Absolutely delicious 🤤 and big portions!!Love it

Ordered food via Uber eats specifically requested for no beansprout but surprise both noodles dishes had beansprout in it. I called the takeaway to replace it without beansprout which they agreed to it and 60 minutes has passed now and replacement still isn't here. This is the last time I'm ordering from LAKESIDE CHINESE TAKEAWAY. Replacement never arrived and when called Takeaway was told I would have to pay. Lady on the phone has absolutely no what she is doing does not have any manners whatsoever.

Reliable Chinese fare but would be good if they had a add tip/ delivery charge option on their website.

I went to place a order for my usual meal for 3 people and the price was £44.95 but my usual Chinese I use is king do and the price is £29.40 for the same exact meal

I have used this Chinese numerous times. I really enjoy the food but the app is diabolical (so barely any orders go through the app). The app registered my food as a collection order but I ordered delivery. I got kicked out during the order and had to place it 3 times. I called to find out where the food was and was met by a pleasant girl who explained the issue and I tried to pay for delivery. I gave card details and said I was disappointed in the app which is always quite painful. She said ‘let me speak to the owner’ next thing I get is a ton of abuse from an old lady!!!! She rose me to anger with her lack of customer service!!! I had just tried to pay for their app’s mistake!! Then I got another owner call back when I said I would refuse the payment through the bank. At the end of the day, a mistake happened. I gave card details to pay for their app’s mistake and got abuse!! It is what it is. Good luck if you suffer app problems, because they have no customer service skills when things go wrong and won’t let you speak to explain the problem. I will never use them again after this experience.

Squid was overdone (very tough). Chips were covered in seasoning despite asking for them plain. Chow mein was quite bland.

Me and my girlfriend recently moved walking distance from this plaza, despite mixed reviews we thought we'd try the Chinese takeaway as Chinese is our favourite, we couldn't be more pleased with the food and service, we ordered for pick up, it was quick to be ready and the lady behind the counter was very quick and helpful, and added bonus is the 2 cute parrots inside. Food was perfect and we had a well needed feast to break up the unpacking session we were having!

Absolutely shocking, lucky to even be getting 1 star The duck was dry and had loads of little bits of small bone in. The chicken satay was just.. chicken no satay the sauce was more like a vile hot chilly sauce. The egg fried rice was burnt and extremely over cooked. And for my partners noodles well she had one mouthful and couldn't eat any more. 🤢

I ordered a spicy bag. The chips were soggy didn't get it in a bag got it in a box. Curry was OK. The egg fried rice was greasy chicken was nice too

Rice and Noodles were cold and hard, unedible. Prawns were bland, didn't want to risk it going by the rest of the food... Chicken Balls were pouring in oil. Think I'll give it a miss next time.

Terrible experience do not use this chinese takeaway Most expensive Chinese in Bucks - £36 for 4 dishes, wanted to charge me extra for chilli in a dish, then wanted to charge me £2.50 for prawn crackers (only chinese to do so on an order over £25/30) Picked food up and whole room was smoking/coughing Will not return here

Always a great option for a Chinese, I highly recommend the spicy bag (aka. salt and pepper chicken and chips in a box with chillis) the shop away from the kitchen has parrots which are super friendly and talkative. The staff are always polite and helpful and food is ready very quickly and always tastes fresh.

The food was old, burnt, and tasteless. I couldn't eat it. I do not recommend this place.

Waited over an hour, for it to be cancelled at the latest delivery estimate! We were trying for the first time, not sure we'll bother trying again. No contact from either uber or the restaurant, had my phone on me at all times. I won't be made out a liar as you have many of your other customers. If the driver had knocked for 20 minutes we would definitely have heard it, we were waiting near the front door.

I’ve tried a few other takeaways with similar menu and Lakeside has always been on top with taste, price, quality and quantity. I keep going back to them because the others just fall short. As the song goes, Simply the best, better than all the rest!

Food was warm although some was over cooked and over battered also not enough bbq sauce flavouring.

Lakeside is the only Chinese I will go to in Aylesbury, I have never ever had a bad meal from here, the food comes quickly and fresh, great portion size and always gets finished. I ordered tonight (New Years eve) it said it would take 1.5 hrs but arrived in 45mins. Food was piping. I will recommend lakeside to everyone

Ordered Thai veg red curry. As you can see it doesn't look even close to that and I can confirm that the taste as well far from that. Tofu is rubbery. No more Thai here.

Charged 3 quid for delivery even though I'm 1 mile away and states free delivery. Delivery driver couldn't find house. Food was nice.

Unusually it was rather disappointing. The app said it was ready to collect at quarter to so we arrive and it wasn’t ready to collect until 20 past. Generally we don’t mind waiting for food, but we do mind when we are told it’s ready and it’s not. We then got home to find that we were missing the sweet and sour sauce and the satay chicken we had ordered, but we did have a random dish instead which we had not ordered. Spring rolls clearly microwaved, soggy and tastes weird, rice was dry likely also microwaved, didn't receive hoisin sauce with 1/4 duck, beef with cashew nuts tasted weird, and chicken chow mein tasteless, also likely microwaved. Will never order again

Best king prawn chow mien ever and I’ve tried many over the last 50 years.

Brilliant service as always. I ordered around 19:00 and it Stated it will arrive between 20:00-20:30 and it arrive by 19:30! Always had it delivered earlier than estimated. The food tasted great and I know I will get good quality so I don't go anywhere else!!

The food itself was good. But when the driver arrived I had £40 in cash he did not have a £5 to give me as order was £35. He said he will drop it back within 20 minutes but he never did. So can you give me back the £5

Brilliant staff, collected early and tasty food!

For the first time a little disappointed, as the chicken in yellow bean sauce had no yellow bean sauce in it, did not ring up as meal may of got cold

Chicken satay skewers and Singapore noodles, special mix curry were very tasty

Food was tasty and hot but more like a chicken fried rice as apposed to a special fried rice. No beef or prawns in sight. Disappointing

We were really disappointed. Had good food previously but this time the beef in the Thai curry wasn’t cooked properly, the seaweed was rubbery and tasteless and the prawn crackers were just like pieces of cardboard. Really disappointed as this was a treat for Father’s Day

Good quality food but expensive

Forgot the prawn crackers, sent the wrong chips, have reduced the number of chicken balls. Food is fine but generally disappointed with the experience as it used to be better.

We’ve had numerous Chinese takeaways from Lakeside, always fantastic , today we fancied something different , I had noticed they also served Thai dishes, wow! (other than the wan ton soup which was not quite there) the rest was as good if not better as any Thai restaurant I’ve visited. My new go too Thai takeaway too!

Our favourite Chinese ever, just happens to be our local one too. The food is always top quality here, never had any problems. Never had items missing from a delivery or foods a bit cold when it arrives. We normally go for collect though, they have 2 talking parrots and some tropical birds in the store which we like to go see. Free car park very near by. Definitely worth a visit.
