La’De Kitchen Sunningdale in Windsor and Maidenhead

2 of use went on Friday night. Food was OK, if a little overpriced at £21 for a mixed kebab with chips. However, the place was almost deserted. Only 4 tables occupied (including us) when we arrived at 7.30 and no one else came in by the time we left an hour and a half later. Decent background music couldnt help overcome the fact it was almost empty so atmosphere was somewhat lacking. Service was good as there were almost as many staff as diners !

Food and service were excellent as was 'Ali' who looked after us from the moment we arrived. We had the platter for 3-4 people which was plentiful for all 4 of us. I've only given a 4* for atmosphere purely because it was a very quiet lunchtime. Can't fault this place, we'll certainly be back.

A first time visit & was one to remember! Great service from Ali the manager & nothing was too much trouble. We ordered the sharing platter between us which worked out perfectly so everyone got to try a bit of everything was perfect food in a lovely setting without feeling rushed so we could catch-up. Keep up the great work!

Been here on a number of occasions with the family and always been made to feel welcome. Staff very professional. I would not listen to the recent review as we were here on this occasion and witnessed this situation. The manager was not rude, he offered advice about booking a table in future bookings as the restaurant is busy at weekends. He was friendly and professional as always. Lovely place and lovely staff.

Had a lovely meal here this evening. As a table we shared hot mezes. Each dish was delicious and the prawns were so good we ordered more! Cocktails were also lovely. There is a large selection for non gluten diners and they ask about allergies in advance. The team in here are fantastic, full of personality, enthusiasm and smiles all night long. Well worth a visit!

RUDE RUDE RUDE ..........Clearly the staff doesn’t know how to run a restaurant and no attempt to please any customers, insults and over all dam rude and at the end they tried to put extra drinks on are bill. A birthday celebration not worthy of the money we spent which left my family upset.. In order to have a repeat business you would need to change management or training school to learn some skills in running a restaurant and customer service .. As we have been to two different restaurants and really enjoyed are experience at la de kitchen so with regret we will no longer be dining there anymore ...... as for the food well under par

We arrived at the restaurant and despite seeing several open tables, the manager was very rude and dismissive when we inquired about being seated. He insisted on reservations, which was a stark contrast to our previous visits where walk-ins were always welcome. Unfortunately, the overall atmosphere felt unwelcoming. The staff, including the manager, seemed stressed and unfriendly. When I politely requested to speak with the manager to clarify the seating policy, he responded in a curt and arrogant manner, simply stating he was the manager. This experience was particularly disheartening as we've been patrons of your restaurant for number of times and have always enjoyed the food and welcoming service. Unfortunately, due to this recent incident, we will not be returning and will hesitate to recommend your establishment to others, especially fellow families of color who may be looking for a welcoming dining experience. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration and strive to ensure a more positive and inclusive environment for all your guests.

Had put in a complimentary review previously, but had a bad experience with the staff today. Went for a family meal and they had multiple tables free but the manager was very rude and said to book tables in the future before you come. Felt really unwelcome as his arrogance was on a different planet. I have been numerous times and the staff have always been good but today the stafff already looked angry and flustered or maybe my face did not fit. When asked for the manager was rudely told you are speaking to him. This was a local resturant for us but will never visit again and would recommend that people of colour do not visit as apprently our faces do not fit the ambience.

Really enjoyable evening. The food was all delicious, great choice for vegetarians as well. The lamb dishes were great, portion sizes were good. The staff were extremely knowledgable and friendly. Highly recommend.

Meal is ok nothing special , i did not find the food that flavoursome , but it was ok. My partner enjoyed it. 3 star because one of the waiters probably the manager was a bit off ,not very polite. Bearing in mind we were the only customers in the restaurant at the time you would have thought the waiter(she) would be more attentive. She needs to turn her frown upside down

It was my mums birthday and the staff treated us so kindly and are very welcoming. We had a lovely time and the food was awesome! Definitely will be back again soon!

Generally the food is ok. The service is quick but not particularly friendly. Why the low score? I had a burger this time and it’s tiny - the beef is the same size as a McDonald’s 99p burger. I raised it with them, but they really didn’t care, so just putting this here to let people know.

Brilliant restaurant. Went for lunch with my partner, loved the food and the ambiance, the staff are brilliant. Now we can say we have a good family restaurant in Sunningdale. Really loved it

Really good food, and friendly staff. We enjoyed eating here. It was a shame it wasn’t busier, but that will come in time, I expect. Service could have been a touch quicker, but it didn’t spoil a lovely evening.

I'm a very fussy person so this is the first time I've been to a Turkish restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing I can't fault it one bit. There was a group of us so we ordered different dishes so we could all have a taste of each. I don't eat seafood, however, I tried some octopus but it was very thick and rubbery not my cup of tea and the calamari which wasn't to bad, reminded me of fish fingers. The main course was absolutely mouth watering 😋🤤. The atmosphere was good, the service was fantastic and our waitress was fabulous. If ever I'm in the area I would definitely return. I definitely recommend this place.

Wasn’t terrible but wasn’t great. Cold Mezze platter to share was nice - Mains very disappointing, Parma ham on pizza was replaced with 4 rolled slices of cheap cold sandwich ham which we sent back, Chicken was uncooked and inedible both items removed from the bill and we were offered a slice of baklava and Turkish tea. Service was pleasant enough but service charge was a little on the high side. Would probably give it another go but wouldn’t rush back.

We enjoyed a tasty lunch here on my birthday. Lamb Beyti and Chicken Guvec were full of flavour. Waitress Narin was very helpful. Excellent service.

The restaurant was recommended to me by someone I know and as I love Turkish and middle eastern food I was keen to try. I took my mother there yesterday and was rather disappointed. We opted for a selection of mezze dishes as it was lunch time. Most of the food lacked flavour and the vine leaves tasted as if they had come out of a jar/tin. The most disappointing was the goats cheese balls accompanied by a raspberry sauce which came as a squiggle on the bottom of the serving plate. The sauce was reminiscent of that which is poured over a MIster Whippy 99 ice cream. It really was unpleasant. None of the items we chose gave the impression of being homemade although, as the restaurant is part of a chain it is perhaps to be expected. I shan't be returning- sorry!

We had a wonderful experience at the new La’De in Sunningdale! The restaurant has been tastefully done, the food is authentic and delicious and the staff were really impressive - professional, polite and welcoming. There was a nice buzz in the restaurant while still feeling relaxed. The portions were generous and the team went out of their way to accommodate us and our little boy. We’ll definitely be back!

Had a brilliant birthday lunch here today and would thoroughly recommend it, the food was absolutely delicious. Also was brought a surprise cake with candle and the lovely waitress even sang happy birthday :) The staff were attentive and friendly plus the music was really good! Perfect day. I’ll be back soon

Excellent. Over the years this site has consistently disappointed and the restaurants on it have closed down. But now there’s a restaurant there which looks like it’s going to deliver. Great Turkish food. Friendly and welcoming service. Really hope this continues.

We had a lovely early dinner with friends on Saturday evening. Staff were friendly and all the dishes we tried were excellent, really tasty and perfectly cooked. We'll be definitely visiting again.

We popped in for a quick bite and to check out the menu for this new restaurant in Sunningdale. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly, welcoming and professional. We are very much looking forward to our next visit and are delighted to have such a lovely spot to visit in Sunningdale.

My husband and I were the first customers on the first day opening of the restaurant today. Yes, there were some teething issues, which was to be expected but the staff were friendly, and when the food came it was very tasty with good portion sizes. La De Kitchen is a welcome addition to Sunningdale and we hope it does well.
