I came down to Bedford to catch up with a couple of friends and the whole experience was fantastic! We had a couple of nibbles to start which were a perfect portion size before our main course. Despite it being busy due to the same weekend as Mother’s Day, all the food came out fast. I had the seafood risotto which was incredible. Everything was fresh and full of flavour. Definitely recommend for a date night destination or to catch up for friends. I can’t wait to come back to revisit.

Phoned last minute for a same day reservation and they were able to accommodate. My daughter wanted to go somewhere that had parma ham. She was not dissappointed! Antipasti sharing platter was delightful. The food in general was AMAZING and fairly priced. Atmosphere was lovely, staff were very friendly and accommodating. I really appreciate the extra work they put in to make sure my young son (age 6) had something he could eat. 5 very happy (and very full!) customers. Thank you :)

Very warm welcome from all the staff. Fried seafood and courgette starter to share was well cooked, hot and a big portion. The risotto mains were big and tasty. Giant prawns and juicy muscles in the seafood risotto. Could do with a couple more types of fish though. The carbonara was tasty and well cooked too. Lovely classy decor, very clean toilets. Can’t wait to come again.

Recently visited and had the most wonderful staff dinner party. Preorder was completely accurate, all dishes were perfectly made and came promptly. As a table of 26 we had the upstairs floor to ourselves which created a great sense of privacy whilst the staff were extremely attentive to our needs, nobody went without a drink and all involved worked their hardest to make sure the evening went smoothly. I would like to thank Sofia B as she was excellent at monitoring the table and knowledgeable when dealing with any requests or queries across the night. 10/10 would recommend no matter the occasion!

Came to La Terrazza for a staff party. The atmosphere was amazing. All staff were extremely friendly, especially Sofia B and Sofia M, who both handled serving our big table excellently. I had the seafood linguine which was absolutely beautiful. The most deserving 5 star review I have ever given and a must try for everyone in and around bedford. Well done guys👏👏👏

Went for a late lunch and was very kindly seated. I had an aperol spritz with the house made focaccia which was individually sliced, buttered and grilled making each bite perfect with the high quality oil and balsamic. I followed that with the seafood linguine, beautifully al dente with a lovely amount of well prepared seafood. I ended with an affogato which was the ideal treat to kick off the remainder of my day. I'm only in town a week and would love to return again for dinner. Definitely a high end and superior experience all around. Although I was dining solo, this would be a beautiful date night location. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Everything was perfect, quick service and the food tasted very nice, would recommend, only thing id say maybe add pizza and calzone options but otherwise still a very good menu.

First time visitor, however have been to a lot of similar establishments but few excel in both food, drink and service. The menu is carefully crafted to compliment the timings of the bottomless brunch and the atmosphere is perfect for the occasion, can highly recommend of you're in the area.

Visited as a party of six, all first timers on one of the busiest evenings of the year and it was excellent. The place was full but the staff were attentive, perceptive and engaging. Food was excellent also with sharing platters, delicious starters and gorgeous mains. Good wine, cocktails and lovely beers. Be coming back.

Really really cold restaurant -main course food was also cold not even warm plates. Paid supplement for steak which was ok but served with few burnt chips & rocket out of a packet. For that money should at least be some proper veg. Table next to our 9 also very disappointed Will not be returning

The staff were attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and it was a lovely evening. The setting and the ambiance was spot on too. A family member, who has Coeliac disease, was taken great care of.

Friendly and efficient staff. Seafood risotto is clearly a signature dish, and the slow cooked lamb shoulder was braised for hours then tightly rolled prior to re-heating, which made the fat content just right. Enthusiastic chefs who enjoy their work. Highly recommended!

My friend and I went to Bedford for an Italian day, we shopped in an Italian shop, visited an Italian patisserie and finally found an amazing Italian restaurant called La Terrazza in the heart of Bedford. Very tasty and beautifully presented food, nice atmosphere, very nice and friendly staff. I recommend this place wholeheartedly, I will definitely be back.

The arancini was really good. The rigatoni beef ragu was good. Nice setting.

This was my second time visiting this fantastic restaurant, the only problem with it is choosing what to have off the menu. The quality of ingredients and standard of cooking is very high and I can’t wait to return again.

Nice food, however really bad service. After 2 hours we been told we'll have to leave our table soon as our booking window was 2 hours, which should be enough time to have 3 course meal, however service was so slow, we had to wait an hour for food, drinks took forever too and even they really needed us to leave they took their time to take a payment. If you can't deliver service don't rush your customers to leave that just really disrespectful. Also consider how many people you got at the table before bringing nibbles.

We ordered catering from La Terrazza for our recent wellness retreat in Cambridgeshire, the food was AMAZING! La Terrazza delivered the food to our venue, it was well packaged and instructions made it simple for us to handle and store the food as we needed items over 2 days. The food went down an absolute treat with the team and clients, and we will absolutely be using Naz and the team for future events. We had a fabulous evening celebrating my birthday with cocktail, wine and lots of tasty dishes. Everyone enjoyed their food with a different dish each we had a trio of starters, swordfish pasta, lamb rump, beef ragu tagliatelle, risotto and chicken arrabietta rigatoni. Friendly service and delicious desserts! We are certainly coming again

Great food, great customer service! This little bit of Italy is tucked away only a short walking. Distance from John Bunyan Museum. It was perfect for our group of 4. Our meals consisted of pasta dishes, lamb and polenta and octopus- portions are very generous and the price is decent. And definitely have the trio dessert!

Food was blunt, but was presented good. The carbonara which we got was not creamy but wet instead. Desert was 5/5 but I guess it was made by someone else(not the chef which was in today) as 3 piece desert were ready in 5 minutes.

We had a celebration for my daughter's birthday this evening at the lovely La Terazza. . The food was amazing, the service was first class and atmosphere perfect. I had the lamb rump....superbly cooked ... exactly to my liking. So tender and tasty. We will definitely be coming back

Service was horrible, waiter forgot our water, food was terrible, can’t call yourself an Italian restaurant and put cream in carbonara, the pasta was like soup, unable to eat, guanciale was burnt, the cherry on top that incorrect bill was given at the end with £30 on top, wouldn’t recommend and will never visit again.

Rarely ever leave a review anywhere, but the food here was so poor that I feel compelled to. Prices would be okay if the food would be actually decent. Nothing that we tried here was up to a normal standard, from the Aperol Spritz tasting like it was mixed with tap water, to the mains being cooked with completely different ingredients. Wouldn't personally recommend it.

Had my 25th birthday party here with my friends and family. The food was lovely, the staff were friendly and helpful and we all had a lovely evening. Would 100% recommend.

You would not expect to have a traditional ‘Sunday Roast’in a predominately Italian Restaurant but these Chefs who are part joint owners with Naz reflect their wide skills in also offering this traditional meal. Agree with all the comments I've read. We went out for a very memorable meal here, and the service, the food, and the ambience were all on point. So nice to go out and not have to worry about anything. The food was delicious (there were 6 people on my table, and not one persons plate was left unfinished). We all had a lovely time here and would recommend anyone try it out if they've never been! Real hidden gem in the centre of town. I hope more people support independent restaurants like this. Really deserving of your money. Could not fault anything. 11/10 🙏

Had a lovely meal with Family, with great food and atmosphere sat outside on the terrace. The service was quite poor on the night compared to previous meals. Seemed like the staff were short one member and struggling.

I have nothing but great things to say about this restaurant hidden 100 yards behind the high Street in Bedford. The food, the service the ambience all were top-notch. We will go home within a week and we’ll find our way back there before we go. The house red wine we enjoyed was recommended by our server, and it was indeed one of the finest reds I have ever had.

Law grandson and friend Food as always was 10 out of 10 6 year old grandson had meatballs with spaghetti and sauce ,as soon as he finished he started on his mums risotto and then onto his dad's chicken cotteletta Staff were friendly and attentive Enjoyed eating inside and then moved outside for drinks Concern for us was amazing we were given blankets to keep us warm Management you are doing a fantastic job keep it up We will be back for sure

Had the pleasure of an amazing roast dinner here. One of the best I've had in years! The beef was cooked to perfection and the veg were delicious. Hats off to the chefs and the front of house who made the dining experience so good I can't wait to go back. oo

My 17 year old daughter tracked this place down online did her homework and booked to treat me for Fathers Day and neither of us was disappointed. Tucked down a narrow alleyway off the Bedford High Street La Terraza is a great little Italian restaurant. We opted to share starters - calamari and bruschetta which both hit the spot. We both had pasta (carbonara and one whose name I don’t recall but it was the zig zag pasta with a creamy chicken and mushroom sauce) mains which were superb - heavenly in fact! Desserts were equally as good. Service was friendly and efficient and our waitress chased us down the street afterwards to give me my bottle of complementary Father’s Day beer which I hadn’t realised was mine for the taking when we left the restaurant. A very pleasant Sunday lunchtime meal and good enough to ensure that we’ll be back again one evening soon!

Visited with a group for bottomless brunch on Saturday- the team were friendly, helpful and worked very hard to make our visit special and memorable. Hidden gem. Discovered this outstanding restaurant hidden down an alleyway next to the slug and lettuce run by 3 enthusiast young men. The food is Italian inspired with no pizza to be found here. All ingredients are freshly cooked and set in a tastefully decorative environment. Our food was outstanding as was the sevice. We settled for the house red, which was smooth and fruity. I am sure if you go once you're return again and again.

Absolutely blown away by this little find in humble Bedford! I've visited on a couple of occasions in the last month, once on Easter Sunday with a large group, and once on a Tuesday evening. On both occasions we were super impressed. I was almost hesitant to make the first booking as this place is quite tucked away from the High Street and I hadn't heard of it before. The Easter Sunday menu was delicious, and the Sunday Roast which they had put on specially for the day was genuinely one of the best roasts I've had in a restaurant, including some that were much much more expensive! The staff were really friendly throughout and very accommodating to my family who can be very difficult customers to please. Really lovely wine and cocktail selection and a menu that has plenty to suit all tastes. Was very pleasantly surprised to find that even on a Tuesday night they were quite busy. You can feel that the kitchen take pride in what they serve, which always comes out looking the part, in a timely fashion, and tasting delicious. Would thoroughly recommend booking and giving this place a go. Looking forward to coming back and hope the high standard of service and food is maintained!

I absolutely love love love this restaurant! The food, the vibe, the service, the front of house staff and of course, not forgetting the amazing Chefs. Everything about this restaurant is phenomenal. It’s the most elegant and quaint hidden gem! We had the Tomahawk Steak for 2 and it was incredible. Hands down one of best steaks I’ve ever eaten. This restaurant has a great selection of wines, cocktails and spritzers. I would highly recommend this restaurant, whether it be for a date night, dinner with friends and family and they also have an option for private dining which is amazing for any celebration. They do an amazing brunch too! P.S they cater for vegans and veggies too!

Wow! Absolutely exceeded my expectations. The setting, service and food were all exceptional. I had a selection of small starters and the giant conchiglie stuffed with sausage and ricotta - I could easily have been greedy and had a 2nd portion of it!
