We had a delightful evening on Saturday with impeccable food and perfect service. It’s a small venue but not awkward at all due to the relaxed welcoming atmosphere. I loved everything about it but it’s the personal touches by Roberto and Lino that really elevate the experience to make it uniquely memorable.

Epic birthday dinner last night! The food was off the charts fresh and delicious. We had beautiful shared starters with meats, cheeses, gorgeous burrata, aubergine parmagiana and buttery mushrooms. Mains were ragu, salmon, and scallop dishes that we all loved. Lino and Roberto are so welcoming, super attentive and great hosts. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful staff; very friendly and accommodating of my vegan diet. I have been twice now and will certainly be coming again! The owners/staff are incredibly friendly and went out of their way to cater for me and my partner on Valentine's Day. Thank you!

Just had the most marvellous family get together for eight of us. The guys really know how to look after their guests. Plus the food is proper Italian all made on the premises. Can’t recommend them highly enough and will be back.

Had the best birthday brunch ever at 2likeus Bistro! Roberto and Lino hosted the perfect afternoon brunch with a request of added karaoke and drinks into the evening. They 100% delivered on everything food was delicious and we all had such so much fun would highly recommend! We look forward to returning in the near future.

I spent good Friday evening with my wife and the fantastic hosts of the 2likeus Bistro Lino and Roberto. The rustic Italian food Lino creates is truly a feast for your taste buds and you certainly won't go home hungry. We started the evening with starters of homemade meatballs for my wife and artichokes for myself. The meatballs were fresh, tasty and cooked to order. The tomato sauce was indulgent and had a real depth of flavour. The artichokes were cooked perfectly and still had a slight bite to them, a great starter for any vegetarian or food lover. For our mains I ordered the seabass which was beautifully cooked which I highly recommend you try. My wife had the Rib Eye steak drizzled with orange balsamic , sautéed potatoes salad and cherry tomatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly and just to my wifes taste. We've both been to 2likeus many times now. Lino and Roberto always deliver great food and great service. Thanks again for another lovely evening. We'll be back that's a promise!!

The hosts were so lovely and welcoming - there was a whole lot of love in that room, and not just because it was Valentines Day. The food was clearly made with care and skill, and very fresh ingredients.

Well, what can I say about Roberto and Lino...firstly what great hosts they both are. They make you feel so welcome as soon as you walk through the door. Their attentive nature to ensuring your dining experience is one to remember and is second to none. The food which Lino cooks is traditional rustic authentic Italian/Mediterranean. The food is excellent and freshly cooked to order. You must try the prawns they are to die for. Nothing is too much trouble for either of them. 2likeus Bistro is a true hidden gem. The starter of scallops, pancetta, spinach, and grated pecorino is a real triumph. If you love Italian/Mediterranean food, then you'd be a fool not to try 2likeus Bistro. The service and food is excellent value!!

Our dining experience with “Boys” last night was outstanding. We preordered from their Christmas menu and every course was wonderful fresh tasty and beautiful presented. Wine and cocktails meet everyone’s expectations. Add to this Hospitality,Warm welcome and fun and atmosphere created by Roberto and Leno made for not only a special night but also a marvellous start to the Christmas festivities.

No words that can accurately describe just how good this place is , the food is second to none , the service is amazing, no competition , number one spot in bedford ! A must try !

Had dinner here last night. The food was outstanding, delicious scallops and prawns for stater and ravioli and ragu for mains. The boys are superb hosts, very attentive and make you feel so welcome. Looking forward to coming back again. Thankyou Roberto and Lino.

Another great evening with subtle tasting fresh pasta, great steak washed down with Amicone. Great hosts as usual and a unique non rushed intimate atmosphere. Highly recomended.

Came to bedford for a work thing. Used to London fare, Italian there is pretty great. This was probably the best Italian in England I’ve ever had. If you’re coming through bedford, honestly check it out. Quite small and cosy too.

Four of us ate in the upstairs section, which had a very welcoming and cosy atmosphere. As it happened, we all chose the same starter and main, and the flavours and quality in both of these choices were absolutely wonderful. We also loved the selection of oils which we were offered too. The chocolate souffle was completely heavenly (I usually avoid chocolate puddings as they're not my favourite), and the cheese board was filled with top class Italian cheeses. We were made to feel so welcome by Roberto and Lino - thanks so much. We will spread the word, and will definitely be back.

Fantastic food! I was really dubious about getting a take away steak, especially as I’m really fussy about steak being over cooked but it was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing, better than anywhere else I’ve eaten in Bedford. The other food was also perfect and...

Such an awesome dining experience. The guys are great and the set up feels like a living room (upstairs at least) and while there is room and opportunity for intimacy, there was plenty of time to chat to the guys as we ate. We will be back.

We had the most amazing evening last night at this little gem of a place, the food was delicious, fresh & superbly presented. Roberto&Lino are the perfect hosts we felt like we were honoured guests in there home and it was only our first visit!! I cannot believe that we have only just discovered this lovely restaurant. Lovely little bistro. The hosts were friendly, amusing and attentive. They had all their staff call in sick and still they looked after us. It was a special anniversary and we were really well looked after. 100% going back again.

The most amazing little Italian bistro I've ever had the pleasure to eat in. Run by 2 stupendous guys. The food is incredible, but these guys go above and beyond to make their customers feel at home, and wow did we...with completely drinks at the end of the evening... yeah, that's quite usual in an Italian restaurant, but these guys, kept them flowing along with their wonderful humour. A small bistro in the popular Castle Road area. The menu is Mediterranean and changes frequently. The emphasis is on using fresh, seasonal ingredients and the food is cooked to perfection. The wine list is also short but good. I was in a group of 4 but it will hold a modest-size gathering for which it is possible to book the whole place, ideal for family gatherings.

I've been to 2likeus Aperitivo Bar a few times now and always had an amazing time. The italian meats and cheeses are absolutely gorgeous. Host Roberto is highly entertaining and it always turns into a bit of a disco with us choosing our own tunes. Love this place!

I organised a friend’s Hen do here last night. Roberto and Lino are THE best hosts and cannot do enough to ensure their customers are well looked after. We opted for sharing plates and Tapas ( both hot and cold) and the food was amazing, even catering for some of us that are following a diet plan. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Caroline kindly helped me decorate with balloons and banners and assisted with setting up the space before everyone arrived. Our group of ladies had a fabulous night, the food was delicious and everyone commented on the quality and how tasty everything was. When we had finished, Roberto turned up the tunes for music and dancing and we had fabulous fun...another great night. I highly recommend eating here or using the space for a smaller party or gathering. Thanks again for another wonderful night...planning the next one already.

I love this place! It has to be one of my favourite places in town to eat. The food is delicious and the sharing boards are amazing! Visited with friends for dinner, and we could not have had a better evening. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door. The menu is not extensive as it is a very small restaurant, but the food is lovely and fresh and so tasty. We had a great night and will be returning.

Service at the bar was a little difficult but I think it was teething problems with new staff. Still they made every effort to ensure everyone was happy.

Roberto and Lino are simply experts at what they do: excellent food and excellent hospitality. We've had lunch and dinner here on different ocassions and it's always great quality with the warmest service. They care about the little touches and are so attentive. The guys are a great team, honest and genuine with their recommendations and they make you feel like family. We shared our dishes and for me, they were all delicious but the stand-out dishes if I was forced to choose would be the mussels in white wine sauce (amazing flavour), sausage pasta and steak (cooked to perfection by Lino). But you will find the menu varies to keep it fresh and seasonal. As they noted we had shared our dishes, they asked if we'd be interested in a tasting menu next time. Definite yes from us!!! Roberto and Lino, if you read this, we would be well up for that!!!! Thanks for always looking after us. If you are reading this and haven't been, this is hands down one of the best Italian eateries in Bedford and you won't get better service. Go!!!

Intimate venue with a small but select menu according to what fresh produce is available daily. Exceptionally warm hospitality. By the way, Google maps places it by the Gordon Arms, but actually half a block east and opposite side of Castle Road - look for the fairy lights!

We had such a good time here that we came back for our next date night. The food was just as good; do try their upgraded steaks as they’re delicious. Had drinks with the owners and ended up involved in an impromptu dance off. Great times.

What an absolute Gem this place is. It’s not just a restaurant it’s a whole experience great food great service. The best bedford has to offer. I will highly recommend to everyone! I will be back very soon.

We went to dinner last night and had not only great food and wine, but even more importantly spent some time with really passionate people who are great fun. Still smiling this morning and reminiscing about an evening which was pure joy - and remarkable value. The space has been redesigned since our last visit and, although still an intimate space, it feels more spacious and welcoming. Fantastic restaurant to have in the town and we’ll be returning soon.

Came here for a girls night and we were not disappointed! The sharing board for 2 was more than enough for 3 and the pasta was fresh and gorgeous.

We had dinner here last night and I can honestly say that it was one of the nicest date nights we have had. The restaurant is only small but, as the weather was so nice, we chose to sit outside under their little pergola which is decorated with fairy lights and lanterns - veg charming. They have a short, focused menu but everything is really fresh and well sourced. We had a sharing board between us to start; a selection of cured meats and cheeses with some bread. The vintage cheddar and the mortadella in particular were excellent but it was all so good and was well accompanied by a cool, crisp glass of Sauvignon blanc...followed by a rosé. We were a little unoriginal in that we both had the same main - fusilli with buffalo mozzarella and ham but it was delicious, simple but so well done. We were able to try some reds before deciding on one. We shared a delicious chocolate brownie for dessert. Roberto is fabulous and he chats to diners, as well as encouraging them to talk to each other and joined us for a chat and a drink (several drinks on the house were given to us). Their aim is to make it feel as if you are coming into their home to dine and this is exactly what it feels like - a chilled, relaxed atmosphere with delicious Italian food...exactly what we wanted. There are blankets you can wrap up in if you get a bit chilly outside, a nice little touch. As the kitchen is small the food takes a little time to come out but everything about this place is laid back and you never feel rushed. Thank you - we will be back!

This was the second time I've eaten there and both evenings have been excellent. The meals feel incredibly authentic, appearing quite minimal but really tasty. They have a short menu that I always like as well.

2likeus is hands down the best restaurant in Bedford. The food here is absolutely delicious. It’s fresh and made by someone who really knows their food and what works well together. I had steak and it was perfect. From now on, this is my go to restaurant for a real treat

Lovely relaxed setting with perfect host and wonderful chef. Roberto and Lino are a lovely couple. We had a really tasty meal and were enchanted by the hospitality provided.

We visited this weekend for a quick couples night out and had 3 courses with wine.

I went here with a group of ladies, not looking forward to the evening, not expecting much, and was completely blown away! The food was exceptional - i am extremely fussy and pick holes in everything - and the service was absolutely superb. I would not hesitate to recommend this bistro and will return at the first opportunity. Tip - ask Roberto for one of his cocktails

My friends and I spent a wonderful afternoon here yesterday, sitting outside in the sunny courtyard drinking prosecco. The food was amazing..a wonderful array of cheese, hams, meats with freshly baked bread. We also had prawns and mussels, which were both delicious. Roberto and Lino were both very welcoming and the selection of dishes Lino prepared for us were all freshly prepared and full of flavour. A real hidden gem...I highly recommend a visit here.
