La Ferme London in Islington

Du jamais vu, une restauration de très mauvaise qualité, un chef qui se prend pour ce qu´il n´est pas.. La raclette de très mauvaise qualité, une charcuterie très moyenne.. Je vous deconseille completement.

We visited in the early evening prior to a show at Sadler’s Wells theatre which is just a few minutes walk away. Food was delicious and it is a lovely little bistro. Staff were very friendly and accommodating (we arrived late) and made sure that our food was served in good time as we had to leave by a certain time. Would definitely recommend this place.

What could have been a nice venue with a renowned founder/head chef, our recent dining experience was unfortunately ruined by a very arrogant manager. They both charged us for items we did not order, and when we gently pointed it out he scoffed at my wife and changed the subject.Extremely disappointing.

If I could give this restaurant more than five stars it would be at least seven. I had the cheese selection to start with which was generously portioned and delicious. But the standout was the Cheeky Bourguignon. It wasn't just cheeky: it was downright slutty! Like being stalked by Isabelle Huppert. My wife had the Prawns to start and the Mustard Chicken for a main and she was equally blown away. The staff were friendly and attentive; the atmosphere was relaxed and informal. I'll be back!!!!

A great place, proper French food, unpretentious good food without frills. They have you with the aroma as you enter! We ate early with a long drive ahead, service excellent, no delays but not rushed. 3 of us with 3 different starters and mains, and all 6 dishes were really good. Generous portions and lack of time meant we skipped dessert, but had good espressos instead. Only minor criticisms were no low-alcohol beer (but I guess most patrons aren't driving) and my bourguignon was a bit salty.

As a french we love la petite ferme ! But we think they deserve more than 5 stars actually ! We love to spend our time there. The food and the service are amazing! Omg the racleeeettttteeeeeee…..! Thank you very much for the génépi! It was great ! See you soon with our family again!

First time ever having raclette and it was absolutely stunning!! Mussels were also awesome. Beautiful broth where I dipped every slice of bread we had on the table. We will definitely be back very soon. Service was also friendly and very attentive. 10/10

We had such a fantastic evening at La Petite Ferme! It is such a unique and cosy restaurant where everyone is well looked after. We ordered the ‘all you can eat Raclette’ which was delicious and heartwarming, a real authentic taste of France. Our waiter, Erwan, was hilariously brilliant and more than accommodating. We can’t wait to visit again on our next trip to London! Thank you for a lovely experience ❤️

One of my favourite restaurants in London! The food is sublime and the service exceptional. I booked for my mum's birthday on the day (as plans changed around) and they originally didn't have space for all 7 of us (we're a big family!) but moved around a couple of bookings to accommodate! And we were one of two big groups and the restaurant was full and still the service and food was faultless. I've been once before too just with my partner and we also received the same brilliant service and delicious food. Cannot recommend this place highly enough - it is a total gem!

When London become French alpes, even in such a strange time this restaurant could bring us back to an amazing high quality french food, especially the Raclette but as well this amazin Rousette wine and obviously the green chartreuse before another sad lockdown for bars and restaurants.... Si si si. Vine con un amigo para raclette ilimitado (¡los dos somos franceses y nos encanta la raclette!). El queso y los lados estaban deliciosos y el servicio fue extremadamente amable y cortés, lo cual es raro en Londres. Daría más de 5 estrellas si pudiera.

Sabíamos que nos esperaba un regalo.Nuestro camarero Erwan nos guió a través del menú lanzando sus recomendaciones, todas las cuales fueron un placer. Realmente disfrutamos nuestra cena del viernes temprano aquí en este pequeño restaurante francés elegante y lamentable. La decoración es muy bonita y el servicio es atento. El menú es tranquilizadoramente breve. Comimos una ensalada de queso de cabra con miel, higos y nueces, finamente equilibrada. No me gustaron las croquetas de pescado porque no soy fanático del eneldo, pero a él le encantaron. Comí gambas y papas al horno que estaban deliciosas pero demasiadas papas para mí. Tenía el risotto de calabacín, que fue un éxito. Regresaremos por la raclette. Realmente se preocupan por la comida que sirven y la experiencia tenue de 8 mg.

Lovely. The place, the food are amazing and tasty. The food is made with finess and well balanced. It's not too much and just enough. I recommend it ! I had a great time with my partner for a good price. A nice escapade.

Came here for dinner, food was decent. Not the best but certainly not bad. Everything was going well until we requested the bill and were told that their wifi had gone down during the service and so we would only be able to pay by cash - our bill came up to nearly £400 so not exactly ideal. What annoyed us was the fact that we weren't made aware of this situation when it happened. When we raised it with one of the waiters (he may have been a manager), I made a little joke saying "so can we get a discount then?", I didn't expect for him to say yes, it was just a friendly remark. He then asked why and I said it wasn't our fault that the wifi was done--again, all said in jest and with a smile. He dryly replied: "so? Is it my fault?". The tone was set from there and so we refused to go get cash out, they eventually found a way to use the card machine (which makes me wonder if the wifi was actually down). Basically just a rude bunch of people running this place. Extremely dismissive and lacking in manners. I won't be back.

Habiendo frecuentado varios restaurantes en nuestras visitas a Francia a lo largo de los años, estábamos ansiosos por un "sabor de Francia" en Londres.Lamentablemente nos decepcionó.Teníamos el plato principal de boeuf bourguignon, que era más como un estofado de carne británico típico! Dudo que algún ramillete de hierbas se haya cruzado en su camino y careciera totalmente de la riqueza de cualquier vino tinto que se haya agregado a la salsa.Nos aconsejaron tener el puré de papa con nuestra comida y a 5 por porción era demasiado caro. El puré se borró totalmente en una textura de crema espesa que se disolvió en un líquido blanco al entrar en contacto con la comida. El puré estaba aromatizado con trufa (¿posiblemente una razón para el alto precio?), Pero esto no hizo nada por el sabor, la textura o el disfrute.Con una gran cantidad de lugares para comer en Londres tan ricos y variados, esperábamos mejorar de este establecimiento.La Petite Ferme definitivamente no estará en nuestra lista de lugares para volver a visitar en nuestros futuros retornos a Londres.

We went on a Monday evening. They had a gypsy jazz quartet playing which was great to listen to as we ate. The service was impeccable and was matched by the food, the snail starter was simply gorgeous.

Lamento decirlo, pero este es el peor restaurante francés en el que he estado. . .Pasamos, nos gustó el aspecto de este restaurante desde el exterior, revisamos las críticas de Trip Advisor (que son geniales) y les creímos y decidimos reservar.Tan pronto como entramos, supe que no deberíamos reservar este lugar.Más frío, los miembros del personal más desagradables ni siquiera saludaron, no sonrieron, no tenían habilidades básicas de servicio al cliente. Acaban de verificar la reserva y no se molestaron en acompañarnos a nuestra mesa.El menú era bastante pequeño, selección de bebidas también. . .Cada vez que le preguntamos algo, el camarero se comportó como si no pudiera molestarse en responder y como si realmente no quisiera estar allí.Nos sentimos extremadamente desagradables.Las porciones de comida eran pequeñas y la comida estaba por debajo de la media.La cantidad de vino en copas era ridículamente pequeña, nunca había visto algo así en mi vida, básicamente era suficiente para un sorbo.En la parte superior de todo, el lugar rápidamente se volvió extremadamente ruidoso al nivel en el que no se podía escuchar su propia voz. Ok, no pueden hacer nada al respecto, eso solo se suma a la experiencia ya desagradable.Rápidamente terminamos nuestra comida y nos fuimos.Dos miembros del personal "saludaron" de la misma manera que nos íbamos, completamente inexpresivos.No sé cómo estas personas están haciendo negocios y quién realmente quiere regresar y dejar su dinero en un lugar donde claramente no se lo valora como cliente.

The food was amazing, the atmosphere was authentic. The service was very good and the staff was very friendly. They did run out of Camembert but gave us a beautiful alternative Reblochon, the risotto was just perfect in flavour and intensity and the serving size was just enough. Delicious - thank you

Went to La Petite Ferme for a second time with friends, we shared a delicious meal, great wine selection and the service always very friendly and thoughtful. I am definitely coming back to taste the rest of the menu. If you're going make sure to have a raclette (veggie option is so yummy) and the mac n comté cheese is a must!

Wanted a not too expensive lunch menu and found this french restaurant. Proved to be everything we were looking for, especially the delicious mousse dessert on the Market set menu of peach, cream and a dash of lime.

First time here this evening. Service was excellent, charming waiter, and the food was fantastic. Can't fault anything, will definitely be visiting again.

El servicio fue excelente, con el gerente manteniendo el restaurante abierto para mí y mi novia durante un tiempo considerable después de que debería haber cerrado. La raclette era interminable y definitivamente vale la pena probar los caracoles si esa es tu taza de té. La lista de vinos era corta pero de alto grado, teníamos el malbec y era encantador. The restaurant has a cosy envoirnment to have a date but it's perfect to hangout with friends. The food is very good with a special twist that can be remembered. A little hot inside for many people but it's a French restaurant, right?

Went with 3 friends for a Friday catch up lunch. Lovely environment, great menu. I thoroughly enjoyed the beef bourguignon. I agree with some other reviews that the portions are a bit small but great for a lunch and I'd rather have smaller and great taste than volume and average quality. I would certainly go again and would recommend.

Teníamos la intención de optar por el menú del día, pero nos atrajeron al boeuf-bourguignon, que era una gran elección, muy bien cocinado, pero hay que pagar 5 por las papas u otros lados, lo cual es caro.

Fui llevado por un colega, que estaba recibiendo a un grupo de visitantes nacionales e internacionales que habían asistido a una conferencia juntos. La noche comenzó bien, y tengo que decir que un menú encantador fue presentado y servido sin fallas.

Have visited La Ferme twice now, once at lunchtime and once in the evening. An absolutely charming somewhat quirky place about a 15 minute walk from Farringdon station on Farringdon Road. It is quite rustic and informal. Took the £20 three course Menu du Marche which was delicious. Either variety of beetroots or charcuterie for starter. The charcuterie was tasty, of good quality and served with fresh bread. For main course we took the beautiful rabbit dish and the chicken. Both were served with two delicious side dishes and tasted superb. A cheese platter and sweet dessert followed. Incredible value for money. The wine was of excellent quality and inexpensive. Service was attentive, polite and the waiter was happy to engage in conversation.

We were taken here by our business partners and it proved to be a great find. Extremely good food, with a lot of thought and effort put into taste and presentation, fantastic selection of wine too. Highly recommended.

We visited for a team lunch and most of us had the Menu du Marche - however, neither of the mains were vegetarian (one was lamb and the other fish) so one colleague chose from the Menu de la Ferme instead. The food was beautifully cooked, well-presented and reasonable portions. The French cidre was also delicious. Service was slow, but we weren't in a rush and it was extremely hot anyway so we didn't want to hurry.

To this pretty French restaurant for romantic dinner. Lovely ambience, 10 minutes from Sadlers Wells, so perfect for supper after a short performance. Light filled and pretty, with gentle French music in the background, limited menu but good and inexpensive - we had charcuterie, chicken ballotine ( absolutely delicious) and cheese ( the waiter told us the best order in which to eat them, very French!) all very good, and 2 bottles of very pleasant wine. Recommended for good simple French food and wine in pleasant surroundings, and definitely a go to for me if I’m in the area.

There are many little restaurants gems on Regent's Park Road and we picked La Ferme for lunch. The ambiance was inviting: a clean and crisp interior with the feel of a genuine small French bistro. One staff member had bit of an attitude: I tried to order in French from the French menu and he repeated my order in English, as if to make sure he understood my imperfect French. Our server asked if we wanted water and I replied 'yes, tap water is fine'. The restaurant was bustling and our food arrived surprisingly quickly along with an opened bottle of water with "Evian" in small letters on the top.Our scrambled eggs and salad and bread were delicious. Our bill was 33 pounds including 5 pounds for that bottle of opened "Evian" and two glasses of cider. All is all, the lunch was good, but I think there are better places to eat on Regent's Park Road.

The little French Restaurant was a fabulous find. We had the five course taste menu which was beautiful. Perfect portions and all slowly building on flavour! The rhubarb dish was divine!

I've walked by La Ferme on Farringdon Road many times, but never had opportunity to visit. That opportunity arose last week when I was walking by and popped in for dinner.

Ojalá me he podría dar un 5 porque algunos amigos me hablaron mucho sobre este lugar, pero me parece que no tuvimos suerte. El ambiente es bueno, es muy bonito y el camarero es muy bonita y prestar atención al cliente.

Desde el momento que entras en hasta el momento en que sales, estás en Francia. Este país tema pero lugar francés cocina parisina es simplemente uno de los mejores alrededor de experiencias que he tenido en cualquier gran ciudad. Empezamos con cócteles creativos y nos trasladamos a la sopa de tomate tarta de melón, un foie gras, y los caracoles para la aps. Oh mi; yo estaba en Francia. Para el plato principal, tuvimos el pollo, la ternera, el marisco y el pato especial burger. Todos eran para morirse. El servicio era excelente y como una ventaja, había un combo de tres piezas jugando toda la noche (acordeón, bass y sax). Estuvimos allí desde su apertura hasta el cierre y disfrutamos de cada minuto. Para el postre, tuvimos el melocotón especial, la bola de ron y la creme brulée. Muy, muy bueno. Los vinos eran muy razonables y la lista era adecuado. Me encantó. Si puedes, consigue una reserva e ir! ! !

A este recién llegado relativo (2 años? Para la cena con amigos). Interesante menú francés, comida relativamente simple, pero muy bueno. Excelente champaña de coupés enorme al final de la noche. Cerca de Sadlers Wells y un reemplazo para el demised tristemente Mise en Bouche. Recomendado.

La Ferme terletak dekat dengan pasar Clarkenwell yang memang merupakan deretan kawasan wisata kuliner. Restoran ini sendiri didekor secara tradisional dengan dominasi kayu. Hidangan yang disajikan termasuk klasik seperti misalnya salad kentang dan bacon. Harganya termasuk menegah.

Booked via Bookatable which is usually very good. Booked for 3 courses and unlimited wine for £30.Menu was very limited. Our first course was a charcuterrie board but only 2 small slices of salami, plain ham and a dob of pate. Not great. Next course chicken with rosemary and thyme with palenta - was a big bowl of palenta with white stewed chicken on top, a whole bowl of white.My cheese board was quite good but my husbands dessert was fruits in a dry filo pastry case- he could not eat it.The waiter was friendly enough but the wine was certainly not free flowing as advertised and we had to keep asking for replenishment, at which point our glasses were taken out the back to be filled with what - I dread to think. Surely they could have used a carafe?All in all we were very disappointed and certainly did not feel we had got value for money. We would not recommend .

Dinner on a Monday night, an extra treat with a music trio: bass, violin, and accordion, transporting us to France. This is a very small restaurant, reservations essential. The food was fabulous, as was the service. Food came out beautifully presented. Definitely a locals restaurant, outside the touristy part of London. Loved the evening!

At £15 for two courses or £20 for three you really cannot go wrong at La Ferme. Although the choice is limited to two options per course, the quality is high and the portions just right for those who do not want to eat excessively. Two of us had the 'flan' with horseradish sauce to start; this was very good, though overchilled. Our friend had the charcuterie plate, which looked first class. For mains two of us had chicken with polenta, plus one marinated salmon with mange touts. We ordered desserts off the main menu rather than the set - two La Figue, one La Peche. All very good indeed, and nicely washed down with two affordable bottles of wine. Given that all of this added up to £45 each for three courses and quite a lot of wine, it is clear the La Ferme offers a fine meal at an affordable price. The 'carte' looked a good deal more expensive in comparison. Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere; definitely worth a return visit.

Came with my mum for her birthday and the gypsy jazz band were great. We also had a nice table by the band and the window with plenty of space.Ordered snails for starter and they first of all tried to claim they had none left, but when I looked massively crestfallen and pleading the waiter said they would do me a portion. They were the nicest snails I have ever eaten, and the bread was tasty. Mums charcuterie board was generous and very much enjoyed. Mums main was chicken and tomato stew which I thought looked small and lacked presentation, but she said she liked it. Also the wedges she had on the side were stale and definitely reheated. My main looked pretty, it was pork, in a sort of disc shape, but was way too fatty for me, the fat was all the way through it. Sadly I sent it back, which was a shame as if it hadn't have been so fatty the taste would have been great. I decided against a replacement. Atmosphere with the band was really lovely, but sadly my meal wasn't what I was hoping for, other than the snails which I thoroughly recommend. Definitely come for the band on Mondays, but avoid the pork dish if you can't eat lots of fat!

Très bon restaurant à la déco originale et raffinée, ambiance romantique assurée. Nous avons adoré et nous nous sommes régalés avec les asperges, le velouté au wasabi, l'assiette de charcuterie ou le cochon de lait et le burger au canard confit! Quant aux desserts, un vrai régal pour les papilles également! Bravo au chef et à son équipe très sympathique. À tester sans hésiter!

Cuisine créative, bien faite je recommande les asperges en entrées ; excellentes.On sent la fraîcheur et la qualité des produits travaillés. Qui plus est lors de notre dîner, il y a eu un boeuf improvisé de jazz manouche ce qui a rajouté au charme du restaurant.Atmosphère détendue, service discret et attentif.

A wonderful little restaurant in London, it takes you into a romantic Parisian atmosphere. Food is excellent and you can enjoy it with a bottle of french wine. Service also excellent, Francois, the young owner, is really kind. I recommend it and I hope to visit La Ferme as soon as possible.

A very tasteful french Parisian type restaurant, small but enticing.A wonderful selection well presented and well devised menu.The background wall colour needs ageing to allow for a warmer environment. A small but important addition to dining in and around Clerkenwell....

This is an extraordinary good value restaurant owned and run by 24 year old Francois. We went to a wine tasting/dinner there last week. Great modestly priced wines and many small courses of superb authentic French food. Astonishing value and I highly recommend it and when back in London in April will immediately return.

Excellent accueil, dans un lieu chaleureux, offrant une cuisine savoureuse et originale , mettant en avant des produits frais et authentiques. Le chois des vins est judicieux avec des prix raisonnables . Le lieu offre également beaucoup d'événements, dîners à thème, dégustations, jazz....

I visited early in the evening and with only a few customers there was still a really good ambience. I then dined there as part of a group of 25 for a birthday and thedécor and staff really came into their own, there was a great buzz and we all lovedit. Good food, wine, atmosphere and great staff , highly recommend it.

Without any doubt this is for me the best French restaurant in Islington.The food &amp; wine are absolutely fantastic, with an incredible value for money.Great service and a lovely, cosy atmosphere too. FANTASTIC !

This is my third trip to this restaurant over the last year. When it first opened, I was a little uncertain as to how well it would do being very close to some very high performing restaurants, for example Moro, The Eagle and the Quality Chop House. The proximity to Exmouth Market means there is a lot of competition but thankfully it has lasted and appears to be flourishing.Front of house staff are very friendly and pleasant to talk to. Watching them zip around the dining room during a full on service is mildly exhausting. The menu is a mixture of bistro classics and a more modern cuisine. A refreshingly short menu with very well executed dishes; nothing less than excellent. Wine list is again short and good value. I am really pleased that it has lasted the distance and will definitely return

I tried this restaurant with two friends and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was an intimate place with a nice rustic setting where you could feel at home n a farm. The food was excellent: I had a pigeon which was very well presented and my two friends had a delicious duck. A big plus of this place was the noise level: I could talk to my friends without having to shout! A rare experience in London restaurants.

In love with that restaurant doing coffee shop in the morning ! They have amazing pastry for the .Irving to grab with a nice coffee.I recommend to wake up early, to enjoy a coffee with the newspaper in this French athmosphere !Attention ! Dinner busy, I recommend to go there at lunch or early dinner to avoid the rush. Can be a perfect athmosphere for business meeting.

Possibly the frenchest restaurant I've been to in London. Very cosy place for lunch with nice decor and warm service. Food is of the small fine dining nature with amazing presentation. I had crab ravioli followed by pigeon with some trendy veg. Portions are small but enjoyable
