We tried it for new year's eve. Place was empty and so cold.had to sit with jackets on. Ordered drinks. One of them came with a fly.then ordered food including lobster. Was not fresh at all! Was smelly and rubbery and when we asked for appropriate cutlery to break lobster we were given a dirty pair of scissors. The salmon supposedly served with a prawn sauce was served with ketchup and mayonnaise and pizza had a hair on it and that was after waiting 45 minutes! Walked out and went to eat somewhere else!lack of sympathy from staff towards all the issues

Went here on a Saturday evening. Great food and service. Plus it's not expensive. Very friendly owner. Don't think it's caught on yet as it wasn't busy. In my opinion it can give the other Italian restaurants in Southport a run for their money. So why not give it a try?

Fabulous good. Great service from a family run restaurant. Go that extra mile to make the food how you like . Would definitely go again. X

We found this small and friendly, family run restaurant a real pleasure to visit. The prices are very reasonable, the food delicious and the atmosphere very welcoming. It is well worth taking a short detour off Lord Street to visit La Piccola Italia where we were made to feel that nothing was too much trouble.
