Noisy to start with, but staff quickly moved us and it was brilliant, lovely food and not rushed. Very attentive staff.

First time at the Nu Delhi, over from Liverpool, the locals all highly recommended the place, we weren't let down. Fantastic ambience, excellent staff, exceptional food.

Food was way too spicy, a one chilli dish was served too hot to eat.

Excellent food and absolutely superb staff, spot-on service. It might cost a bit more than the average Indian, but it was worth it, an absolute treat. I recommend the Murgh Lazjeez

Lovely modern vibe and lovely food. My only issue was sadly a language barrier/miserstanding got me the wrong meal. I still enjoyed what I had and would return.

Order delayed ok things happen , but chips arrived cold and tasted like they had already been microwaved. Naan bread cold and wet through condensation in the foil packaging.

We were delighted to be invited to try a ‘Nu’ concept of dining out at the fabulous Nu Delhi Lounge, a 150 seater Indian restaurant on Great Victoria Street in Belfast. Using the best local produce, and a fusion of traditional Punjabi spices the chefs at Nu Delhi have created a menu of light, tasty and vibrant regional dishes, and we couldn’t wait to try what was on offer. First, we were treated to a fantastic starter sharing board, which included a variety of tasty appetisers; we loved the Tandoori King Prawns, the Masala Chilli Squid, and the Onion Bhajis, although everything was so good, it was hard to pick a favourite! To follow, the Monkfish Chettinadu had monkfish tikka fillets served in a coconut & coriander sauce with mustard seeds & curry leaf to deliver a gentle heat, and the stunning Paneer Shaslik had enormous chunks of homemade cottage cheese, with onions and peppers, marinated and cooked in the tandoori grill and served with Masala potatoes. Sensational! Renowned for amazing Indian cuisine, great drinks & cocktails, excellent service, and a sophisticated cosmopolitan vibe, Nu Delhi combines the traditional with the modern to create a unique and delicious dining experience.

We went for New Year’s Eve dinner with the set menu. It was some of the best Indian food we’ve ever had. Great value for the food we received, my first time have a monkfish curry, it won’t be the last. The staff were really attentive, quick and accommodating. It’s a really nice atmosphere.

Pure amazing food, great service and hospitality. We were a party of 7, arrived without reservations and they found us a seat in 20 mins. Everyone ordered something different and all 7 meals were amazing. Highly recommend speaking to the server if spicy is an issue.

Lovely place to come, lovely atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and fun. The food is pretty good but the portion sizes are confusing. You get loads of the main but comparatively small side/rice/naan; and each one is paid for separate-even through the banquet, which is otherwise pretty good value.

Reservation made via Google. Easy and quick. Mango and beef salad and bang bang chicken as a starter… very good. Buter chicken and chicken jalfrezi as a dish… excellent! All with rice and naans… Nothing to say about the dishes and the generous portions. The place is large and relatively noisy. Damage. This remains a very good address

The food was ok. Biryani was alright but tikka masala was overly sweet (I do know that it is bit sweet) or maybe it is just my preference. Overall, not too bad.

We went without reservations during Christmas holidays and still they agreed to accommodate us. Super fast service and yummiest indian food I had in belfast. The ambience of the place was also excellent. Overall excellent experience.

The food was delivered over an hour later than quoted . Some friends had left by the time it eventually arrived and I only received apologies and late food . Nice food but terrible service

The food quality was acceptable, but the overall dining experience left room for improvement. Certain dishes were overly spicy compared to other restaurants that wouldn’t have added any. Some of the service felt rushed, with certain staff members seeming overly eager to clear plates and drinks before we were finished. The hovering presence detracted from what could have been a more relaxed meal. They are currently running a Christmas menu, but after comparing it with their regular a la carte menu on their website, the value proposition is questionable - essentially paying a significant premium (around £10 more per person) for what appeared to include 1 bowl of popadoms. Lastly, the portions of rice are the smallest I’ve ever seen.

We had a super Indian meal here close to Christmas when so often meals out can be a bit hit and miss. Staff were excellent and service was extremely good. The food itself was of high quality and the venue / decor provided a great vibe. Hopefully we'll be back soon !

Very nice food but a bit pricey. However our night was ruined by the very rude service. It’s was a very busy restaurant and they seem to have a conveyor belt system for turning round tables. As soon as we were finished a course the plate was lifted. The waiters nearly stand over you watching for the last spoonful and then pounce. It wasn’t just our table another customer actually asked for their plate back..Maybe they were over booked our night but it really was very off putting.

This place was so good, we ate here two nights in a row during our stay in Belfast.

first experience collecting the order, it was marked ready for collection but took an extra 15 mins before it was actually ready. just add the additional time on to pickup so I don't have to wait in a cramped hallway. food was great which made up for the poor collection.

Very unimpressive Indian food. This place definitely does not come close to how any good authentic Indian food should taste. Currys are bland, lack flavour and meat is on the overcooked side. This is my second time here after 8 years and nothing has changed. Staff are great and atmosphere is very good!

Omg !!! Everything was 10/10 the food , the service, the decor did not expect this place to be so amazing on a midweek business trip. The service has to be mentioned as above and beyond the speed and efficiency of the service is next to none. The korma was 100% the best I have ever had I could talk all day but this the best dining experience I my have ever had. Thank you

I travel a lot and visited Nu Delhi with customers whilst on business trip. I love Jalfrezi and hotter dishes. On this occasion I ordered something a bit milder 'butter chicken'.......wow wow ...honestly the most flavoursome Indian dish I have ever had, along with incredible starters and great service. Thank you and see you on my next trip to wonderful Belfast.

Booked this place on a Monday evening thinking it would be quiet. To our amazement the place was packed. This obviously is because the food was amazing and the staff and service were excellent. Couldn’t recommend this place enough if you love Indian food. We will certainly be back

I cannot believe a top Indian restaurant does not sell Chapati or Paratha, the basic foods of India. Nan bread was a regimental dinner plate size. The Chefs must come over to Wolverhampton to see how it should be made.

The Garlic Chilli chicken was divine

Might start a petition for the restaurant and all of its staff to move over to our hometown, because it was phenomenal. We pre-booked, got taken to our table which was nice and spread out from the other tables, and then ordered away. Once the food arrived (very promptly), it was gone in seconds. My tastebuds wanted more, my stomach couldn’t take anymore, the portions were massive. I would recommend this place to anybody. After speaking to a few locals, they’d say the same thing.

I’ve been to Belfast 3 times and this is my 4th time here, will likely be back before I leave. Food is delicious, fresh and authentic with the spice level be just what you want it to be. Definitely wish I had one back home, vibe & energy is awesome and the staff is absolutely some of the most attentive I’ve experienced. 10/10!

Excellent! The garlic naan is absolutely delicious and I was pleasantly surprised to find a spicy version of Chicken Tikka Masala. In the US it's very tasty but it's sweet and tangy. This version dialed back the sweet and ramped up the spice. Very good! If you're ever in Belfast, Nu Delhi is a must visit. The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is nice.

Best Indian in Belfast! My girlfriend asked for a particular dish and they cooked it to perfection. I’m vegan and they catered to my needs. Checked on us to make sure everything was ok multiple times. Will be coming back here again very soon and recommend this place to everyone!

Went here on a recent trip to Belfast, amazing place, excellent service, food was delicious, a bit more expensive then a lot of Indian restaurants, but so worth it, tastes were amazing, especially the main Monk Fish Dish

I would give this place more than 5 stars, if I could! The food was incredible, the waitstaff were absolutely amazing and they were able to accommodate my family that were gluten free easily. I got the chicken curry and it was fabulous!

Really busy place, throughly enjoyed our time in the restaurant, the food was spot on as well as the service, good atmosphere.

Unfortunately the Dal Tadka I ordered tasted very off. My friends who were there with me also tasted it and they didn't like it either. I usually love Dal Tadka, so I was very disappointed by the flavour. Regarding the service everything was fine, except that one of our plates was dirty, so we had to ask for a replacement.

Delicious food, kind staff and the mood was great. Only downside, a bit too expensive. Main dish ~18£ but it is served without rice/naan which you have to pay extra ~4£. You must get 3 sides dish and 2 main if you’re two and you want to eat enough. I would go back!

Food arrived on time and very hot and fresh. Was happy with the taste and quality of everything ordered and had no issues receiving the delivery at our hotel- recommended!

My recent visit to Nu Delhi Restaurant was unfortunately a disappointing experience, primarily due to the unprofessional behavior of the restaurant manager. We were initially told there would be a 20-30 minute wait for a table, which we were willing to accept. However, we ended up waiting for over 45 minutes without any update or courtesy from the staff. When we approached the manager to inquire about the delay, he was dismissive and far from polite. His attitude lacked any sense of customer care or friendliness, which left us feeling undervalued as patrons. Considering the quality of service, it is hard to recommend this establishment. A restaurant’s success is not just about the food but also the way it treats its guests, and Nu Delhi failed on this front. We won’t be returning.
