The food here is stunning, best indian restaurant around 100% recommend you pay a visit and bring a bottle or a few cans, it's a top gaff and the Murgh Palak is beautiful

Excellent food and the staff are so lovely

We had a nice relaxed 3 course meal, the food was excellent and the staff was brilliant couldn't do enough for you. There was 10 of us altogether and we all had a set meal for £35 per person and you could choose any starter, main and dessert. Would definitely go agile.

Having been before with friends who live locally we came back for my birthday. Last visit was slightly spoilt by the kitchen staff arguing but I am pleased to say tonight was great from the minute we arrived to be greeted by a very friendly and helpful young man who quickly had us seated with the menu "s.Given time to take in the extensive menu drinks and meals were ordered. The meals were excellent and the whole evening went great. Can't fault the service or meals tonight and can't wait to return in the new year.

PLEASE READ..SCUM DRUG DEALER COVER BUISINESS! This is a well-deserved review due to the shame this despicable drug dealer scum brought to his community. This is a pitiful drug dealer business. 👏 If you are not aware the manager of this place and up to 20 Asain dumb lads and supposedly civilised adults set upon 4 tree surgeons who were apparently sticking up for an older lady who was being bullied during a road rage incident. The scum showed no shame or remorse in court, only bringing more shame on their gloomy and self isolated community. They behaved like a group of animals from the dark ages that think they 'own this country' according to one of the comments in the news article about this nasty incident. These people and this restaurant doesn't deserve your business. Be aware of who you deal with and where you take your family to eat because they will all be singing from the same book and blaming everyone else, but those responsible, they won't accept responsibility. I won't be going back here again as the manager of this place instigated it and has no respect for 'White People'. Shame on them and their community, they can't carry on like this and expect respect and business from decent and honest people. Love the food and service but the restaurant is always unbearably cold, so much so I wouldn't choose to eat in, but the evening was for a relatives birthday. Went for drinks afterwards, got chatting to strangers they all said they love the food but order takeaway because the place is always too cold to sit in.

This place is vile absolutely disgusting - the owners are even worse - I wouldn’t trust them to feed a goldfish let alone feed humans ! Proper low life scum be warned

I was a passenger sat in a broken down car outside the restaurant waiting for the AA and they kindly brought us food and drink free of charge. They were so thoughtful and kind to think of us. Thankyou! Also like to add that the food tasted amazing!

We just wanted to leave a review because we broke down outside the restaurant and had to wait in the car 4 hours for the AA to come and whilst waiting they kindly let us use there toilet and even brought us out some complimentary food and drink. Their generosity and kindness was amazing as we weren’t even customers. We really appreciated this and want to thank them especially their manager. Thankyou!

Booked a table for 4 . 3 meals were excellent. I ordered roast chicken chips I recieved 7chicken bites which were over cooked and then later the staff were having a heated debate in the kitchen where there were a few swear words clearly heard which the children in the restaurant luckily didn't hear . Plus the service wasn't as quick as it usually is .

Went here a few months ago and gave them a well deserved 5 stars for a great night out from the staff and the food Tonight was going the same way until half way through our meal an argument in the kitchen meant an outburst of extremely offensive language coming out of the kitchen which slightly took the edge off the up until then great atmosphere. The other point is that there were young children also dining at the same time and don't need to hear such language. So a spoilt night overall, and a message to the kitchen staff, if you want to argue take it out the back out of earshot of your customers.

Ordered a takeaway food was very poor ....far better establishments around that doesn't treat you as a cash cow

I love Baytree restaurant so much, the guy who answers the telephone is so lovely, and accommodating when I ask to make dishes vegan. The service is always great and the food is always consistent and flavoursome!

Went Saturday night for a meal with friends who live locally. Was met by a very friendly and bully young man who showed our party to a table. He took our drinks order whilst giving us time to peruse the extensive menu. The returned with drinks and his order pad, now to say his knowledge of the menu and various options that were available is an understatement and all the time keeping a friendly banter going. Order taken a tray of poppadoms arrived complete with pickle tray. After a short agreed wait the main courses arrived and what a spread, no small portions here. After a short while the waiter returned to check on everything and we were happy with our meals. Four very well fed people left the restaurant that evening, my wife and I are from the curry capital Bradford and the food we had this evening was definitely on a par if not better than curries we get in Bradford, won't be very long before we are back.

There is a good selection of starters, mains, sides and desserts - every dish we have tried so far has been excellent. The service is also very good with the most friendly and welcoming staff !! The restaurant now has a dessert shop / selection at the top " sugar on top" , which is a great touch especially when you're craving something sweet after your meal.

Obviously very popular Indian restaurant not far from the Etihad. I had a £15 happy hour meal which included a starter, main course and rice, so good value. Food was good, service was very good. I chose a very mild curry which i regret, it was a bit bland but I think that was my mistake, should have chosen a different curry. The Lamb Chop starter was really nice. I'll definitely come back and order a Madras!!!

This has got to be the worst curry I have ever had, I asked for lamb and chicken karahi but got something that looked like jalfarazi with soo much onions and peppers...unbelievable. clearly they don't know the difference between different curry's. All I could taste was the horrible base gravy. They are lucky most of there customers would eat anything served to them otherwise they would have to shut up shop and even more lucky that I have to give them 1 star otherwise they should have got 0 stars. What a disgrace to Indian cuisine.

I've been ordering takeaway from this place for a couple of years now. The Habibi Spicy Biryani is the most aromatic, flavourful biryani I've had in Manchester, and their Dhal is very fragrant. Will keep ordering for the foreseeable future!

OUTSTANDING. I’ve been eating from here for the last 5 years, never had a bad meal. By far the best Indian restaurant in Manchester, if not the UK. I would have left a 10 star rating if possible.

Get from baytree all the time corris Ave, to be fair it's the 1st time the order had been disappointing, food was cold and chicken very chewy, I rang up to explain the food was not at its best after spending 20+ pounds, he said OK and put the phone down, customer service skills 0, very annoyed

My hubby and I live locally so we frequent Baytree quite often since moving here. The service has always been fantastic and Baytree definitely hits the spot every time we find ourselves craving a curry. While their prices aren’t the cheapest you are definitely paying for its authenticity and superb quality of food. We have tried plenty of other takeaways around the area too but nothing else compares. We have introduced this place to so many friends and family when they visit - and so often we find them wanting to come back just to eat here again!

Very disappointed in my curry!! Taste like out of a jar from Aldi. My brother can’t get the salty taste out of his mouth. Lastly it came within 15 minutes of ordering 🤢 I will NOT be ordering from here again.

Booked in at 6.20pm ,one couple in ,got our meal at 7.40 ,just getting ready to walk out? No explanation or apology (biggest mistake was not walking out) Presentation very poor ,food absolutely disgusting lamb Balti looked like sick 6 small pcs of lamb in it ? Most of it left Probably worst curry ever and I have tried a few Really needs a major overhaul one kid doing booking ,drinks ,taking orders Atrocious service and food AVOID

Staff unhelpful, from walkin in to being served starter was an hour but no one else in x was extremely disappointed in food, 2 mains was barely warm, will not be going again.

Dined at Baytree on a busy Saturday evening and all I can say is what a fantastic evening!! The staff where EXCELLENT and couldn’t do anymore for us. Everyone was so super welcoming and you could feel such a positive energy on entrance. We could also see the staff having fun and greeting regulars which is always a good sign! We ordered a variety of starters, all extremely tasty! For our main course we went with a few recommendations from the restaurant manager and all 5 of us were super impressed; the butter chicken tikka I will absolutely be ordering again! We will be back and look forward to seeing Haffis and all the staff again very soon😀

Really tasty, not at all greasy and good portions. We had a take away ordered on Uber eats- unfortunately a naan and some onion bhajis were missing from the order, but we called the restaurant directly and replacements for both were delivered within 10/15 minutes along with additional poppadoms, salad and chutneys. Overall very decent!

Tried to complain about a meal being too hot and I was told to sort my head out. I would just like to warn everybody that these are the type of people that you’re dealing with in other words beware where you get your takeaway from.DON’T EAT HERE! Save your money !!!

Had a chicken Karachi last Friday night April 10 one of the worst curries I have had bland watery , over £8 too one star because Sheek kebaab starter was nice, only went there because my usual takeaway tspoon on Ashley lane moston was closed

Went there tonight for a birthday, the food was lovely, there was 16 people and everyone enjoyed the food, the young man serving was so polite and happy, he made me and my family want to go back, it was a nice experience.

My wife and I together with our eldest son and his partner had an excellent meal at the Baytree. The food was good and very good value for money with the Happy Hour menu. The staff were courteous, efficient and friendly which added to our enjoyment. There was a large birthday party in the restaurant at the same time which did not impact on our meal which was due to the efficiency of the staff. Will return soon.

I visited the restaurant last week with my work colleagues, I have come here on a couple of occasions when I’m in the area or I fancy a good Indian. The staff as always are very friendly and charming, they come over and ensure that we were relaxed and everything is up to scratch. I would say it’s one of the best Indian food I have ate and the price is very reasonable and affordable. I am aware that there has been a lot said in the papers in regards to two of the workers at this restaurant however I would like to remind everyone that the media like to make prints and likes to sell stories. Don’t believe everything that’s is said and don’t let their actions affect the Restraunt and the workers that work here. I think it would be really unfair for any of us to comment on this situation or the people still left at the Restraunt as they are innocent people being caught up in this. I think we should give them a chance. The food is really amazing and I’ve still not had a bad experience. The staff always ensure that the food is to our liking and the atmosphere is relaxing. I will be going back with my family in two weeks.

Been looking fir a good takeaway curry for a long time, order beef karahi beef curry,lb chops amd keema naan and it was delicious, curry tasted fresh and spicy will definately order again, gorgeous food

This is a great, little restaurant operated by a team who really know how to look after the customer. The choice of food is well above average and the taste is exceptional. Visited on a Wednesday evening and the bill came to just £30 for two including drinks. Well worth another visit. Definitely 5 out of 5 stars...

Mis amigos y yo somos clientes habituales de esta casa de curry y he tenido la comida para llevar unas cuantas veces. La comida siempre es deliciosa y porciones generosas. El reparto de arranque y main a las 12. 99 tiene una fantástica relación calidad-precio, aunque las bebidas son del lado querido y yo prefería que tuvieras la opción de tomar las tuyas. El personal es amable y acogedor y muy servicial. Yo recomendaría a cualquiera.

Been going here 4 years and food has always been great. Decided to book in for christmas to try the sit in. On the phone they said I had to come in to pay £20 deposit that goes towards meal. I go in pay it and get told the same. Week later its bill time and its like £70 when im expecting £45 at best. Pay it and later at home I call them to question it. I get told on the phone their was a £20 booking charge. I explain no one mentioned this at anytime. They didnt care. Nice one.

Great Indian restaurant. I always get a personalised service if I phone or walk in with their recommendations. A real favourite of mine with authentic tasting curries. I've since downgraded to 4 out of 5 stars due to finding their cheese nans have little to no cheese in it which you pay extra for. I've been to another Indian restaurant where the cheese nan was what you'd expect when you order.

Pedimos desde aquí por primera vez esta noche. La comida era de 10 minutos más tarde de la hora estimada de 50 minutos, que no fue un gran problema, pero después de esperar tanto tiempo nos dimos cuenta de que algunos de nuestra orden era falsa. Pedimos dos chutneys de mango y una cebolla con el poppadoms chapuzón, pero nos dieron dos de menta en vez de salsas, lo que significaba que la mayoría de los poppadoms fuimos a residuos. Uno de los panes naan pedimos faltaba pero teníamos samosas que no pide, que me imagino que alguien faltaba. Lo difícil es conseguir un orden justo? La comida estaba bien, las gambas puré era muy agradable pero el curry era normal. No pedir desde aquí.

Mi esposa y yo, mi hijo mayor y su compañero tuvimos una segunda comida en el Bay Tree. Esto fue tan bueno como el primero. La comida era excelente, el servicio fue muy cortés, eficiente y amable. Yo, personalmente, soy un converso tardío a platos indios, pero me han impresionado mucho los platos de este establecimiento. El costo de una comida para cuatro personas fue muy razonable por lo que teníamos. Esta segunda visita definitivamente no será la última.
