I met my friend for lunch for the second time at Lady Grey and yet again we had a great time. The food was lovely ( sandwiches chosen ) and we had drinks of course. On arrival a glass of water was given ( hot day and I’m sure I was bright red)!!!

This has become our favourite little tearoom in Wendover. The food may be simple but is fresh and beautifully presented. The loose tea served in a pot with china cup and saucer is just perfect. There is a good selection of teas and coffee. The cakes are homemade and delicious and the afternoon teas are a treat and very reasonably priced. Finally, the family who own the business are most welcoming, friendly and efficient. What a super little tearoom.

I met up with a group of friends for Elevenses and thoroughly enjoyed it! This venue is tucked away, tiny, quaint and charming. I had the scrambled eggs on toast, which was excellent, accompanied by a pot of Early Grey tea, which was lovely. Had my sons Sip and See Tea Party here last week Saturday. Tori and her team were amazing. They went out of their way to make sure my close friends and family were all catered for. They bent over backwards to ensure my gluten free guest didn't feel left out and there was plenty of food left over to take home for my husband. The menu is extensive and the drinks menu was vast. The waiter and waitresses were very friendly and smiley. The only downside (if I had to say something) was that I would loved to have stayed longer, but the tea room was closing at 4pm.

3 people 10.75£ Bottle orange juice usually 85 pence supermarket probably 2.20£ at least. Gluten free scone good idea. Cake lavender and earl grey tea. Not at all good. The tea was just ground tea leaves and / or very strong lavender. Very dry Most cake everywhere is a rip.off for the price you pay. I mean how much does it cost to make a cake? Not exactly expensive ingredients. So why are we paying 4 £ often a slice. Should be 2.5 at the most. So the whole menu and experience should be made better.

Came for Afternoon Tea with two ladies yesterday to celebrate my friends Birthday. I was a little disappointed having read the good reviews. There was a mix up with our sandwiches, despite emails discussing requirements beforehand. We swapped a few, which were lovely, we enjoyed these and it was nice to get some salad and crisps also. The staff were very helpful. Sadly the scones were dry, and we didn’t receive any cake. Our crockery wasn’t cleared away after each course.I don’t think the Birthday girl was too impressed with my choice.

On Friday afternoon I was browsing the shops in Wendover with some friends doing some Christmas shopping. The rain was starting to get heavy, and we decided to take a late lunch. it was then that we stumbled upon a delightful tearoom in a little courtyard by an antique shop.We were pleasantly surprised by what we found, a little gem of a place "The Lady Grey tearoom." It's a very warm and friendly establishment serving all sorts of delicious cakes, sandwiches and afternoon teas, homemade soups and quiche (today there was a curried parsnip soup, perfect on a winters day). We were impressed by the wide choice of teas they have along with good coffees and all the usual soft drinks. Tea came in a china pot with vintage china cup and saucer. All the food was delicious, with the highlights being the homemade broccoli quiche and a to-die-for carrot cake which was made to the owners personal recipe. In the days of fast food outlets and coffee bars, it was so lovely to spend some time with friends in such a lovely place. Arrived on Mother’s Day and was told by the lovely young staff that they would struggle to fit us in due to the level of bookings! Unfortunately neither did the staff on the day have any clue that bookings were allowed until the day and was equally as confused as us! After researching to go for afternoon tea for my birthday my friend chose to treat us at Lady Grey last Saturday afternoon. It is a lovely little court yard coffee place but unfortunately the service was poor. We ordered savoury and mix(sweet & savoury) afternoon tea with option of Ceylon and English Breakfast tea. The English Breakfast tea was too weak looks liked pee water. So we asked the waitress about it and she was quite abrupt with the response saying ‘It is English Breakfast tea’ and walked off. There was no concern of asking whether we wanted more tea leaves as it is too weak or anything and lacked full customer service! I think she was the one who was in charged that day. Also they forgot to give us the Cake with the sweet afternoon tea, at the end we couldn’t be bothered to ask for it & didn’t pay for the cake. One good thing was the scones were very scrumptious. There was no mature staff and the staff looks very young. Also the service was very slow. Some serious customer service training for all the staff is needed if this café is to continue to succeed!

I had been here before and it was so nice and authentic. That is why I suggested it to my friends. The Tea Room was chilly not cosy. The 2 girls serving were lovely, but seemed to struggle with, what was a small number of customers. Quiche and salad was more like Quiche with few bits of salad on a very small plate. My chicken mayo sandwich was disappointing as it was slices of processed chicken with some mayo. Not what I would expect from this type of restaurant. The cakes on the other hand were lovely. Lemon Drizzle Cake was a little dry. Score with Jam and Cream. Really good as was the Coffee and Walnut Cake. Walnut bits would.be better than a whole walnuts. I really wanted it to be like the last visit, but sadly it fell short. I had my coat around my legs. Heating needs to be looked at.

Appearances can be deceptive. We actually walked past this café, but doubled back because on a hot day we wanted to sit outside. The café is situated in what looks like a shed with a conservatory attached, the loo is outside and two doors up, the patio overlooks the carpark and the outdoor tables really needed a wipe down. So our hopes weren’t too high for the Lady Grey Tea Room. But we were very impressed by our cream tea! We were told that the lady who normally makes the scones was on holiday, so our scones were made by another lady in the village. Well, she should get the full time job! Never failed to please us. Always made very welcome. Food excellent, best salmon and scrambled eggs. A good ploughman’s as well. My wife is a discerning tea drinker and loves the selection available. Proper tea and no teabags here, so be prepared to use a strainer.

Chose this one as had an outside area away from cars and high street, so was nice to sit out in the sunshine. Not the friendliest place I've visited. Couple of tables remained uncleared, we had to move stuff onto another uncleared table. Shame they don't come to u to take orders and at same time take used stuff away. U also have to go up and place order. Food was quite nice. Homemade sausage rolls were nice, just a shame they're reheated in a microwave which makes them a bit soggy and chewy. Quality of sausage meat was good. Just feel its such a small cafe they could take advantage of making it more friendly, welcoming and tidier.

A tiny tea room just off the high street which could easily be missed but would be so sad if you did! Today two of us stopped off for afternoon tea as we were enjoying a leisurely stroll in the sun. We both had eyes bigger than our bellies so ordered far too much resulting in both taking our cake home the sweet & savoury. Which consisted of sandwiches, scones, drink, crisps and cake most impressively it only cost £12.95

Just been to the Lady Grey Tea Room in Wendover for afternoon tea with out friends from Canada. This small cafe tucked away off Wendover High Street is a gem and easily missed, so please make sure you find it if you want great food including home made scones cakes and sandwiches. Look for the antique shops at the top of the high street - you will not be disappointed.

Great little tea room for afternoon tea. Cute decor. Not many tables and is a small place but I think this adds to how adorable this place is. Amazing scones!!

Came in with my partner and our two boys aged 11 and 14. It was a wet Sunday afternoon, and a large group of walkers had just gone in ahead of us. We were offered menus but when I asked what types of cake were available the waitress just said there were lots and to go and look.

Not for the first time have I visited this superb tea room before or after visiting the adjacent antique centre. Although very tempted by the range of delicious looking cakes on display, I opted on the most recent visit to try the cheese scone; served with a very tasty chutney, I was certainly not disappointed. On each and every visit I have found the staff friendly and efficient, the food and coffees good value for money.

We called in here on our way through Wendover, and felt entirely unwelcome. We sat at the table next to the 'counter', but didn't realise we would have to stand up to order. We had some menus dropped onto the table, but not a word of welcome was uttered. I asked about the soup of the day, and received my answer, but whilst one waitress was outside in the shed (having left the door open for a considerable time, and it was cold) the other one stayed behind the counter. At no time did anyone acknowledge us, or ask us to let them know if we were ready to order. After about 10 minutes we left. This appeared to go completely unnoticed too. We then found another cafe over the road, which was much more welcoming, and if ever passing through again, would choose that one first.

Makes a refreshing change to find a quaint tea room rather than a chain run coffee shop. The service is excellent friendly. You are treated as friends rather than customers. The food is delicious. I especially like the large sausage rolls.

We always call in to this pretty tearoom when in Wendover. The businesses there are so individual and this is no exception. We love the sausage rolls, but there is also a good selection of light snacks to choose from and great cakes. Most of all, the staff are friendly and welcoming and we can take our little dog in with us.

We’re frequent visitors to this lovely little traditional tearoom. The very personal service and friendly staff make it a real treat. Great cakes and the best scrambled eggs in Bucks!

On arrival we were left for a considerable amount of time sat at the table. We were only acknowledged properly when I got up to make an order. Especially as they are a small tearoom, you would expect them to make us feel welcome as they would know we are new customers.

Really sweet little cafe, not quite on the main road as the address suggests but tucked away in the courtyard. Staff were friendly enough, food was tasty and very reasonably priced. I was a little cold but not sure if that’s because they’d not long opened. Worth a visit

We came across this little gem when out for a walk in Wendover. Although the outside seating allocation was full due to the lovely weather, we easily found a spot inside. We both ordered the large breakfast, which arrived promptly. For the price, you got a very good portion. The black pudding was very tasty, the hash browns were perfectly crispy, the bacon was meaty with a nice margin of fat for flavour; also, perfectly cooked eggs, well cooked sausages etc. The food was piping hot too. Our only criticism would be the use of semi-skimmed milk. Recent studies show that full-fat dairy products are protective against diabetes, obesity and heart disease. Large numbers of people and cafes are switching back to whole milk. I recommend you use whole milk too for health and flavour reasons, as it makes coffee etc. taste much creamier and you need less of it!

Couple plus adult son. Booked in here as a motorhome stopover. Table booked for the evening. Landlord was happy for us to park up with permission in the morning so we could spend the day with our son who’s moved in locally. Lovely olde worldy country pub. Clean, friendly, proper home cooking & prices. Play area for kids outside and covered seating also outside. Peaceful nights sleep on sloping grass. Defo recommend and defo return.

A lovely 2 days stay at Hartwell House Spa. A beautiful house in exquisite grounds. The spa facilities are top notch and the treatments exceptional. If you book a massage, Christine is your girl! I asked for a deep tissue massage and got a deep tissue massage...that's rare! Beautiful accommodation and delicious food. We will be back!
