Ho cenato in questo posto durante il mio viaggio a Londra con la mia amica celiaca. La cucina italiana e gluten free non ha deluso le aspettative della clientela italiana. Abbiamo preso dei piatti di pasta fresca, ed era assolutamente tutto squisito. Le ricette sono particolari e non banali, il locale accogliente e lo staff super gentile e professionale come si confà a dei professionisti italiani del settore. Ci tornerò

A wonderful meal. Coeliac heaven as everything is gluten free, but also delicious for my long suffering wife. Passionate owner waiting the tables and describing the dishes with enthusiasm. Highly recommended.

My friend actually found this restaurant online and told me it was gluten free. I am a coeliac, so this was great for me. Although my friends aren't gluten free, they loved there 3 course meal, as did I. We had a variety of starters that we shared, then we all had different main courses and also some desserts. I totally recommend trying this restaurant whether you are gluten free or not, you will really like the food! I will definitely be visiting here again, next time I'm in London.

My sister is a coeliac so I had been researching restaurants in London that had good options for her, and was very pleased when I came across this one! Londons first and only 100% gluten-free restaurant. My sister was very excited to try it as at a lot of restaurants there is still a worry about cross-contamination of foods. For starters, we shared a cannellini bean bruschetta which was lovely. For our mains, we had the vegan ragu stuffed cannelloni, and the casarecce pasta with basil pesto, tomato confit, lemon and basil breadcrumbs topped with burrata cream. Both of the mains were really nice, lots of flavours and very delicious. I am not a coeliac but I thoroughly enjoyed my main, it was some of the best gluten-free pasta I've tried as sometimes its not a very good texture but with this one you wouldn't have even known it was any different, I was impressed! For desserts, we had the brownie and cheesecake, and again both were lovely. All of the food was delicious and the portion sizes were good, although we shouldn't have shared a starter but got one each! We got there not long after it opened for lunch so initially it was quite empty, however, by the time we were leaving the restaurant was having to turn away people as they were full or had bookings waiting to turn up which shows how popular this place is, I just wish it was bigger and that there was more of them dotted around London! The bill came to £53 (which included their added service charge of just over £5) which for a three-course lunch for two (minus one starter) in central London, plus a glass of wine was very reasonable! The only thing I didn't like was the automatic service charge, even just for two, and that when paying the bill this charge had to be paid for separately. So you had to use your card twice, once for the food and then for the charge - seemed very odd to me but I felt uncomfortable querying it! Overall, the food was really nice, the people were friendly (although service was slightly slow at times) the concept of the restaurant is amazing, and the prices were good so we will definitely be back.

Siamo stati a cena il 7 marzo 2020,. Finalmente un posto dove mangiare realmente senza glutine, cosa non facile a Londra. Abbiamo preso tocchetti di pane con olio e arancini, ravioli all'anduja, pasta al pesto e pasta alla bolognese. Per concludere cheesecake e tiramisù. Tutto buonissimo anche per chi non è celiaco. Da non tralasciare la simpatia e la gentilezza del personale tutto italiano. Se dovessi tornare a Londra sicuramente ci riandremo

Ristorante trovato con la ricerca gluten free perché appunto tutto il Menù è basato su questa cosa. Abbiamo ordinato una bruschetta con gorgonzola,pere e miele (3.50) molto molto buona, i ravioli rosa (10) ripieni di gorgonzola con pesto,barbabietole e pistacchi, a dir poco spettacolari, e pappardelle di castagne con tartufo (10) super buone! Consiglio assolutamente questo posto, lo staff è italiano e molto gentile!

Le personnel était vraiment très sympathique, ils faisaient face à un problème en cuisine et se sont excusés de nombreuses fois. malgré un problème d’électricité, la nourriture sans gluten était délicieuse, je recommande à 100%

Most amazing gluten free Italian food you’ll find. The portions aren’t massive but it’s incredible tasty and well made. I’ll highly recommend the focaccia as well as their cheesecake. Even though the restaurant is a bit small It’ll be a good visit anytime. All staff members are in knowledgeable and nice.

It is lovely to eat somewhere that offers food different to most other places. And Leggero is just that place. Great choices for a vegetarian coeliac, lovely tasty food, quite a nice cosy atmosphere. The staff were happy to provide some recommendations that truly hit the spot. It is a popular place, we booked and were very glad that we did - as others in the hour or so that we were there were being turned away.

Im a coeliac and its rare for me to enjoy such amazing food. We didnt have a reservation but after a bit of waiting the waiter fixed us up with a table for a quick dinner. Amazing pasta and cheesecakes.

A truly gluten free Italian restaurant in the heart of London seems too good to miss, and it was. Absolutely everything on the menu is gluten free, so there is no risk of cross-contamination, and there is real depth of understanding of vegan and dairy free needs as well. It is a family-run business and there is great sense of rapport amongst the staff, which spreads to their understanding of customer needs. Food is delicious, and served quickly (we had a vegan salad, canollini and ravioli - all excellent) with quirky, healthy drinks (gluten free beer is also available, of course) and a superlative chocolate brownie to finish. Service is quick and efficient yet warm. It is a small cafe sized restaurant, so booking absolutely essential - in the hour we were there they turned away at least ten potential groups because of lack of space. They could use twice the space, given the demand I saw. It is not suitable for customers with a severe nut allergy as they use a lot of nuts in their recipes. The only reason I hesitate to share a good review of this great find is that I want to be sure of a table next time!

Walking through Soho and we spotted this little Italian Restaurant. I could not believe that the authentic Italian menu was totally gluten free. Rosemary Focaccia, Arancine, Pink Ravioli and Tiramisu, food heaven for someone who has had to follow a gluten free diet for the last 20 years and not been able to eat such Italian specialities. Fantastic gluten free food just as good as the original. We will be dining here again.

I ordered a meal containing meat by accident. When the waiter brought this out and was explaining what I'd ordered, I realised the mistake and asked the waiter to swap this meal for a veggie option. When the bill came at the end they charged us half the price of the meat dish despite not touching any of this food. This was very cheeky of them. When I asked why they'd done this, they said that's how it is. I disputed this and finally they gave us the back the money. Food was good. Milkshake was tasteless.

Wonderful tasty gluten free cannelloni a first for 25 years! My partner had vegetarian truffle pasta. Cheese cake and tiramisu were delicious. Leggero is a wonderful restaurant.The service was knowledgeable and attentive.

I'd heard good things about 'Leggero' and took my partner there when we were shopping in the West End on a Sunday afternoon. Everything I'd heard turned out to be true: wonderful Italian food, good wines; super friendly, efficient, multilingual staff and a really, really good price for central London. Added to which the menu has been designed for people who don't have any allergies and for those who do have every allergy one can think of has been taken into account.

After endless amounts of time scouring tripadvisor and the net for gluten free restaurants in Covent Garden (and the rest of london) I came across Leggero and it could not have worked out more perfect!

What an amazing find. Booked this restaurant for a pre-theatre meal on my birthday and we were not disappointed. I have coeliac disease and here I could eat whatever I wanted without worrying. The home made bread was delicious - not something usually said about gluten free bread! The dishes were original and I loved the pink ravioli. I also had a choice of desserts something I usually have to pass on. The staff were great and the prices reasonable. The manager told me they were hoping to open a similar restaurant in Manchester and if they do I will definitely be a regular customer.

On a recent family trip to London, we made reservations at Leggero after doing some research on gluten-free restaurant options. Leggero didn't disappoint. The pasta was excellent and the service was friendly and attentive.

Sono stato in questo locale Italiano e devo dire che mi sono trovato benissimo, sia con lo staff molto gentili, e a tavola. I primi sono davvero ottimi, con la pasta fatta da loro. Tutti i prodotti sono senza glutine. Una volta passati al dolce non potete non prendere la Cheesecake, FAVOLOSA. Una tra le più buone mai sentite. CONSIGLIATO.

lo e il mio ragazzo siamo stati in questo ristorante la prima sera trovato per caso e attratti dalle foto dei piatti. Il locale è gestito da italiani e tutto ciò che si trova nel menu è senza glutine. Come antipasto abbiamo preso i crostini e gli arancini ma niente di che. Mentre come primi piatti abbiamo preso i ravioli con nduja e i ravioli rosa ripieni di gorgonzola con crema di pistacchio che erano buonissimi!!! Come dolce la cheesecake ci ha lasciato senza parole perché era spettacolare ,infatti siamo tornati una seconda volta ! Personale alla mano e simpatico . Non do 4 stelle perché se si scende le scale per andare in bagno si intravede la cucina che non è tenuta bene ed è davvero deludente..un attenzione in più non guasterebbe..peccato!

So many options to chose from as a vegan, and even vegan parmesan to sprinkle on which was a bonus. Staff were helpful, only negative is tables a bit snug and the restaurant got quite stuffy and warm.

Upon arrival everything about this restaurant was perfect, relaxing atmosphere, met by the staff and he explained that the whole restaurant and kitchen were completely coeliac friendly and mentioned that they knew all about cross contamination which is brilliant to hear for a coeliac with zero tolerance. We had a starter and main course which was fabulous, we couldn't manage dessert but the girl beside us had one and said it was fabulous. Any coeliac travelling to London has to visit this restaurant, 10 out of ten

Di italiano davvero poco, il solito adattamento dei nostri piatti ai gusti e sapori tanto amati dagli inglesi. Cinque stelle per l’entusiasmo e la gentilezza, tre per la cucina, una per la pulizia ....fondo scala per accesso ai servizi con vista sulla cucina non per deboli di cuore.

Excellent meal, my daughter is gluten free and dairy free, she was delighted to find food she can eat, and it was very good, we both really enjoyed it. Delicious pasta dishes, followed by tasty pudding. This is our second visit, and we'll definitely be back again. Would recommend even if you're not gluten free.

It's not often (if ever) that you walk into a restaurant and can have everything on the menu, and all the drinks - this is what I love about Leggero. It's for this reason alone that I award 4 stars. The location is great, right in the middle of Soho, but the tables are fairly cramped and it's more of a cafe than a restaurant (but what's wrong with that). I like the food, this is not my first visit but I am looking forward to the new menu. My only gripe this time is that the kitchen was closed by the time we were ready to order - we were a booking and we didn't arrive late so this is not reasonable.

Have been so many times. I’m vegan coeliac and it’s heavenly. Had my 30th birthday here and friends loved it. It doesn’t matter if your coeliac or not, the food is divine either way. Great if you have a mix of meat, fish, veggie, vegan eaters. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. But be sure to book so as not to be disappointed. It’s very small but very popular!

Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante perché io e mia sorella siamo celiache e questo locale è stato il primo 100% senza glutine di Londra e ce ne hanno parlato bene. Oltre al classico menu italiano ci sono svariate proposte particolari, che noi abbiamo provato, tutte ottime.

Run - don't walk to Leggero if you are gluten free. It's amazing. Everything is safe. The bread sampler is so yummy. Hummus . Pasta dishes just delicious. Our server Emma was so charming and helpful. Lovely wine pairings and great people watching. Just go. So good.

Anyone with gluten free and/or vegan diet requirements should visit this place. It is so tasty that you wouldn't believe you are eating that healthy. My friend is non vegan and she loved the vegan parmesan and the vegan brownie.

It seems like an oxymoron for Italian food to be gluten-free, right?!? We were incredibly impressed with Leggero on 64 Old Compton Street! We had a 6pm reservation and were seated immediately. All the tables had fresh flowers in long neck bottles and the restaurant was charming as were the servers!

my daughters and I went to leggero on Friday, one of my daughters is gluten intolerant, and both are vegetarian, the food was fantastic - even I could have been converted to being a veggie! the service was friendly and fast, there was no rushing to get you in and out after your meal, even though the restaurant is small, the price was very reasonable and compared to other 'restaurant chains' and the food choices really good. 20/10 we will definitely be going back on our next London trip. the restaurant was full all the time we were there, so booking a table is recommended to save having to return at a later time.

Highly recommended, especially for people with allergies or dietary requirements. Everything is gluten free so it's like heaven for those struggling to find gluten free good. It was such a treat to have a whole menu that was 100% gluten free. I haven't had real Italian food in so long it was amazing! My favourite was the bruschetta and bolognese! And the staff were so lovely too.

I've been here so many times I've lost count and the staff have started to recognise me and my drinks order. That's because the food here is SO good, if you're coeliac or otherwise, and the staff are so lovely it's just a really comforting place to be. All the pasta and bread is to die for, and the puds are great (if you have space). I would say it's pretty reasonably priced for the centre of London too. Service can be a little slow, but it's a small, jam-packed bustling restaurant so you can forgive them that when you're having such a good time.

Mi esposa y yo tuvimos platos de pasta que estaban bien cocinados, pero la estrella de la comida fue la bruschetta. Los desiertos tampoco están mal. Pedimos una bruschetta para comenzar y tuvimos que pedir otra ya que es muy buena. Pedimos uno de cada uno de los desiertos y compartimos. También pedimos cookies para llevar, que llevamos con nosotros y disfrutamos más tarde. El servicio fue bueno y el vino también era bueno. El precio era muy razonable y pudimos entrar y sentarnos sin esperar un almuerzo tardío. Recomiendo este restaurante y volveré cuando esté en Londres.

I never thought I'd have such amazing Italian food, completely gluten free, taste so good!!! I loved the lamb meatballs and beet ravioli with pesto the most! The owner Francesco is incredibly dedicated to his restaurant and made it an amazing experience!

A thoroughly wonderful experience! The pasta dishes, especially the weekly special Casarecce pasta, not to mention the gluten free and vegan brownie, were among the tastiest I have ever eaten. The service was good quality, prompt and helpful.

As someone who has been gluten intolerant for some time and am fed up with having such limited choice at restaurants, this was heaven!!

My vegan daughter and I ate a truly delicious meal. My diet for coeliac is often limited, but for the first time since my diagnosis, three years ago, I ate gluten free brushetta and and pasta, with fanstatic sauce which was identical, if not better, than the gluten one. The cheesecake is worth ordering too. Knowing the prices of other coeliac friendly restaurants Leggero is inexpensive. We will definitely visit again.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in London for Gluten free food, I've been several times and it just get better every time!

I went here for my partner's birthday as she is a celiac and vegetarian. The inside is a cosy, authentic, no frills sort of place. The menu had a great range of different pasta's - I am not a celiac and psychology frown at the idea of gluten free pasta but I could easily have ordered everything on the menu. I would also suggest you try the gluten free bread.

If you're coeliac, put Leggero on your list of places to visit but bring lots of $$$ coz a dedicated gluten-free kitchen comes at a high price.

We were here for the gluten-free pasta as my daughter is Celiac. Wow. It was delicious food (and I normally don’t like gluten-free pasta). Everything was fresh and home-made. I can’t speak highly enough about the food. I will go here again on my next visit and will go out of my way to get here. The restaurant doesn’t look like much (sort of a hole in the wall) but the servers were so helpful and nice and (again) the food was amazing. My daughter will always remember this as one of her favourite restaurants. Try the gluten-free bread and the arancini.

Had dinner st Leggero last night. The menu was clearly laid out, the food was very tasty. Would definitely eat here again!

Local con un encanto especial situado en pleno Soho. Toda la carta es sin gluten, incluso la cerveza. La pasta es artesana. La comida es de una calidad y variedad espectaculares. Los postres increíbles. El servicio es super amable. Además tiene una relación calidad precio excelente.

Being Celiac, it's refreshing to be able to come into a restaurant and be able to order anything you would like and not have to worry about it- especially with pasta!

We picked Leggero because it is 100% gluten free. My daughter and I are Celiac so finding a safe restaurant is important. Leggero did not disappoint. We shared three appies and had the Tomato Pappardelle with bolognese. We loved everything! my daughter said this was her favourite meal. It is quite a small restaurant so I recommend making reservations so you are disappointed.

My sister and I dined here last week and the service and food were exceptional. Both our starter and pasta dishes were delicious, and even my non coeliac sister said the food rivalled anything she had eaten in the best restaurants in Italy. The restaurant is only small, we pre booked and arrived a little early for a pre theatre meal. Waiter took time to explain the menu and service was faultless. Will definitely dine here again when in London.

In any big trip there is a previous schedule, when it comes to us, celiac, the schedule is even bigger. When I decided on London I was very excited about the options, even more so with a fresh pasta restaurant. On the first day that I went I loved the meal, so much that I booked to go back on another day. But on the day of booking I had a big surprise ... They do not care about that! I arrived some time before the arranged and they told me that the table would be ready for the reservation schedule. So far so good. Arriving on time combined with surprise: there was no table available for me and my family, even with the reservation! And whoever had arranged the time with me was not able to go and talk to me, sending another rude waiter in his place. I was very disappointed and left. On leaving they even tried to fix us a table (but we did not like the option) and by denying the stay in the restaurant the waiter was extremely stupid with us. Despite the disappointment, we had a beautiful night elsewhere who treated us so much better. Anyway, although the food is great, I do not recommend anyone booking a table because that's no good, and there are better options around town. They left us with a very bad impression.

This place is unbelievably good. My girlfriend is celiac which sort of made us decide on going here in the first place but as a non-celiac I can honestly say that the food I had was some of the best I’ve ever had. The bruschetta starter is not to be missed - the bread is crunchy but chewy and doesn’t taste anything like the stuff you buy in shops. Both our pasta dishes were amazing...the pink ravioli is super tasty and definitely one to try. We almost didn’t get deserts but when we saw them being served to others, we had to try them - also both really good! On top of all this, the staff were crazy friendly and really attentive.

A pre show Saturday dinner with my sister in law who has very severe coeliacs disease. I can’t rate this place highly enough, on two fronts.

I have coeliac disease and it is so nice to be able to choose ANYTHING off of the menu, it is ALL gluten free.

This is glutenfree heaven! The whole menu is glutenfree and the food is delicious!! Cozy aspmosphere and easy interiour. A nice place to visit for some GF pasta 👌

Om met diverse allergieën een goede restaurant te vinden is bijna onmogelijk. Toen kwamen we bij LEGGERO! Onbezorgd en heerlijk genoten van gluten-, ei, zuivelvrije gerechten. En het was goddelijk! Echt een aanrader, volgende keer gaan we weer!

Myself and my friend came here on Thursday afternoon for some lunch. We picked this place as it’s gluten free. The place also caters to a range of dietary requirements. We shared some focaccia bread - there’s no way you could tell it was GF, it was incredible. We both had pasta mains and it’s the best pasta I’ve ever eaten in a restaurant. It was so fresh and the ingredients were top quality. We were so impressed we even had dessert. We were in awe of this place. We will definitely be back again!

The pasta was amazing, tasty with a wonderful texture and everything is 100% gluten free. Wonderful and incredibly helpful atention. Highly recommended and a paraise for celiac people!

Although we are not gluten intolerant our hotel recommended this small Italian restaurant and we were not disappointed. Friendly service. Pasta and sauces were really good. One of the best Tiramisus I have ever had. No frills and very reasonably priced. Will visit again.

Bravíssimo. Well done. We will be back. A small space with great chefs probably from real Italy. We recommend Tagliatelle Bolognesa and Bruschetta to start. Salad vegetarian with Pecorino was perfect.
