The perfect setting for a special occasion. Something very different to the everyday high street Italian restaurant. The setting, the ambiance, the food, wine, head of house manager ‘Ivan’ … it was all 10/10

After staying at this superb hotel and discovering La Terrazza, we have since make special trips just to dine at La Terrazza. Every visit is as enjoyable as our first. Consistently superb and incredible value. First of all, the restaurant is dog friendly... the service is nothing short of Michelin star standard, the pizzas are incredible and dining here is such a pleasure. The pizzas are amongst the best I have ever experienced. Wonderful staff, great chefs and state of the art Italian pizzas. This is a terrific addition to what is the most superb hotel.

I must congratulate t general manager Mr Andrew Harrison and executive chef Mr Talha Barkin on the wonderful pizzas at the hotel’s refreshing brand new La Terrazza Restaurant (which also offers outdoor dining with a lovely view…just in time for summer). The pizzas created by chef Angelo Doganieri, especially his ‘historic’ DOGANIERI PARMIGIANA - CHEF ANGELO’S SIGNATURE PIZZA…which is made up of Burnt Multi Grains, San Marzano Tomato Sauce, Fior di Latte, Aubergine, Confit Tomatoes and Ricotta Salata…are worth a special visit to Four Seasons Hampshire just for this particular pizza. It is possibly one of the very best pizzas available anywhere… and at £18 is terrific value. This is a ‘must visit’ restaurant as is the entire, superb, Four Seasons Hotel, Hampshire

Visited on 08 June 2024. Have wanted to visit Four Seasons Hampshire for some time and then saw that it was opening an Italian restaurant, so decided to go. The restaurant serves starters, pizza and desserts. We arrived early and were shown to the outdoor seating area (about 8 tables - some on the terrace and some on the grass) where we had drinks overlooking the grounds. There was no traffic noise, just the occasional plane flying overhead. In the grounds we could see a deer. It was perfectly tranquil and relaxing with some Italian themed music playing in the background. As the weather was nice, we decided to stay at our table to eat. Service was discreet and attentive. We didn’t have a starter and went straight for the pizza. Both pizzas were beautifully light and flavoursome. We decided to move to the covered area for dessert and coffee. The panna cotta with raspberry coulis on top was smooth and refreshing to the palate, the best I’ve had in a long time. Cost wise, I thought it reasonable for the whole experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to La Terrazza and special thanks to the whole team for looking after us so well. Would I return? Yes, without any hesitation.

Best pizza in fleet. I ordered a cheese pizza with pepperoni as extra. One bite, everyone knows the rules! Zero flop, amazingly crisp but soft crust. Under carriage to die for. Perfect cheese to sauce ratio with a slightly spicey and salty pepperoni. Overall score 8.4 Crazy good, nothing else like it around

Dined here with a party of 7 including 3 kids. Kids dough ball starters were a good size, and their mains looked ample and tasted good. Kids mains were advertised as penne pasta, but we actually spaghetti, which is harder for them to eat without making a mess. Adult starters were good, liked the arancini although it was delayed because the first one broke apart in the fat frier apparently. It took a long time for the adult mains to come. So long that the kids had long finished eating theirs. When they came my lasagne was cremated (see pic). An attempt had been made to hide it with a dollop of fresh marinara sauce on top. As we’d waited so long, I pressed on with it but had to leave quite a bit and it lacked flavour and was chewy due to being overcooked. The other diners meals seemed fine. In fairness they took the lasagne off the bill, but I think the chef wasn’t having a great day. Was reasonably busy for a Monday night.

Really tasty food, staff were attentive but also left us to enjoy ourselves. The only disappointing one was the first gluten free option (gnocchi) we asked for wasn't available but another option was offered soon. I would say that staff need more training on the difference between vegetarian / vegan / pescatarian. Otherwise all good for the meat eaters!
