Great quality food, hot and fresh. delivered early which was a nice surprise and the portion size was great. Definitely order from here again.

Old school type chippy, nae peely wally tasteless chips like elsewhere.

Never had a problem with them afore, normally pretty good. Not tonight! Food was dripping with oil,soaked though all paper, being a chef I know when oil is old and their oil needed changed! Phoned up only to be told nothen could be done about.no help what so ever. Great customers services! Not! Pretty much £30 out a pocket from here then £20 on food else where as the food from here wasn't edible!

Went here for the first time tonight and will definitely be the last. The chips were dark brown and the sausage was soggy with horrible batter. My husband got fritters and fish and again tasted horrible They definitely need to change there cooking oil. It really was disgusting. No wonder it was empty. Wasn't worth the money avoid it.

Me and my wife went there for a quick bit to eat the chip were ok but the batter on the fish and sausage was so soggy it was horrible and was tasteless. Also we asked for haddock pretty sure it wasn’t what they give us. Wouldn’t recommend

Have used Fridays quite often but have to say a delivery i got on Saturday evening was disappointing. The batter on the fish was a bit too thick and chewy and the chips were very dark as if they were previously cooked and then put back in the fryer, also the portion was full of crumbles so half were thrown out.

I ordered a portion of onion rings on the side expecting them to be proper chippy batter onion rings so was disappointed when it arrived and was just a handful of the frozen ones that don't even have whole onions in it. other than that the rest of the order was perfect

Not the quickest service but usually worth the wait. Good menu and fair prices. One of Killie's best. deliveries and pre orders also available. No wheelchair access due to step. Small car park nearby.

Can't get anyone to answer the phone, maybe they have stopped delivering or are using just eat again .

To me frydsys is the best in town, and I've tried a good few , food is always fresh just the way I like it, keep it up Fridays.

A lovely wee shop with friendly front of house staff but........while the fish and chips weren't bad they weren't great either. It came awfully quick which makes me worry in a place like this. Way too much batter on the fish meant that it wasn't as hot through as it should be and that the batter was chewy and overly thick. The chips were decent but overall it felt like it was sat waiting to be boxed up (there was a lot already cooked, seemingly waiting on the hot tray for the dinner time rush) rather than cooked fresh. Maybe to do with the guy on the fryer only cooking with one hand while his other was holding his phone to his ear. Quite possible we were just unlucky as there are so many great reviews, it's just a shame that we didn't get the same experience as so many others.

Have used Frydays often with no problems, this time we bought 2 fish suppers (one large and one small) with three pieces of fish but we all thought that the fish was overcooked which meant it was quite dry so there was some parts of the fish was not eaten. Will still be happy to try again though.

Order hasn’t arrived. Ordered around 8:30pm. Order says delivered at 9:45, it’s now 10:37pm and still no sign of food. Restaurant is closed, but we called restaurant 5 times and got no answer.

Food is terrific and the staff are lovely. Parking is not bad as there is a bit near Frydays that you can park at. But recently that parking bit has been full with the winter wonderland event at Dean Castle. Other than that, the place is great, I highly recommend, and also its good to go to since The Plaice To Be is shut, maybe forever. Some people were saying the Plaice to be was coming back, but it hasn't, so maybe that was somewhere else, but it said Kilmarnock, and there only is one in Kilmarnock I think.

Food came really quick. The fish suppers were delicious and huge portions. Definitely would order again

Excellent... what can i say, the requested time for delivery was spot on!! the young guy that delivered the order was so nice, (only thing he didnt wait we had a tip for him, pass on our compliments to him for his lovely manner. The food was delicious. 10 out of 10

Don't get the smoked sausage supper the size of the smoked sausage is the same as a kids portion, and they had the cheek to charge me £5.80 for the privilege!!

Amazing very hot food, I got the munchies box 1 and it was delicious, my husband got a fish supper. We received everything early, piping hot and it wasn't greasy at all. Definitely be ordering again. Safe to say my favourite chippy

Anytime we order a chippy it's always Frydays we use as the food has always been really good - until this evening! I usually order chicken fillets, which has always been fresh chicken breast in a nice light batter! Although it appears they may have run out of chicken and sent someone on a farmfoods run as they delivered something that resembled the birdseye southern fried breaded chicken steaks and was like mush inside! I hope this is not a permanent change to the chicken fillets!

Best chip shop in area, fast delivery, excellent service. Its always who i order from when want good chip shop dinner. You won't be disappointed I Promise. 5 star's.

45 minutes late and delivery driver had cheek to ask for 30p for the batter on pizza wont be using this place again

I thought I wasn't getting my food as it was asking me to review my order I'd not got it then I put in for my money back . It got refused by you .. but all good I got food it was really nice ..just not good your phone lines are constantly off the hook so noone can get through.would have been nice to ar least talk to your customers when a problem arises

Great black pudding supper a few times,then got a black pudding supper on the 9th December, and wasn't impressed,bottom of black pudding was burnt,chips and fritters soggy,wouldn't go back.

Food was okay however delivery was late, ordered at 17:30 arrived at 19:10pm …improvements needed

Meal was fine but I had ordered one tub of curry sauce and one tub of peas but got two tubs of peas instead.

Food was fine, but I ordered a can and a bottle of irn-bru, and they brought two cans, one of which was sugar free for some reason. Decent food though.
