Laki Kane in Islington

We’ve been repeat customers at Laki Kane for many years - it’s one of our go to spots for drinks and food. Tina is always super welcoming, makes sure everyone has a great time and brings the vibes! From the atmosphere to the service, nothing can be faulted. Highly recommended.

We had the most fabulous time at Laki Kane! From start to finish the whole experience was amazing. We went along to make our own bottle of rum (an experience gift voucher purchased as a Christmas gift). Our host for the rum making and tasting was Nick, and he really amplified the whole experience. We had multiple rum tastings with explanations as to how it was made and the history of each sample, we had cocktails which were insanely delicious and then a of course we actually got to make our own rum with the flavours we had chosen. Nicks knowledge, guidance and all round fantastic humour, meant the experience flew by and we came out in high spirits! (Both metaphorically and because we were slightly tipsy!) Could not recommend this experience more. There was a mix of age ranges in our small group, and each and every one of us, loved it. I may have put a return visit, at the top of my Christmas list this year!

Amazing! Highly recommend for Tiki people! The staff was excellent and clearly love what they do. Music made the atmosphere so so fun.

Tina who did my reservation over the phone was the best. She explained everything I needed to know and gave recommendations. I had great night with my colleagues. Birthday and leaving party was great It was Thursday R&B night. Food was great, the DJ did wonderful. We all danced around our table and had fun. The cocktails had a bit too much ice. If I have to give an advice, just ask for less. Recommended!

Had an amazing night out with friends. Customer service from start to finish was superb. Food was extremely tasty and had enough spice for me. I really like the Big Daddy cocktail and their Pina Colada👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽... Overall a great night out and hopefully coming back to celebrate my birthday with friends in December.

Staff super welcoming and friendly, food was delicious and plentiful portions. Drinks were incredible. Would recommend the Jamaican frappe on the cocktail slushie menu - yum!

I bought a virgin experience voucher for a Rum tasting experience with shared cocktail for 2. This place is amazing, we had 7 rums to try, a card to write down what we thought we tasted in each rum and once we had finished we could reveal the actual flavours to see if we were correct. The sharing cocktail was fantastic, definitely big enough for 2 . We also stayed for a drink after, we ordered a strawberry daiquiri & and a mojito, they were the best tasting cocktails we have ever had. We will definitely be back.

Drinks are just full of lice and overpriced. Food is not authentic Thai and overpriced. The starters are ok 7/10 but the mains is a certain 3/10 at best.

it was a lovely place, the decor was beautiful and the vibes were nice and chill for a Saturday afternoon, the first half an hour of the 90 min brunch was however a bit slow we had been seen only once within the first 35 mins and after I made that aware with one of the staff, Gabriel came over and throughout the rest of the brunch was very responsive, quick and very friendly as it was my 25th birthday he also came out with a complimentary shot and the usual little firework with a birthday song which I appreciated. Would definitely come here again and recommend this venue!

Beautiful vibes, however the food was not nice, very bland with no flavour it was a waste of my money tbh, the service on the other hand was geeat!

One of the best nights out you can go to, if you’re not a fan of clubs but like a lively night with good music drinks and entertainment this is the place for you. Great bouncers staff and owners who are all very attentive. Can’t recommend enough.

Went for rum making. It was an ok experience. Thought it would be more practical. Most of the session was the instructor talking & showing us a video/presentation about the history of rum. Cocktails were good. But even with the cocktails I think the experience is slightly overpriced.

Celebrated my Mum’s birthday with a group of friends. She was made to feel so special and we were truly looked after. A huge thank you to Katie who made the booking process smooth and easy. The team are extremely hospitable and make you feel like a VIP!

Went for a birthday celebration and it was a very good choice. The staff were all accommodating and helpful. The food and drinks were good. We all had a very good time and I’d recommend it.

The decor/ambiance & music was good. Servers were pleasant as well but that’s about it. We had a reservation right at opening at 5pm & the food came out cold which was disappointing for the price per person. The cocktails were just purely ice and flavored water.

Sarah was so quick with our drinks. The palm beach swizzle is the bestttt defo try it. If you go to Laki make sure you ask for Sarah she will take goood care of you. Such a vibee 10/10 experience defo come again 😍😍

We went to this bar for the rum making class as an anniversary treat. Great ambience, very tropical, loved the music and very welcoming. We had three cocktails as part of the experience and a range of rims to taste as we were taken through the history of rum. The best part was creating our own spiced rum. Definitely recommend trying it out.
