We had pre- dinner drinks Thursday evening in early July… We were going to a nearby restaurant and after checking on Map app found this place (somewhere newish as wife works nearby)… Difficult to see if the place was open or closed as there was no sign of movement inside / or open sign on the front door, however we opened the door and entered… The setting/decor & layout was nice. The bar area was like an open - plan kitchen layout, quite modern in style…. A nice attentive Italian waiter welcomed us and took order…Perhaps I should’ve looked at the drinks menu or prices more thoroughly, my wife ordered a non-alcoholic cocktail and I ordered espresso martini… We asked the waiter if he had any bar snacks/nibbles, he brought over some olives which were nice…. To say I nearly had a heart attack when the bill came for the two drinks at + £40 something pounds is an understatement…. Have prices gone up that much even though we are in Mayfair? Anyway nice experience but way overpriced….

Lovely little find. Great cocktails with a twist. Atmospheric setting with friendly and knowledgeable staff. We will return when we next visit London.

Popped into this great little bar after not being able to get into the Ritz on Tuesday 5h December for cocktails and we were not disappointed. Delicious cocktails with unusual ingredients some of which are home made with knowledgeable and very helpful staff serving us .They really turned around an evening which could have been a disaster into a very memorable one .Thank you Guisy and Gzhi you made our evening would employ you any day .

Stratton Street and Berkeley Street are crying out for a high quality casual bar to meet informally without pretention or barriers to entry. Kwant consummately fails to deliver. The first warning sign is the bouncer on the door who rather ridiculously allows you to enter only as far as the threshold. From there you have to wait to be seated, and woe betide you if you step forward into the bar without permission - the bouncer will hail you back (and this was at 6 o'clock in the evening when the place was half empty!). Another sigh of disenchantment occurs on discovering that the entire floor area is populated by tables and chairs denser than a crammed restaurant. You are forced to sit. There is no space (or permission) to stand and enjoy a cocktail informally. It is more like an A&E waiting area than a joyful bar. The staff are crisp, manicured and formal, dressed for a 1930's ocean liner. It 's all too affected and contrived and unrelaxed. Such a disappointment. My advice to them, when they have got over the anxiety of their first month, is for goodness sake lighten up, let people in casually instead of behaving like UK Border Force, and allow people to stand and enjoy themselves. Then more of us Stratton Street habitués will give you rich custom

I don’t know where to start with this one... Erik is not just a mixologist. He travels the world mixing for high nett worth individuals and it’s very easy to see why. Kwant is absolutely unique not just in London but I have never experienced anything like this ever. I have had cocktails before but Erik doesn’t do cocktails he does something much more. His staff are all hand picked from the great and the good across the globe and he has no staff turnover at all. They have all been with him since the start. They are his paduans; the drinks that are prepared at kwant tap into your memory. They evoke feelings and emotions that you hardly recognise but they return like a surprise visit from a favourite uncle. The decor is on an entirely different level and only serve as an amuse bouche for what is to come. On our visit last night there were patrons that came just for the champagne but a lot were there to recapture something. Obviously there were wealthy people there but they know that spending a little more will complete the experience. 2 tables away from us was a thirty something Japanese couple that emerged themselves in the experience so much that they started playing a private drinking game revisiting something from years ago obviously. But the teal treasure is tucked away behind something barely recognisable as a door off the main lounge; Erik has a laboratory where he creates the memories that one is force fed during the experience. Take for example the Wimbledon: this is a unique drink that contains the only most basic essence of strawberries and cream. Every part of this cocktail has been meticulously planned from the features of the glass to the absolutely clear ice which is invisible, through its colour, taste and measures of contents to drag one back at a startling rate of speed to the long hot days of summer. Eriks lab is full of fantastic mystical machinery to create these experiences not to create wealth for him and his team but to give people something that has been long lost in back of a fading memory store... the man is a god among men. A true romancer with a story to spread. A visit to kwant needs to be on everybodies bucket list... we will be back!

Вошел в рейтинг the World’s 50 best bars 2019. И он того действительно стоит: классные бармены, отличное обслуживание, красивый интерьер и стиль, и вкусные необычные коктейли.

Loved Giovanni our bartender. Friendly and chatty - recommended drinks for us. Made cocktails for us that weren't on the menu. Great feeling to the place. On the pricey side, but worth it. Definitely recommend!

Delicatessen Very expensive, double the price of others in London. Bought loads of things, one week later went to another Portuguese delicatessen, that's when I realised the difference in price.

Excellent, thank you. Only problem, female waitress was asked for butter but it didn’t ever arrive. More vegan dishes would be good - Quorn etc.

Amazing atmosphere and food. The staff are so welcoming and the Austrian live music somehow turns the restaurant into a dance party. The area near the stairs is calmer if you prefer more quiet. I love
