Booked table, then to be told closed for future - no reason / waste of time

Very disappointed evening out, looked very nice on arrival but not impressed with the food. Our starter for two Italian meats and cheeses was a joke; and main course Risotto one Mushrooms and one vegetables was very lack luster and tastless !! Asked for the dessert menu only to be told oh we closed on Monday so didn’t get a delivery. Wasn't asked if wanted anything else ie drink or coffee. Paid up and left and won't be returning.

Fantastic experience at this restaurant. We came for dinner on a Thursday night. Excellent service from all staff. Food was really tasty and very generous portions. We had lovely wine too Would definitely be returning.

I went to this restaurant with a friend for the first time on what should have been a busy Saturday night. It was empty. Food was good, service could be better. Had to wait a while before being offered any drinks. Asked for bread and was given 2 tiny pieces, so we had to ask for more. Only 3 puddings available from the menu and the coffee machine was broken. Had to go elsewhere for coffee. All in all very poor standards for the price. There are better Italian restaurants in Bedford. I wouldn't go back there.

We are here tonight (Sunday) and although it was quiet the food and service was fantastic and all very reasonably priced!! Will be visiting again

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Bedford. The service is unmatched. The stuff truly cares about your experience. The food is amazing. Absolutely highly recommend!

I visited la famiglia with some friends on Tuesday evening. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, the service was spotless and the food amazing! We started with some starters to share - frittura di mare, veggie soup and bruschetta. The bread was so warm and crunchy that I had to ask if they could sell it as it's homemade sourdough. The tomatoes were so fresh and full of flavour and the fish was great. We then continued with pizza ai 4 formaggi with tomato base, linguine di mare and carbonara, which I have to say, is probably the best in town! The creamy egg sauce and the guanciale were cooked to perfection and the pasta was al dente, following the proper Italian recipe. The pizza was crunchy and the fish in the linguine was amazing. We also shared a bottle of red. I cannot recommend this place enough and if you haven't been yet, please pop in a give it a go! You won't be disappointed

I had the carbonara and it was cold and the Sauce was congealed and clumpy… I could not eat it…

We had an amazing Fathers Day lunch here! The food was amazing and you couldn’t find a fault at all and the desserts were perfect! Will be coming back for date nights!

Very helpful and friendly staff, food was great. The best carbonara I've had in years, so thank you so much! The number of gluten free options was really helpful for one of our party also. I've included some pictures, but there was more food on both plates. We just got stuck in to the amazing food before thinking "we should take a couple of pictures here" Loved our visit and definitely will be back. Recommended.

First time trying this restaurant and wow, it's amazing 👏, so welcoming and happy, was shown to our table. Drinks were ordered and quickly arrived to our table, and the food all came out together and was pipping hot, not all had desert as to full from our meal, but those who did, it looked amazing and told it tasted it too, If you haven't been here then you should try it for sure, 10/10 from us and I'll definitely be back.

Really good service and great value food and drinks - I had the four cheese pizza and my partner had a calzone, which qualified us for a deal where we got to take a third pizza home for free! Only wish the four cheese pizza came with a tomato base as it was very rich!

It's a very nice new place to eat. The staff was excellent and helpful, food was amazing and tasty. The dessert was amazing as well! 😍 Definitely, the place where I want to come back and it's not that easy to find a place where to get fresh and good taste food like this!

Nice afternoon meal out. Friendly greeting upon entering and a chatty (in a good way) and knowledgeable serving staff. The food is quick and delicious pizza I ever had acording to my expectation more than that, relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The starter and then main course can't be more tasty it's very Rare to find the perfect place like this to enjoy your meal and time out. The desert has been made by magic way its touch soul tho, everything was amazing looking forward for dinner again and again. Clean and tidy, nice decor and a welcoming ambience. We’ll be going back for sure.

Had a lovely meal with a friend. Had a tasty large starter and shared it between two. My friend had an authentic carbonara and I had a delicious mushroom risotto. Lovely house wine. Extensive menu, extremely friendly and helpful people and beautifully decorated and well organised restaurant! A new hidden gem, everyone should try it!
