The food was great, especially the tender lamb—it was delicious! However, the atmosphere was just okay. It was quite humid inside with no air conditioning or proper ventilation, making it uncomfortable. The service was also just alright, nothing particularly noteworthy. They really need to invest in air conditioning because there was no air flow throughout the place.

Friendly service coupled with authentic Lahori food. You must try their Lahori chana, with fluffy naan - all freshly prepared. The channa tasted like you are eating them in Pakistan. Spiced perfectly the Lahori way!! Clean place to eat while you’re visiting Ilford Lane

I had an amazing breakfast experience at Lahore Darbar restaurant on Ilford Lane, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Shabaz. He was incredibly respectful and attentive, making the meal even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Wanted to have a solid brunch. What better place than to try a Lahori Cuisine. Centrally located. We ordered Tandoori Roti, Butter Nan, Lamb Kebab and Haleem. All were at par. Little bit oily, can reduce it. Taste was nice, service was quick and the personnel polite and humble. Place could definitely be more cleaner. Presentation could be enhanced a lot. Price is very optimum. If these things are taken care, it's sure to be 5* eatery. All the best for the team to reach it.

So we had a nice experience, but the absolute best was definitely the NAAN bread, it was completely amazing, the haleem was good and also the maghz nihaari, could’ve been a bit more salty, but that was not an issue to solve. I would definitely have given a five star rating, but due to the past reviewer who had a bad experience with someone being rude that I see as something that everybody needs to improve even though I did not have this experience myself.

Their Brain Nihari is too good, its high quality too but the only issue is that the quantity of the brain meat is very little but overall they are too good, its a 5 star

We Pakistanis are not 'Badnam' without any reason. There are many reasons, but one of them is that we do not respect each other. It seems that when we have more money, we start disrespecting others and fail to value them. This was my experience last night when I decided to dine at a restaurant. The person highlighted in the picture was very rude to me right after I entered the restaurant, signaling aggressively that there was no space available, even though I saw a table becoming free. Another staff member from the restaurant then approached me and asked me to wait as a table was becoming available. I waited outside until the table was free, then entered and again the same person rudely told me to leave as there was no space, despite the table being empty. This is not the right way to treat customers. You guys should learn customer service first. How can one person from the restaurant ask me to wait while another rudely gestures to leave? In the end, what impression will we leave? These are our fellow Pakistanis.

Ask for lamb biryani was fully sticky and bad smell was coming.

The guy with the mustache and beard he’s bit healthy, needs to know how to talk to the customer. First I call the restaurant I ordered him Naan he declined the order. Then I came to the store told him I need this naan’s. Straight away in very rude way he said to me 20 mins. Nothing hi hello or sorry we gonna take this much time . Pls pls tell him to talk to the customer nicely. But the food is literally banging🔥

Quite disappointed, the chicken karahi wasn't fresh and the taste wasn't very nice. One plate of biryani for £6-7 and wasn't worth it 😕 the toilets were not working and the staff wasn't polite.

I am never gonna come in this restaurant ever again. Very Poor behaviour from the staff even i asked second time for the Rooti and they were like, "why are you annoying us again and again" I came here for second time and i receive the same response.

The eating area is a bit small and parking is also an issue. The front food display needs to be organised as they were all over the place, especially the serving spoons.

PLEASE Do Not eat their curry dishes. I had food from there 3 times and Everytime I got a VERY bad stomach. I had the curry dishes when I went there and Honestly my stomach has never been this bad. Had food there 3 times and 3 times I felt ill. Never going back there again.

Very nice food, got a takeaway. Tandoori roti and naan was nice. Chickpeas curry and chicken was delicious. Spinach is also nice. Kebab wasn’t too great but the rest made up for it. Traditional Pakistani cuisine and with the competition they have in ilford lane, they’re doing well.

Tasty traditional curries - full of flavour. The temperature was freezing outside and the restaurant was unsurprisingly slightly cold - the heating could be better. The customer service was good but there's room for improvement. The prices are reasonable for the location. They serve a halwa dessert on the house which is a bonus and rounds of the meal nicely. The decor and cleanliness could be better. Ultimately- the food was great and for that alone it's definitely worth a visit.

Nothing special and not worth the price.

As a bunch of friends, we gather here from time to time, to catch and grab a bite to eat. A very good selection of dishes, from your curries, grill food, breads and rice. The dishes are priced very reasonably well. The live black pepper karahi is a must try. All in all, a good place for somewhere low key, with hearty food.
