La Vera in Cheshire East

Been a few times now and always end up a bit disappointed, had a Donner kebab and chips tonight for example and it just wasn’t very tasty and the chips were undercooked, tasteless and soggy. No shortage of food but it was all a bit average, at best. Really want to use this place but every time I go I end up feeling like I could have done better and it pains me to leave this review but been five times now and not feeling like would bother again.

The nosed kebab has to be the best kebab that I have ever had. I had peri peri chicken, lamb and donner meat. The chicken and lamb were both cooked to perfection with a chargrilled taste with the accompanying chilli sauce also delicious. The salad is also the most tasty and freshest salad that I have tasted, which is a sign in itself and testament to the quality of the ingredients that are used at la vera.

Meat donner and chicken good quality we had chips and onions rings as sides but these let it down overall good meal

Passed by for just chips, and I have never been here before. Swiftly made, and they tasted really fresh. Very happy to report a good experience :)

Had a family take out from here. I’d call it a traditional kebab house, but that is to take nothing away from it. The food was totally fresh and delicious and really good value. Highly rated.

Couldn’t be bothered cooking so ordered the chef special chicken kebab, chips and donee kebab, told would be ready in 15. Timing was spot on, even through in some sauce for us as they recommended the yoghurt was best with the chicken. Such nice staff/owners, no problems every time, even when they looked rushed off their feet.

Honestly absolutely amazing food.. it came hot and very nice loads of chicken I can highly recommend this place great food great price and friendly staff.. 5star rating all the way

I have used La Vera Wilmslow many times and have never been disappointed. The food is great and the service is always friendly without being too familiar. Well done La Vera.

I odnt write many reviews but I really wanted to make people know that this is the best place for kebabs. Been going regularly since it opened and I cant reccomend it enough

Naan bread is so soft and tasty, the chef special chicken tasted freshly grilled and succulent. Great portion size and side sauces are really nice. Pizza was like the old school classic where it was a thick crust rather than a floppy soggy take away pizza. Great stuff and super polite staff.

Delicious fresh food and friendly service!! No wonder I keep coming back!! The grilled chicken kebabs are wonderful chargrilled with just a dash of lemon juice. The rustic garlic bread is yummy too!!

£6.70 for a large kebab. It's just a nana bread with some donner meat. Same size of my hand!! Won't be returning!!

The lovely staff make me a salad every day - dieting!! It is always full of fresh crisp ingredients and served with a smile Highly recommended

Compared to the takeaways in the area, this is one of the best, in my opinion. The chicken and meat is grilled thoroughly and everything tastes quite fresh. The prices are very decent too. There are obviously more expensive places like the new one zatar, but I think La Vera tastes similar and is way more cheaper! A hidden gem I think.

I have been here several times at lunchtime and it was always value for money and they were always polite but today it was just all wrong. I ordered my meal and received it several minutes later. I asked the woman serving me if it was only cheese 3 times and she said it was. Anyway I took it away and went to work to eat it and it was not what I ordered so I phoned and I was called a liar and stop being rude. Well I'm sorry but I am not going to ask for something I don't eat or dislike. It is the same thing every time. Will I ever go back no deffinatelty not where they call me a liar... plenty of places to go here for food ..

we have been numerous times and have never been disappointed. Service always with a smile and polite. Food has always been perfect. We now order in advance and usually collect but have had the food delivered. The order has always been 100 percent correct despite special requests and variations which has never been an issue for the manager or staff. Tasty and highly recommended.

Best kebabs... Love the mixed chicken one on pitta but you have a choice of having it on naan as well. Chicken is nicely chargrilled.

From the friendly reception as you walk through the door to the delicious fresh produce and gorgeous French style rustic garlic bread!! I highly recommend the Original chicken kebabs slightly chargrilled!! Served with lemon and lime! In my opinion , La Vera is the best take away in town!

I had some super tasty pizzas, old school deep pan style packed with toppings OMG AND THE SPECIAL KEBAB, yazurr I'll be back for that. Really friendly staff/owner. Deffo the new local to go to (affordable too spesh for the price compared to the oily pizzas around the block, YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN...PIZZA LA VITA), thanks guys!
