Had breakfast here twice. Very nice full English breakfast, very reasonable price and quick service. My review would have been excellent but the cafe seating area needs cleaning (dusty and dirty round the counter and skirting under the windows) and a small overcharge on the 2nd visit. With a bit of attention to the little details this place would be even better.

A great find. Had the full English breakfast. It was tasty and cooked well. Very happy. Extremely good value compared to other places nearer the front. Set us up for the day. Would thoroughly recommend

Not visited previously. Both enjoyed a breakfast bap, are able to choose filling. Had bacon, sausage & egg. Very tasty and excellent value. Also a latte, tasty but not quite hot enough for my liking.

If you visit Swanage do NOT miss this little gem. Unbelievably good value. We had a light lunch on Folk Festival day. The town was heaving. This little café was a haven of peace! Two freshly made sandwiches with salad, a can of coke, a coffee AND a perfectly chilled bottle of Isla Negra came to a whapping total of just £14!!

Having arrived in Swanage quiet early in the morning for a week with friends. Arrived quiet early and wanting a bit to eat we then arrived at the greasy spoon cafe. Thinking this was just a play on words as it was a cafe. Went in an ordered breakfast for 4. Having waited for a little while expecting what we thought would be good as we had waited. Was probably one of the worst meals I have ever been served. The staff where nice but unfortunately the the food was awful. It was inedible. They did not charge me. But my friends payed for what they had. Full English was 2 rashers of over cooked bacon 1 jumbo sausage made from sawdust Hash 🤮 brown Half a fried tomato An egg that was made by haribo and then fried 4 slices of mushroom that had been dragged across the floor. And some toast to resole my moccasins. And a piece of black pudding that was like a Guinness bottle top.

This place was exactly what you'd want from a fry up cafe. Good portion sizes, tasty food, and great price. Would highly recommend

Eclectic mix of pictures and furniture (including 2 airline seats!), providing great value freshly cooked food. Very cheesy omelette and nice chips! Friendlier service than the bakery round the corner too!!

I went to this beautiful spot with my mum on a lovely spring day. The view down to the river from the terrace is stunning, and is very tranquil. The food surpassed my (and mum's) expectations. I had a lovely fish soup, and sea bream, with vegetable tagliatelle, saffron potatoes and pea veloute. Mum had wasabi cured trout with dorset crab, followed by dover sole (with more crab!), the latter of which she said was one of the best dishes that she has ever had, and she's been fortunate enough to eat in a fair few top restaurants. When it came to dessert, I ordered the cheese and rather than bring the cheese trolley out onto the terrace they gave me small pieces of all eight cheeses. Which worked for them, as the table behind us promptly ordered the cheese. Cris and Ajay were attentive, (without being all over you) and genuinely wanted you to enjoy yourselves. All in all an experience I intend to repeat.

I was very excited to try this fish and chips for takeaway with my partner on the weekend. He had fish and chips and I had sausage and chips. Unfortunately, both of us ended up getting food poisoning. The fish and sausage both stood out in the heat lamps, so not sure if this had anything to do with it. Either way been feeling unwell for couple of days now. Hopefully something can happen about this as it can kill someone’s next time.
