Great lesser known Indian in Ballyhackamore. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. I will be back.

The best Bangladeshi about, great curries and naan. Brilliant service and the hospitality was outstanding. Really think this place gets overlooked and its a shame how good it is. I would recommend this place to anyone and implore you to give it a go.

I came here as a spur of the moment decision while in Belfast with family. At short notice the friendly and attentive staff had us sitting comfortably at a table for 6 with really delicious food. The onion bhaji was not only the tastiness I’ve ever had the pleasure to eat, but also the most beautiful. We were made very welcome and our lively children were accepted with warmth and so settled into the occasion and enjoyed their food. Next time I am in Belfast I will definitely come again.

Shocking customer service experienced by this lot; a restaurant we have supported greatly by eating in at least half a dozen times since it opened, ordering take-aways from it & introducing and recommending friends and work colleagues to it, who have it turn supported it, both in restaurant and for carry-outs. Up until now things have been great and we have had some cracking meals from there, however the time before last when ordering a delivery I received a 'chicken tikka' dish with pretty bog-standard chicken and *not* chicken tikka. Wasn't happy at all as this wasn't what I ordered and these meals aren't exactly cheap! Anyway, I received an apologetic e-mail and they said they would give us "a delicious starter free of charge" on my next delivery order. Fine - all sorted. Or so I thought...! Some days later I made another order and messaged them with the name & order no. and they replied "do we need to send you a free starter?" I responded and they read it, yet *no* starter showed up. Messaged them to say it was v.disappointing. No reply. Showed the Missus a few days later after that they *still* hadn't replied and she advised me to again message to say we hadn't heard back. *Still* nothing. We have given so much to supporting this business, yet they shamefully refuse to keep to their word and resolve a simple issue. Not only that, they completely ignore my messages. Extremely poor, and as a result, we won't be back. You have lost probably your biggest customers since you opened a few months ago through your actions.

My partner and I went for a meal to this new restaurant in east Belfast on 16/09/20. They have taken over the downstairs of the Stitt Club on Sandown Road beside the traffic lights. We were welcomed by a very pleasant gentleman who showed us to our table and gave us a bit of background on the new restaurant, the new decor looked well. The menu was extensive which included mid week specials (they also do a carryout service) and it was hard to know what to choose! We decided to pick two dishes we had never tried before and are unique to this restaurants. While waiting we had complimentary poppadoms with dips and pakoras which was a very nice touch. There was also 25% reduction on the bill. Food was delicious and we left nothing on the plates! Overall we had a very nice relaxing time with a beautiful meal and good staff. We would recommend a visit.

No doubt the best Indian/ Bangladeshi food around. Wonderful nans, parathas alongside tarka dhalls. Garlicky and creamy. Lamb tender along with king prawns in a Goan vindaloo hot sauce( not a killer) . Staff great all very friendly. Some nice lamb on the bone dishes. Ask for a shahi pilau( not on menu but easy made). Large premises so needs a crowd but don’t let that put you off. Just enjoy the food

Have been at this restaurant 3 times since opening and have found it to be a fantastic culinary experience! Fresh, vibrant food and not greasy at all, either!! Great range of options to choose from on the menu, including all the popular Indian dishes, as well as many chef's recommendations. All food is beautifully and tastefully prepared and the restaurant is B.Y.O., so is extremely appealing from that point of view, also! Come & support this new restaurant in Ballyhackamore, East Belfast, folks - if you're a lover of top class Indian food, you will not leave disappointed!! At time of print, they have no dessert menu. I know that isn't to be expected - and there are plenty of 'dessert-type' venues within a few hundred yards in Ballyhackamore village, but I'd say with some moist and delicious dessert options added to their menu, this restaurant would be absolute perfection!! Fingers crossed it is something that they consider implementing... =o)

We have been here a couple of times since they opened in August. This is a really great new indian in ballyhack. The food is fantastic and fresh, the restaurant is also bring your own with a Winemark across the road. The working men’s club has just had a refurb too and now has cobra on draft at a great price! The staff are fantastic, really friendly and welcoming also. I would recommend the chicken tikka byriani and the butterfly prawn starter!

The best indian in the east in my opinion. Not sure if they do delivery but I've been several times to sit in. It's BYO, not sure if they charge corkage. The portions are quite generous and I often can't finish the main if I get a starter. It can be busy so probably best to book on weekends. The table right at the back is a bit loud with the kitchen right behind so try to sit at the front if your hearing is iffy.

We have been visiting Sarpn for many years and every meal has been delicious. Everything tastes fresh, the restaurant has a lovely family feel and is always cosy and well looked after. Highly recommend the tandoori starter mixed plate, chicken choyla, lamb bhuna and kashmiri dishes. The coconut rice is also gorgeously fragrant.
