La Vlad Restaurant in Sheffield

I went here as someone recommended to me this place , food was really nice , good value for money and nice atmosphere. 👌

Every meal we have ordered from La Vlad has been delicious. Delivery is fast, and they give the meals a personal touch, recommend it to anyone fancying a pizza, sausage/ grilled meat, and the Papanash is amazing!

Ordered a takeaway from La Vlad and it arrived promptly, piping hot and was simply delicious. Very polite and likeable staff.

Amazing food, my partner and I both had pizza, cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. Priced very reasonably and fast delivery, covid safe and staff polite.

Their food is absolutely delicious, and always promptly delivered. Would highly recommend it and looking forward to order again.

We randomly walked into La Vlad tonight and came out feeling very satisfied and glad that we had made the right choice. The skinless sausage and pork collar meat are amazingly good and tender. Our god daughter is a vegan but there were surprisingly a good selection of option such as wild mushroom soup and aubergine dip for her as well. The staff and owner were so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely go again.

Took me about a month to write the review, but here we go. Visited the restaurant when was called Sfinx, had a very good experience and left a 5 star review. Visited now, when is called La Vlad and my experience was at least as pleasant as before. We visited on a Sunday and the place was packet, some sort of celebration taking place. We've managed to get the only free table left, good we spoken to the owner in advance to reserve it for us. Despite the fact the place was busy, the waitress had time to deal with us. She was very pleasant and during our meal she stopped a few times to check how things are with us. We really felt welcomed. With regards to food, I had as starter the tripe soup, which is a very Romanian dish. I am Romanian and this is one of my favourite dishes. It tasted exactly like at home in Romania. My wife is English, she had the aubergine paste and she really liked it too. All served with fresh bread made on site. As main, we both had the same, a traditional stew served with polenta. Again, very tasty and authentic. For desert, we shared a Romanian cake baked on site, again, in my opinion better taste than the ones I had in Romania. The menu is not only for Romanians, there is a variety of choices to suit any nationality. The prices are good too. Overall, a very good experience, we liked the food and we were treated as expected, if not even better. I know the owners, they work hard to please the customers, so my advise is to go and give it a try, will worth it!

We just randomly planned a dinner evening on (24/1/2020 )and ended up in this lovely little place. We were welcomed by their lovely hostess (dint catch her name) as we told her it was our first visit to the place, she explained the whole menu correctly so we could decide what to eat. The service was fairly quick and the food that was served was extremely delicious and made with utmost care by the chef. We had little chat withy e owner of the place he is a guy. Then came the desserts we ordered the national desert n a a very chocolately dessert again the name I don’t remember . Both were home made at restaurant you could tell jus by they way they were presented and tasted. It was me f the chocolate dessert I have had in very long time. Will visit again

Drove up with a friend from London to visit my daughter and we tried out La Vlad. What a lovely place. We were 'Romanian food' virgins but our fab (sorry didn't find out her name) waitress explained what was what. We all tried something different and we all loved it. Next time I'm up in Sheffield I'll definitely be visiting again!

Called in for a a birthday meal after seeing a glowing review in a local magazine. They had it completely right! We were immediately made to feel welcome, settled into our seats with both drink and food menus and advice and suggestions given. Food was incredible, freshly cooked, nicely presented and delicious. Between courses we got to have a chat with the owner who again made us feel at home. Wrapped up with dessert, it's worth a visit for this alone! Could just about manage a tea and coffee afterwards! We got given some fresh bread to take home, it was easily the nicest toast I've had in ages. Make sure to pay this place a visit, you won't leave disappointed!

Visited this lovely restaurant run by Adrian & Christina tonight - our first experience of Rumanian cuisine but won’t be our last! Lovely relaxed friendly atmosphere. Best Papernash in the world. Hearty dishes but also very tasty. Hosts were warm and welcoming . The Romanian stew was original and delicious
