La Dolce Vita in East Ayrshire

The menu was very nice and a great selection of starters and mains. The staff were very friendly and very helpful in answering our questions. The meals were served promptly and they were hot. The dessert was also very tasty and I recommend the terramisu! Heather, our waitress was very friendly and had a great sense of humour too. She is also a co-owner with her husband Vito who is the pizza chef

I had to write and thank the staff for looking after me on Saturday, evening of 19/10/2024. I have a food allergy which is very serious and the staff could not do enough to keep me safe. It is so nice to find a restaurant who value their customers safety and not look at me as an inconvenience as many do. The food was great and lots of it. I would definitely return. Thank you so much.

Best place in East Kilbride for any Italian food. Blows everywhere else out the water, friendly staff and great atmosphere!

Table booked at 6.30. Drinks and starters arrived promptly Then waited over an hour and 15mins for our main courses to appear This was also the scenario on our previous Saturday evening visit During this lengthy wait the staff constantly asked if we wanted more drinks but made no attempt to explain the delay Food was passable but not worth the wait. The staff are pleasant but food here is mediocre. Its reasonably priced which might explain all tables being booked Bar staff also need some training on how to prepare spirits as all our drinks were drowned in mixers. Would not recommend and won't return as the other EK Italian restaurants are far superior

Went with friends, there was five of us and all ordered starters and mains. The starters were great with a great choice as was the mains. We all ordered different dishes but we were all pleased with our choice. Food was plentiful , very tasty and piping hot. Great selection of wines. Service very friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing food and service. Pizza was think and crispy and loaded with mushroom, ham and red onion. Spaghetti and meatballs was fab. Both piping hot. Waitresses are lovely and so attentive and polite. Really reasonably priced and decent wine list. Now our favourite go to Italian in EK.

We ate from the lunch menu, good choice of dishes, good value. Nice friendly staff would visit again

Popped in on the way home and got myself a fish supper. Must admit in all my years in using local chip shops this has to be worst ever. Th batter was like chewing a piece of plaster. Absolutely solid and the whole supper had a tinge of a plasticy burnt taste and ended up in the bin and the small piece I did have ended up with indigestion half the night. Also no Covid 19 Safety Procedures in place . A danger to the public and the Staff ... Hate sending this type of feedback as I am a great believer in supporting local business .... It was just awful...

Family order including fish and chips, chicken nuggets, curry sauce and deep fried mushrooms. Very disappointed although hungry most went in the bin. Fish needed longer cooking and was saturated with fat. When waiting staff struggling to keep up with online orders and as a result obvious fast food is replacing quality food. Used to be a great chippy, sadly no more. Sorry but wouldnt return or recommend.

Food arrived over hour later than advised after I chased it several times with the pizza place and it fact it was over 2 hours since I ordered it. To add insult to injury it was stone cold so I called up again and complained about it and we got a fresh order which was hot. I would never order in this way again. Very disappointing and just over 2 hours is ridiculous

Delivery was quick considering it was a Saturday night. However the pizza had to much sauce

Order was meant to be ready for collection at 17.55 as per confirmation from the shop itself. Arrived shortly after this time to be told it would be another 15 mins. Eventually got my order at 18.25 pretty much a full hour after ordering. On the food, the pizza was burnt, the chicken kebabs were poorly filled overall very disappointed. Just reminded me why I stopped going here.

Didn’t even arrive!! Order was accepted by Camlough. Who then after 2 hours transferred the order to Newry. Who then wouldn’t process it for 30 mins meaning around a total of 3.5hours wait!!! The place has went down hill something serious! Staff have absolutely no clue what is going on around them!

Very friendly delivery driver, pizza was 15minutes early and food was nice and hot. Plenty of toppings on the pizza. Pregnancy cravings have been satisfied. Many thanks.

Food arrived and was cold.. sone cold. Having to heat chips up in a microwave is not ideal. Pizza currently in oven heating up! Very unimpressed!

i think the restaurant has bad manager skills and could get better till staff that send out the right time for delivery so the costomers would get there food on time and not waiting over an hour for there food

first order was wrong, put salad on the pizza when I clearly ordered a chip kebab pizza, waited 15 minutes in the la dolce vita shop for a wrong order. Waited another hour for the correct order

Food was cold when we got it said it would be ready at 6.50 and boyfriend was there at 6.55 and ordered a big bottle off coke and never got it its such a disgrace as food is nice

Ive never had la dolce vita delivered hot before, it was so quick and everything was lovely and hot, i even had to tell the child to leave his pizza a few mins to cool that never happens!!

40 mins late, food was cold and order was completely wrong.

Kebabs were class for a chance! Chilli sauce was really nice. Different than before. Was nice :)

Food was disgusting got a chicken chip kebab pizza and it was burnt the crust would've broke ur teeth and you couldn't taste chicken or chips all you could taste was the sauce definitely wouldn't get any fing from here again really disappointed

pizza was cold and soggy, chicken combo was average at best, wedges edible, delivery was quick enough, had heard good reports about this place I personally would not eat from here again

Ordered food at 17:50 & received food @19:40. I also received the email to say my food was delivered twenty minutes prior to me getting the food. They also rang me to confirm my address at 18:10 I would have appreciated at that stage if they were busy to let me know how long I would be waiting.

Got a different order to what I ordered and what was confirmed!! Was also charged for the different order!

Moved to Newmilns in October '14, what a brilliant 'chippy' they have just about everything including pizzas, such helpful & friendly people as well, highly recommended. Ed

Just moved into Newmilns and thought we would try the local chippy...we had sausage and chips....fish and chips and donner meat and chips....staff very helpful and friendly and the shop looked very clean...Impressed with the food and shall be back....This is a carry out establishment....
