Lahori Karahi & Chargha in Manchester

Overall, very good and tasty food. Quite generous portions. Specially Naan/Kulcha are superb. Though a bit expensive but worth the price.

The food was average, Waiters we're running around like headless chickens. This restaurant was once the best in manchester but unfortunately not anymore.

Absolute shocking place this, thought it would have improved, it’s got worse, asked for them to bring all the food together they bought out each dish when they felt like it, mid way through eating without even asking they took away the food, while we were still eating, very bizarre place full of stupid people, staff rather talk and be on there phone then actually do there jobs, would have give it a zero star but had to give it 1

We order family platter in starters, lamb karahi and Chicken Biriyani. The kebabs in the platter were good and lamp chops were average, however, the chicken tikka, chicken wings were too dry and all tasted same. We were very disappointed by lamb karahi, did not tasted like karahi at all, the taste was very plane, not at all spicy, was expecting a lot but the it was worst karahi had in uk. Chicken biryani did not had taste of biryani, had lot of turmeric and more like fry rice! Coming to staff -too arrogant, no acknowledgment, no greeting, too bad service. Will not recommend.

My hubby got a portion of haleem. It was so smelly, and sour tasted. I've tried to call them, but due to closing time (still remained 15mins) nobody picked up. Never ever buying food from here again!

Took ages to get the food and after having food we been told its cash only.is it really uk or sick country ,above £50 bill and they want cash.staff was rude as hell like its our fault we don’t bring cash.doggy as hell and council doesn’t care at all

I went last night at Lahore Karahi I order starter and the main the starter was not fresh. Is cold I asked to waiter.your starter not fresh but he said to me we always make fresh but he didn’t listen to me and just walked away is name is Waqas ali and the service is very very poor customer service and when the waiter taking my order he walked away to other customers he was don’t care about me and when he come back he didn’t say sorry to me but I didn’t like this restaurant that are not give good food and good customer service they want to make money only very very disappointed😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡I will ever never go this restaurant I give 0 star

The food was of such good quality and we didn’t have to wait long. Everything was fresh and warm especially the naan, so soft. The service was outstanding with all the waiters being very kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend for families.

The lamb butter Karahi didn’t disappoint was really tasty, but apart from that everything else was mediocre. We tried a full charga steamed with spices that was tasting really dry from the inside and the masala felt like too much just sitting on the top. Their tawwa was quite disappointing too, definitely not having it again, kebabs were half cooked. The place inside can get quite crowded and busier at times.

That was first visit there, was an amazing taste of traditional Desi food.

Never order Lamb karahi single or large portion they will serve you lamb curry instead of karahi, this was said by the waiter after we complained that the lamb Karahi we ordered is not Karahi instead it's just curry with lamb and its cold. The waiter instead of taking it back they said "oh you shouldn't ordered single or large karahi if you wanted karahi you should have been gone with 1KG karahi thats fresh made" like seriously then why it says lamb karahi single portion. Anyway food was terrible and customer service was worst then that. Never going back.

Got 1kg lamb karahi, malai boti and steamed charga. The food was good, lamb karahi was amazing but if looked a bit more would be much more satisfying, malai boti’s portion was a bit small and dry overall okayish. Charga was the most delicious. The price is decent and environment is nice. Nice place to visit

To be honest the Lamb Karahi tastes really good. But hygiene is bad. Guarenteed bad stomach in the morning. Check out the food hygiene rating.

Nice desi food and can’t go wrong

Ordered mutton and chicken Karahi, and they made chicken karahi in yoghurt and onion. Never had karahi like this, on top of this,their server was so rude and stubborn, insisted that this is their famous karahi and told us their customer are visiting from other cities and does not matter if one or two customer dont like it, when ask why chicken karahi masala does not taste like lamb karahi, his explaination was out of the world ‘ because it is chicken so masala can not taste like lamb karahi,. Forget about food but Definitely this guy need training on hospitality and customer service. should named it as ‘HAMARI karahi’ instead of LAHORI karahi.

Amazing food - nothing comes close to the quality of Karahi. Just one thing - please don't use dirty chabbay for the roti - just use a plate or something. They are clearly never washed.

As soon as we got in they took us straight to a big empty table perfect for us. After ordering, the food came after less than 10 mins even though it was so busy. The decorations and atmosphere was amazing, it felt like it was a restaurant in Pakistan. The staff were so nice they even took a picture for us. Can’t wait to visit again :) Definitely recommend!!!

Best people for pakistani fresh karahi. I like lamb karahi, so I ordered one and enjoyed it a lot. Sometimes, when they are busy, they are not able to maintain their standards so yes they know their work but not very strict about standards.

The outside look and ambient was nice, they can improve thier taste a bit!! Portion sizes are not so great also.

Earlier their food was good now their service is very bad the main lahori krahi was not like before its daika was very bad told them the manager started talking so rudely our profession and day was ruined we don't think we will ever go there again For the last 25 years we used to eat there, the barbeque was also very bad, the kebabs were burnt

Visited on a friend’s recommendation, restaurant was busy, long wait, on turn sent upstairs but found staff being very RUDE who despite having 80% empty place declined us seats and asked for confirmation from staff downstairs. Waiting time from order to food was touching an hour which is unreal for what was order. It was my first and last time to place like this. 👎👎👎👎

Had Lahori lamb karahi with my friends. It took time for preparation but was worth a wait.

Had good taste. Lahori fish was not the best, I would say. Although karahi was good in taste. Parking place has problems, especially people parking in wrong spaces leading no space for you to exit on main road which is something to improve.

Very disappointing service went there for iftari order the food wait 50 minutes for our food manager was not professional couldn’t get us the seating we wanted Food quality 5/10 Will never come back

Good food however we sat on on first floor and it seemed a bit Dark maybe they need to sort out the bright lights especially when families come with Kids.

Food they served was not fresh was pre heated. Lahori chany were not even microwaved. Even mixed grill was pre heated . Chops were under cooked and chewey. Chicken Biryani was pre heated and out of flavour. No concept of customer service. Very disappointing . Never again

Probably the best lamb Karahi in Manchester, the meat is delivered fresh daily, and is extremely tender and flavourful. It doesn't have the overly spiced but somehow flavourless and tough meat you get from some other places, this is the real deal. And unless you want to fly to Lahore, this is as good as it gets.

Food was Absolutely really good Lahori Style, best karahi. Only recommendation would be to refurbish and modernise restaurant, especially washroom area.

Fish was very bad no taste and dry I ordered chicken butter karahi tastless Family plater was average I think they have to think about there food and tase never come again and highly not recommended
