolve the situation with maximum haste. Please do not make it mistake and eat here. You will receive better service from the local KFC.

I cannot praise this restaurant enough. It had been my son's graduation ceremony as a Doctor during the day and we came here for the celebration meal afterwards. it rounded our day off perfectly. The food was absolutely delicious, five of us with various different meals and not one fault. The service was excellent, friendly & attentive. We sat out on the deck with after dinner drinks watching the sunset over Canary Wharf which was a lovely end to a lovely day. Can't wait to eat here again.

An excellent experience which was enhanced by the customer service , attentiveness and friendliness of the team and the lovely food. It was my anniversary and a small dessert at the end was provided in honor of this. I have no negatives to be honest it was a lovely time.

We had pre-drinks in the bar, it had lovely bar staff and a nice atmosphere whilst we were waiting to go into the restaurant; we had pre-booked the restaurant for my 18th birthday and had asked if they could do anything special for the occasion and were told they could not but could do a dessert and we were not allowed to bring decorations and could only request a dessert. On arrival, we were told when choosing our menu that certain foods did not come with sides (which they did) but we had ordered sides because they had informed us that they did not have the latter. These dishes came up with them the sides anyway after ordering the other optional sides on the menu, when we clearly did not have to do this. At this point, we were most dissatisfied at how our experience at the Lands End Restaurant was going. We decided not to have a dessert, so they came to the table with a bowl of small chocolates which they had stated: “… it would of been put on a desert if we had ordered one”, but due to how our experience was- we just wanted to leave the restaurant. The restaurant was empty, with barely any people and foods such as the steak I had ordered felt undercooked and dissatisfactory despite asking to have it cooked ‘well done’. The chunky chips that has come with the steak felt extremely spicy and should not have been fried to that level. The bread we had ordered as an appetiser was barely edible, stale and the butter that came with it was rock-hard and you could barely spread it across the bread to make it edible. I am very disappointed (and feel terrible for my mother) as she booked this for me for my 18th birthday and we did not have a very good time.

I came here with friends, we were all first time visitors. Friendly prompt efficient attentive service from the waiting staff, classy plush cosy restaurant, very nice food, I would certainly return here, highly recommended.

Lovely venue, great location.... Unfortunately that's where it ends for a venue (Not a hotel review) .....Had a works function here, over 100 persons, wasn't cheap, buffet was sparse, not enough food or choice, not enough places to sit down and eat once you've got your food. Very short on staff for that particular evening.The worse part was the bar, even for London, £8 for a pint is criminal.Friend ordered a standard bottle of Rosé wine and two soft drinks.... £54! Ruined the night, most left early as a result. Shame....

Havde en del problemer med bookningen. Restauranten krævede jeg skulle sende mine kreditkort information (navn, numre, udløbsdato og cvc kode). Det må man aldrig gøre og fik da efter 3 dage overbevist dem om at man ikke bare kan sende disse data.

The food in the restaurant was very good indeed and most enjoyable. Nicely cooked and presented, and nicely sized portions.

Muy afortunado de haber comprado un almuerzo para dos y un masaje en el hotel flotante London Sunborn en East London (lado opuesto del río al O 2 cerca de Excel).

Nos quedamos en el yate y decidimos comer aquí y quedamos muy satisfechos con la calidad de la comida. Entrantes de cangrejo y vieiras, muy sabrosos y bien juntos. Los platos principales de bacalao y cordero nuevamente deliciosos. Pan y mantequilla batida servido en el lateral y pedimos verduras también, que estaban muy bien. Buen personal atento en todo momento y también en el desayuno, 20. 00 cada uno para inglés completo pero con mucho para elegir y muy abundante. Nos lo pasamos muy bien y volvería a visitar.

Visité el hotel Yacht para cenar para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi abuelo. Tuvimos un tiempo maravilloso. Conveniente estacionamiento para discapacitados justo afuera. El personal es muy atento y la comida deliciosa. Nos atendieron Marvin y Limen, que eran maravillosos, amables, educados y muy profesionales. Definitivamente recomendaría una visita.

Just returned from a wonderful family meal outside on the deck of the yacht/restaurant. The staff were accommodating as some of our party was late by 45mins due to DLR problems. Food was delicious. Great atmosphere and attentive service. Excel centre is the nearest venue not Custom House DLR.

A group of girlfriends had travelled from Worcestershire to eat here for a special birthday.. The table was not ready, no apology, no-one serving drinks while we waited; Asked if tables could be put together, they refused although there was no-one else eating! The food was the worst meal I have ever had in London. My dish was embellished with seafood which I cannot eat, could have been very serious if I had an allergy. Coffee was served before dessert and the prosecco for a toast to our host was £40 a bottle and rubbish. A ruined birthday with no apologies.

Fantastic restaurant with views over the dockland. The menu isn’t massive, but there is ample to choose from, with a set menu if you wish. There is a full wine list which isn’t expensive. Service is excellent as is the food. Well worth a visit

The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. We live nearby and I treated my parents to a dinner there without really knowing what sort of restaurant it was. What a surprise we all had. It was absolutely flawless, the food was creative without being extravagant. The staff were lovely, the views were great.

Over priced menu and expensive drinks. Food was nice, service by staff was very good except spoilt by a Female guest and her "friend" at the bar swearing excessively and was not asked to keep her voice down especially as we had our 15 year old daughter with us.

Possibly the worst customer service and over the top pricing I have seen together in one place. If most of your meals are normally delivered, and then consumed out of a box in front of the tv this will be a fancy place to visit. However, if you know how to use a knife and fork and know how to use a cooker and hob yourself you will be disappointed; by the speed of service, the incompetence of the restaurant manager, the lack of waiting staff and the unimaginative menu. P.s and the location looks nothing like the picture.

Me alojé aquí en 1 calle de marzo con la familia con la cena. Dos miembros de mi familia que tienen celiacos recibieron una opción sin gluten con su propio pan. Ambos sufrieron una reacción de contaminación y se enfermaron gravemente al día siguiente. Advertencia a otros huéspedes que deciden comer aquí que fallaron. En espera de una llamada del gerente el domingo, también falló y nunca llamó.

Estamos muy decepcionados con nuestra cena de gala NYE. La noche se arruinó porque el servicio era tan terrible. Una mesa de 5 personas se olvidó por completo y no se piden disculpas sinceras después de llamarles la atención. A las 20: 00 se sentó en nuestra mesa a las 22: 00 todavía estábamos esperando nuestro primer plato. Otros comensales que llegaron después de nosotros estaban en su comida principal o en el postre. Nos hicieron sentir como si fuéramos invisibles, ya que habíamos pagado por adelantado, por lo que no es importante que nos atiendan. No era un menú completo, ya que solo había 2 opciones para el entrante principal y el postre, y había mucho personal visible y no muy ocupado, así que no tengo idea de cómo este servicio era aceptable. Salimos a las 22: 30 después de comer solo un panecillo cada uno. ¡Todos estábamos hambrientos enojados y todavía disgustados con toda la experiencia! !

El excelente servicio entregado por el camarero Bikash, ¡fue una gran experiencia para nosotros! Muy agradable y muy atento. La comida también era genial y se sirve muy rápido. Definitivamente lo recomendaría para ocasiones especiales. El precio era razonable, nos fuimos para el menú de 3 platos, que era de 29 por persona. También puede agregar un lado para 4. 50 cada uno. También tenían buenos cócteles sin alcohol, incluso mejores en el bar. En general, una buena experiencia y aún mejor si tienes un gran camarero como el que tuvimos.

I booked a dinner reservation for my parents 30th anniversary today through a waitress named Salome.

Introduced another couple to this restaurant and they loved it - so did we. The Christmas menu is excellent value for money, and the service from Laura was outstanding. The food is excellent, especially the special starter of Beef Carpaccio and the Chicken Terrine. We all has the Seabass main course that was excellent. See you again.

We stayed at the Sunborn hotel on Sunday 16th December. Whilst the hotel did not disappoint, the restaurant most certainly did.

My Wife and I stayed on the Sunborn Yacht moored at the Victoria Docks London on Thursday 8th for one night. The yacht hotel itself is ideally placed for the O2 and the Excel Centre. Although allegedly only refurbished four years ago the hotel has the feel of a 1980’s Dallas set, gold glitzy and a little tired.

Visited this restaurant for lunch on a Monday and the service was so slow. Waited nearly 45 mins for the food to arrive. Two waitresses and one could not understand English very well. She was so miserable. After 20 mins, the other waitress who was polite came and said the chef was having some trouble but the food would be served soon. 25mins later the food was served and can be best described as average. Coffee was ordered but forgotten not served and we left disappointed. It is all very well for waiting staff to apologise for the delay but the management should do a lot better. We left with a very disappointing experience at Lands End Restaurant.

My first time visit at Lands End restaurant with family and friends. Beautiful, classic decor. The reception area is stunning with a huge chandelier in the middle which has double staircase cascading around it. Very pleasing to the eye.

Went here for lunch and couldn't have made a better choice. The three courses were excellent, the staff were outstanding, especially Laura, and the view from the Yacht is better than within the normal restaurant. See you soon.

The location is great , food is ok nothing to recommend - Cornish Cream tea - 2 home made scones with pot of tea or coffee not bad for £7.95 . Food served 12.00 till 20.45. Paid £6 to park - which is a single one off fee - you could have parked on the road about a couple of miles out and walked - but once your here you just end up paying the fee. Dogs are allowed in the restaurant .

WOW..... where to start. Everything was elegant to T. Beautiful setting for a family of 4. Kids were blown away. The service was beyond expectations from start to finish. Our salmon starter was to die for, Juicy Chicken main for kids, well seasoned fries, melt-in-your-mouth tasty steak (no chewy bits). Desserts were amazing. Sticky Toffee pudding was not too sweet or soggy, passion fruit mousse was just perfect. Well worth every penny. Hats off to the staff who made every effort to deliver an outstanding experience for us.

We were unfortunate in reserving a table when Sunborn Yacht Hotel had booked a wedding reception for the same day. The restaurant was a disaster, we waited 1 hr 30 mins before we were given any food and that was bread rolls, one of the 2 was rock hard and inedible. My Daughters main meal was a burger which we sent back because it was raw in the middle. Fine dining? really? The staff were stretched and failed to make eye contact or to apologise for the appalling service, saying that the wedding was the reason everything in the restaurant was delayed. Once the wedding reception was in full swing we had to endure the overly loud entertainment. By the time we finally ate our dinner, we were so agitated, it was difficult to enjoy the occasion. One waitress who did apologise and tried her hardest to put things right was Samira who deserves a commendation. This was our first and last visit to this establishment.

Good service. Great food. Really enjoyed it. A little pricey. Book in advance as it gets busy. Bar drinks are expensive. We went to the local Tesco which is a 3 min walk away. Bought drinks there to take back to the room. Bought a bottle for the same price as a single.

I booked Afternoon Tea on the Sunborn for my friend's birthday. Upon arriving there were 2 people behind the desk, and a sign asking us to wait to be seated... and wait we did! The staff didn't even acknowledge us, and it was a bit awkward while we stood there. After a good 5 minute wait we were then seated.

My wife and I and two of our grandchildren had dinner here on a Saturday evening and what a great meal we had.

My reviews are always honest and fair. So please don't think I complain frequently.

I have written to the company 5 times on an email address supplied by them, since June and still had no response. Went with a group of friends for a 50th Afternoon tea. Waited ages to be seated - though we had a booking and confirmation text they couldn't find it, waited ages for them to put 2 tables together, waited ages for drinks order to be taken. The waitress argued with me that she had brought apricot jam when it was actually marmalade - had to insist she took it back, she eventually agreed it was marmalade but they had no apricot jam. She did bring 2 tiny pots of blackcurrant jam she said she had taken from the breakfast supplies. How can you not have enough apricot jam for an afternoon tea when you know what the bookings are? scones were miniscule - half were fresh and lovely but the other half were stale - clearly left overs. Sandwiches were nice however shame there were only large cupcakes supplied.

The restaurant itself is not entirely large, but you still have a sense of privacy when dining. The food was fresh and very tasty. The service is also superb. Would recommend especially as the view from the restaurant is second to none.

We took a couple of friends to Lands End Restaurant to celebrate my belated birthday and wedding anniversary, based on recommendation and the impressive website which seemed to advertise a la carte menu, exclusivity, class and strict dress code. We were however disappointed to note that residents of the onsite hotel were bound by the same dress code, as some were allowed to dine in shorts, Tee-shirts and flip-flops. We arrived early for our dinner booking so we decided to have pre-dinner drinks at the Sundown bar where bar waiters were all gathered, standing in front of the bar with their backs to the guests and pretending to be "busy". I had to get up from my seat twice to get their attention. I also found their manner quite cold.

If I could have left a zero rating I would’ve done......but ‘terrible’ is the worst rating trip advisor allows so sadly I will have to over rate it at the level!!!

This restaurant was awful, i dont know who works in the kitchen, but they are undoubtabley in the wrong job.

Had the sirloin steak main and smoked salmon for a starter both were delicious and well presented, brilliant view watching the sun set.

Great food great service great location what more could you want The whole experience was superb. It's like being on a multi millionaires private yacht

Wine disgusting and staff resigned to "this is what it is". I think the staff are fed up of being told how appalling this place is - shame as a great yacht and location

Very pleasant relaxed dinner and very good breakfast. Great service from all the staff will definitely return
