Ice creams and drinks were nice but the staff need to smile more

I went there before at Norther quarter and i was a big fan who is always order the float Thai milk tea. As Thai people, i can say it was a really nice Thai tea in Manchester. However, when the shop was opened in Arndale, I bought the same menu twice(to confirm that the taste was totally different from Norther quarter branch) and both of them was different taste from the Norther quarter shop. I think because of they put the lychee pearls instead of the normal white pearls as i've had at the previous time and it is not go well with Thai milk tea. Lychees pearls destroy the taste of the milk tea (it makes the tea sour and disgusting) and also the tea was not strong flavor as the another shop.

Everytime I have a day out in Manchester, I always get something from lazy sundae

Very unique flavours, loved them! Tried the pandan taro ice cream sandwich and really liked it too! Hope to see it on the menu permanently with other ice cream flavours.

The server serving the ice creams sandwiches at the cart with the blonde and black hair was very helpful and good, great customer service, will definitely be coming again.

Best bubble tea and desserts in Manchester!

Must go ice cream shop in Manchester. So sad they discountinue the croffels. But the ice cream and drinks are amazing. The staff are really friendly as well. Strongly recommend Taro and Mango mochi flavour. You can also have a taste if you don't know which one to choose. ☺️

Really tasty Bingsoo whilst waiting a staff came to us and told us about the free taster they are giving, it was really nice and I think they should keep it on their menu

The ice cream sandwiches from the bank holiday special were super nice, and it has my favourite taro ice cream ✨ I always end up getting ice cream, but I loooove the ice cream floats, too. I prefer their NQ venue - the arndale is too loud, not a fault of lazy sundae!! The seating in their arndale venue is pretty.

Got 2 ice-cream sandwiches. Felt pretty expensive with 2 being £15+. Was extremely disappointed as the ice-cream was very soft while the cake part was super hard and still part frozen when the ice-cream has already melted. I know it's a limited time item but I feels like they didn't test the idea at all before rolling it out for a high price. Extremely disappointed, the ice-cream was pretty decent but the execution was a mess.

I had the biscoff milkshake. My disappointment is immeasurable, theres a creams nearby, def going there next time. The milkshake was mostly ice and tasted very plain, barely any biscoff, sauce or cookie. Will def not be trying this again anytime soon.

AUGUST 2024 Throughout August, Lazy Sundae offer 2 for 1 on milkshakes/iced tea/bingsoo with a Summer Scran Fest voucher. You have to choose two of the same type of item (2 milkshakes, 2 iced tea etc) but the flavours can be different. I chose the Pandan Lychee Bingsoo: this is a dessert made up of cream, ice cream, fruit and shaved ice. It came with a small bowl of condensed milk (at least I think that’s what it was) that I saved until the end, to make the shaved ice taste of…something. My overall feeling is that I’m glad I didn’t pay full price. - [NQ venue] A pretty ice cream parlour offering several flavours. I always love to try a new/unusual one and so picked Watermelon and Oat Milk, which did not disappoint. I would go back to try more!

We had lychee kiss and monkey cereal. Both were exceptional. One of my favourite dessert places.

Worst Ice Creams I ever had :(. £4.50 for a scoop and afterwards they tell you those are vegan ice creams! Awful and disgusting!

Food and drink was almost as scrumptious as the staff member called raf who served me 😌 Overall a pleasurable experience and left feeling very satisfied. I will be returning for seconds asap! Great music and vibes as well

I absolutely should not know how and why one of your employees was sacked. I was at Lazy Sundae earlier today, the atmosphere is lovely and the overall aesthetic vibe of the place is so cosey and chill, and the bubble tea was honestly amazing, HOWEVER, as my partner and I sat enjoying all this, two employees; one man wearing a baseball cap and the other who was an east Asian woman with glasses sat down directly behind us and the man then proceeded to loudly sack this poor woman. I can't describe how incredibly unprofessional, and unfair to the female employee this was. I shouldn't know that she was apparently "always on their phone" and "was given multiple chances" before getting sacked while surrounded by customers. I understand there isn't a standard employee room but the food court is literally a 1 minute walk away and would've been a much more professional and considerate place to do this. My heart goes out to the poor woman who was fired because I couldn't ever imagine being sacked and having all the reasons listed very loudly by a guy in an ill-fitting baseball cap who is "just the messenger", while being surrounded by customers and other employees, who also were smiling and giggling as it was happening. Don't know if she'll ever read this, but if the woman who was fired happens to read this; you deserve better than to work for a place that has 3 members of staff working in a box the size of a Victorian bathroom then gets mad when they go on their phone because there's nothing else to do.

during my visit the staff was very rude, as the asian woman who took my order was very cold and the brown girl started screaming at me and talking back angrily multiple times when i came back to return my drink because it had too much matcha and was undrinkable, although i was compensated i was still upset by the way i was treated

Good ice cream but poor service. Ordered a single ice cream cone, and it took nearly 10 minutes to get it. 5 staff behind the counter and 3 of them were talking between themselves or to their mates who came to visit them at work. 3 people served bubble teas before we got our 1 ice cream. When asked if we could get our order, the lady didn't seem bothered and couldn't even find our ticket between the counter to check what we had ordered, too busy socialising. Lots of tables are left with food and rubbish on there, no one really seemed bothered to clear them up even when it was quiet. Seems a fashionable place to go, but basic standards are lacking.

Great selections of milk tea and ice cream. What I ordered today is thai milk tea with brulee, quite sweet and I can taste and the sugar tiny cubes. Looking foward to try earl grey ice cream next time.

So we was coming down the escalator and was pondering around and came across this bubble tea shop and saw something interesting like the taro float and we ordered it was so supposed that they have so many different choices of ice cream to choose from! Will be back again! Good seating area as well to charge your phone.

Honestly the best bubble tea I’ve had ever ! The POM tea is sooo refreshing , the staff is soo nice and give very good recommendations. The fruit teas goes best with Chicken Katsu Curry from Kokoro 🤩

Wow. The best ice cream in manchester with the most adventurous but also comforting flavours. I had the honey oolong cheese foam and it was so good.

Been here this Arndale branch for few times, only this Indian girl served with smiles and greets. Every other times that these Asian girls in cashier and handing out orders are always having a long face with bored rude attitude. No greetings or appreciation at all. Go home and sleep if you don’t wanna work if not then don’t act like you been imprison here.

Delicious unusual flavours of ice-cream, it was a delightful experience to try them! The bubble tea was good but was too sweet and they didn't offer a less sweet option like other bubble tea places. Service was slow - long queue as it was very popular! All in all definitely worth a visit, although the service can be more efficient. Recommend the salted egg yolk, sesame mochi, banana and also the corn ice-cream.

I ordered a drink and the cup was filled entirely with ice and a tiny amount of tea. Servers had poor attitude.

I would give this 20 stars if I can. Gorgeously done ice cream that is definitely homemade (you will NOT find these flavours anywhere else). I love the variety of them and the fact that NONE of them is mainstream and all taste really good blew me away. Super glad I stumbled upon them while wandering around. The flavours also are very Asian inspired - you'll see Vietnamese Coffee, Thak Tea, Taro Cheesecake, Matcha KitKat, Mango Sticky Rice, just to name a few. Service is really great as well and they let you try out gen flavours and are rlly generous with their taster portions. I've never encountered another ice cream joint like them anywhere else it's really sweet ❤️ Actual portions are huge as well. It's 1.5 the size of the scoop you'll find in places like venchi or other "artisan" gelato places. Alrdy planning to come again tmr to try other flavours. Yum!

We usually go to the branch in Northern Quarter where food, flavours and service is always good. but now have started going to the store in Arndale but service not consistent. We love the Bingsu. But not always available. Tried to order Bingsu today (Sat 02/12/23), staff looked at each other and then hesitantly told not available, fine, ordered something else. But then whilst we were having our drinks and desserts saw another couple having Bingsu. So how do staff decide who gets to order something and not others? Treated differently as south Asian rather than east Asian?

The girl who took my order was kind of rude. Also when asking if I could change one of the ingredients of the bingsoo, I was told I could not do it. It seems sth nonsense to me since it was £7.95. Very disappointed.

Finally get to try their bingsu / shaved ice dessert - what a big let down!! Even though the store was quiet ish, it did took a while for the order to get prepared. This wasn’t your typical shaved ice, it’s more like a soft milk ice, I ordered a small (looks big but actually really not much in it!) and I personally don’t think it’s worth it at all! You can get a bigger portion elsewhere in centre of Manchester. The flavour for the sesame bingsu was a little strange, it’s hard to eat without anything falling out, by the time you get to the ice, they’re just milk. The cookie crumbs were all stuck together (again, no room to mix anything up). Certainly does not worth £7.95, maybe just stick with their drinks / ice cream. I had this at the Arndale branch.

Amazing desserts and sweet drinks! Unique selection of flavours and toppings to choose from, my favourites are Cereal Milk and Milo. Menu is vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free. Friendly and helpful staff, offered taste samples to help me decide. Fun and cute space. Perfect for photo lovers. Great for solo or couple dates. Closing times need updating. Traveled 1 hand a half hours to get some desserts after seeing a post on TikTok. Just to find out they are not even open till 9pm although I arrived at 8pm. Total waste of time.

Love the NQ outlet but recently went to the Arndale outlet and had such a bad experience. The guy at the counter (skinny, no glasses, black hair with some white hair) kept serving other customers who came later than us even though we arrived first. He even made eye contact with me and he knew we were there first but intentionally ignored us. I was left waiting for ages, so upset.

Saw one open in Manchester Arndale centre so I gave it a go. Order 2 scoop of ice cream matcha KitKat and sticky honey rice £7. Loved it can't wait to go back to try the other flavours.

Lovely vibes here and they're open fairly late so we got after-dinner ice cream! We tried a scoop of Pandan and a scoop of Vietnamese coffee flavours and they were amazing!

Whenever we’re in Manchester, and whatever the weather, we always come here for ice cream. It’s excellent. The Vietnamese coffee is my favourite. The wife’s is cereal milk. Highly recommended.

Love this place for the freshness of the products and the decor - leaving a review because I wanted to mention how fab the service was from the colleague called Sam tonight - we had issues with our order which seemed to be taken by a new colleague in training, the colleague overcharged us and made the wrong drink resulting in a delay to get our order but Sam was extremely patient with the colleague and communicated well with us to fix our issue, and even offered us a free scoop of ice cream during the wait - really pleasant experience in the end and Sam is a credit to this place, real professional in the hospitality industry Never had a bad experience here until today, but it was quickly fixed and made in to a good experience again

The best bubble tea shop in Manchester! I've tried a few different places around Manchester and Lazy Sundae definitely has the best flavours! They're not too sweet and they don't taste artificial. Would recommend the hojicha oat latte, matcha with cheese foam, or mango milk latte. The desserts are also amazing, the sundaes, bingsoo, or croffles.

Not your usual gelato flavours and we love it. Mango mochi and jasmine milk tea were great, and both of us like taro cheesecake the most. Highly recommend to visit if you are in the area.

Definitely worth trying. Loved the croffle the most and they had a wide selection of unique ice cream flavours. I would definitely recommend coming specially for the croffle. It was delicious. The bingsoo was a nice but plain, I would consider giving customers a small pot of condensed milk instead of a pot of milk, to add a bit of sweetness 😉

Best bingsu I’ve had!! Everything was perfect. Fresh strawberries and mango boba added a great texture and freshness. The mango mochi icecream was really good and creamy and not too sweet. Tried some of their other icecream flavors as well. Taro cheesecake and cereal milk icecream were really nice!

Had a Mango Macho/Machi milkshake. Was light tasting , but enjoyable. The family member I went got a Milo and Taro ice cream on a hot and sweet pancake type of thing. This was also very tasty. I also tasted the lychee ice cream and Mango Machi/Macho ice cream which tasted very delicious. The ice creams are probably the 'go to' items in this place. They have a unique taste and variety. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely wonderful, there's not many independent ice cream places in city centers and this one does wonderful different flavours you won't find anywhere else. Like Milo, cereal mill, taro cheesecake and my personal favourites Vietnamese coffee and Earlgrey with Biscoff!

Absolutely amazing ice cream! Spot on flavours with loads of creativity! My picks are taro, milo and jasmine milk tea! Jasmine milk tea is perfect for summer, very fresh! All of the flavours i tried were good, dont think there will be one thats just meh! The store is extremely busy during summer weekends, but the staffs are very friendly even when there is a long queue!

Avoid, charged £4.50 for a small cup of ice cream that was comparable to a table spoons worth in size, taste was bang average. No one appears to have any idea of how to run the business.

Nice atmosphere! Lazy Sundae is located on Tib Street which is around 12-15 minutes walk from Piccadilly Station. I went to Lazy Sundae on a Thursday evening and it was really busy, unfortunately there were only two staff manning the tills on the busy night so the service was quite slow, I waited 15 minutes for my drink. I ordered a medium Hojichoco Oat Latté for £4.40 which is a decent price in-comparison with major bubble tea stores. The Hojichoco drink itself didn’t taste much of Hojicha and more on the sweet, chocolate flavour. I personally would’ve preferred it to taste more like Hojicha. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere inside the store is nice and vibrant. There’s just enough seating in my opinion but I opted to takeaway. Overall, I wouldn’t order the Hojichoco Oat Latté again but I’ll come back and try their other drinks. A nice place to relax and chill in Manchester but just be aware that orders can be slow during the evening on busy nights.

Cute little ice cream place in Northern Quarter. I especially love the mango ice cream where you can taste some mango pieces. Delicious!

Very rich ice cream, I went with my wife on a Sunday evening. The place is in a side street tucked away, but easily locatable using google maps. I got 2 scoops of ice cream, one jasmine milk and one Vietnamese coffee on a cone, and my wife got the Milo Cruffle Sandwich. Both were so so tasty! My issue at first sight was the price, but upon tasting you actually realize the quality of ice cream you're paying for is most definitely worth it especially on a hot day. Not alot of seating though, so if you have a rather big group of you then you may struggle to sit together if it is busy.

The food was really tasty (I had the croffles with Taro Cheesecake ice cream) and the staff were really lovely and let me sample the ice creams to decide which flavour I wanted.

Was actually came for soufflé pancakes, unfortunately we didn’t know it had gone off the menu. So we choose to try the croffle sandwich, but the 1 we have for me is over toast. The croffle been toast till so thin and crispy like cracker, do not like the texture at all. A palm size croffle sandwich with this standard doesn’t worth the price. About the Vietnamese coffee float, the coffee doesn’t taste great as the Vietnamese coffee we normally have elsewhere. There might be better with other choice, but for those 2 we got is not a good experience at all.

Incredible ice-cream! The mango mochi and lychee are the things dreams are made of. Fill me up a bath tub of that stuff and i'll happily lie in it. Mmhmm

Really cute ice cream place with fun and unique flavours. It's pretty close to plenty of other food places so you could get a delicious ice cream sundae dessert after a good, hot meal.
