A lovely restaurant with an authentic feel and the food was just incredible!

Haven’t even finished our dinner and need to leave a review. Absolutely outstanding food, we had the banquet menu and have enough food home for lunch tomorrow. Amazing value, the servers are just wonderful and great wine selection. Only thing I did not enjoy was the coconut margarita - not the traditional coconut margarita that I prefer but that’s simply my choice. Cannot recommend enough!!

We had a fantastic experience at Nu Delhi Restaurant in Belfast. The Vegetable Platter starter was fresh and flavorful. Both the Chicken Biryani and Vegetable Biryani were aromatic, well-spiced, and delicious. The service was excellent; Mr. Tharun was very attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations. The rest of the staff were also welcoming and professional, creating a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend this place for authentic Indian food and top-notch service. Tip: Do reserve a table before you go.

I have always heard good things about this restaurant but my first time visiting tonight. This is hands down the best Indian meal I have had in Belfast. I got the tandoori monkfish curry and it was sublime - delicate flavours and perfectly cooked fish. The restaurant was packed full and we were a table of 10 and the service was impeccable and food arrived quickly and hot. Cannot recommend enough, will be back soon!

This restaurant is by far the best Indian in Northern Ireland. Every member of staff is engaging and excellent. The manager, Mark, is also very good. He remembers you and always welcomes you back. Our daughter Sophia (aged 7) goes to Nu Delhi just to see Mark. The food is always good, we have never had a bad meal. The restaurant is always busy, the atmosphere is always excellent. It's best to book your table to avoid disappointment. Thank me later.

The food was quite mild by Indian standards but still packed with flavor. Some starters, like the onion bhaji, were authentically prepared and delicious. The mains—dal makhani and paneer butter masala—were rich in taste, though the paneer itself could have been of better quality. The naan was decent but could have been softer. Overall, it was a good Indian dining experience in Belfast.

Harish was very attentive and polite. We didn’t have to wait more than a few minutes for a drink! 10/10 will be back. Complimentary shots are always a yea from me 👅

Horrible food would not even call it indian food staff very nice but the food is awful the duck curry was so tuff you could not even cut it with a steak knife

Having given a bad review for here and not returned for quite some time I thought it only fair to give a review of our latest visit. Honestly it was night and day. Service, food, friendliness and atmosphere were all right up there. The only reason I gave four instead of five was there wasn't any real stand out dishes. Every thing we got was very good and I will definitely return and recommend it to friends.

Really nice Indian food, good service (not particularly personal, but efficient). The restaurant fairly large but was busy already when we arrived at 5.30pm on a Sunday, so booking ahead might be a good idea. Not a cheap place, expect £15-20 for a main dish, plus rice and sides. Cocktails were priced at £12ish. The entrance is really nicely done and the restaurant looks pretty and clean. Lots of staff about and they all wear some sort of headset, so presumably somebody is coordinating service with those. We had two chicken tikka masalas of different spice levels, which were good, and some good naan breads too. I would come back, it’s a very solid Indian restaurant.

Table booked for 8.30pm. We arrived on time but had to wait approximately 20 mins for the table, which we didn't mind. Initial service was great but the order for the jalfrezi to be hot wasn't adhered to. We were pretty much rushed through our courses, the dessert menu was sat on the table then taken away again after less than a minute before we got a chance to read it. Our drinks were cleared before finishing them then the bill was sat on the table and a waiter was over with the card machine withing a minute. The food was just ok, the service wasn't wonderful.

We could not have had a better experience! Service was a delight. The atmosphere was very beautiful, and the food was fantastic. The server helped us with ordering exactly what would suit our tastes, and was extremely nice, even though it was a busy night. It felt like we were his top priority. High recommendations for this restaurant all around.

Maybe the nicest Indian restaurant I've ever visited, certainly the top in Belfast. I'd recommend to anybody wanting to enjoy Indian cuisine at its finest, in a warm, ambient, yet fancy atmosphere. Special thanks to Sazal (Shajal), our waiter, the above-and-beyond customer service.

An absolute gem! The warm spicy aroma wafting from the place invites you in from the street. Fabulous menu, really beautiful authentic food prepared with attention to detail. And the waiter who served us could not have been more friendly. We'll be back!

Decided to eat here for my birthday dinner at the last minute. The staff were very busy but managed to still provide an excellent service. And food was great and reasonably priced.

Please do not order Chicken Tikka Masala here - it was cloying - way too much sugar. Why add sugar in the first place?? The world has come to the point to tasting Indian spices. So keep it original. On top of that, why would you add coconut to it? Additionally I was served sweetened raita on the side. Stay away from this dish at any cost.

First time in Belfast , my wife and I love a Curry so checked reviews and chose Nu Delhi… we were both amazed at how lovely this meal was absolutely recommend without any hesitation.. excellent in every aspect . You need to try it . Price was reasonable too no issues whatsoever.

Comparatively to other Indian restaurants in Belfast I felt the option was less especially if you are vegetarian. Less spicy food but definitely not a bad one though.

Fantastic meal at NuDelhi in Belfast. Walked in without a booking on a clearly pretty busy night but found me a table quicker than suggested. The food was excellent and delicious. More of a modern take in terms of decor and atmosphere. The food has a bit of a modern twist as well but familiarly Indian for anyone who likes this cuisine. Can't recommend highly enough. A must visit if you are in Belfast.

We visited here to celebrate my husbands birthday and opted for the set menu consisting of poppadoms with dips and pickles, mix platter to share and then had the choice of the entire menu for mains and a side dish. Every single dish was utter perfection and a taste sensation. The freshness and flavours where amazing and the meats were all cooked beautifully. We also ordered dessert and treated ourselves to a couple of gins each (highly recommend the jawbone ginger with honeycomb garnish) The staff were really friendly but not intrusive and the restaurant is decorated to a high standard, a great temperature and very clean! The bill came in at £108 which we thought was very reasonable given the ambience, service and quality of the food.

First time at the Nu Delhi, over from Liverpool, the locals all highly recommended the place, we weren't let down. Fantastic ambience, excellent staff, exceptional food.

Lovely modern vibe and lovely food. My only issue was sadly a language barrier/miserstanding got me the wrong meal. I still enjoyed what I had and would return.

Order delayed ok things happen , but chips arrived cold and tasted like they had already been microwaved. Naan bread cold and wet through condensation in the foil packaging.

We were delighted to be invited to try a ‘Nu’ concept of dining out at the fabulous Nu Delhi Lounge, a 150 seater Indian restaurant on Great Victoria Street in Belfast. Using the best local produce, and a fusion of traditional Punjabi spices the chefs at Nu Delhi have created a menu of light, tasty and vibrant regional dishes, and we couldn’t wait to try what was on offer. First, we were treated to a fantastic starter sharing board, which included a variety of tasty appetisers; we loved the Tandoori King Prawns, the Masala Chilli Squid, and the Onion Bhajis, although everything was so good, it was hard to pick a favourite! To follow, the Monkfish Chettinadu had monkfish tikka fillets served in a coconut & coriander sauce with mustard seeds & curry leaf to deliver a gentle heat, and the stunning Paneer Shaslik had enormous chunks of homemade cottage cheese, with onions and peppers, marinated and cooked in the tandoori grill and served with Masala potatoes. Sensational! Renowned for amazing Indian cuisine, great drinks & cocktails, excellent service, and a sophisticated cosmopolitan vibe, Nu Delhi combines the traditional with the modern to create a unique and delicious dining experience.

We went for New Year’s Eve dinner with the set menu. It was some of the best Indian food we’ve ever had. Great value for the food we received, my first time have a monkfish curry, it won’t be the last. The staff were really attentive, quick and accommodating. It’s a really nice atmosphere.

This place is amazing! Visiting for a few days in the new year and this was a great find. Portion size is large, with a great selection of chefs favourites. Service was brilliant! Would highly recommend.

Pure amazing food, great service and hospitality. We were a party of 7, arrived without reservations and they found us a seat in 20 mins. Everyone ordered something different and all 7 meals were amazing. Highly recommend speaking to the server if spicy is an issue.

Lovely place to come, lovely atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and fun. The food is pretty good but the portion sizes are confusing. You get loads of the main but comparatively small side/rice/naan; and each one is paid for separate-even through the banquet, which is otherwise pretty good value.

Reservation made via Google. Easy and quick. Mango and beef salad and bang bang chicken as a starter… very good. Buter chicken and chicken jalfrezi as a dish… excellent! All with rice and naans… Nothing to say about the dishes and the generous portions. The place is large and relatively noisy. Damage. This remains a very good address

We went without reservations during Christmas holidays and still they agreed to accommodate us. Super fast service and yummiest indian food I had in belfast. The ambience of the place was also excellent. Overall excellent experience.

The food was delivered over an hour later than quoted . Some friends had left by the time it eventually arrived and I only received apologies and late food . Nice food but terrible service

The food quality was acceptable, but the overall dining experience left room for improvement. Certain dishes were overly spicy compared to other restaurants that wouldn’t have added any. Some of the service felt rushed, with certain staff members seeming overly eager to clear plates and drinks before we were finished. The hovering presence detracted from what could have been a more relaxed meal. They are currently running a Christmas menu, but after comparing it with their regular a la carte menu on their website, the value proposition is questionable - essentially paying a significant premium (around £10 more per person) for what appeared to include 1 bowl of popadoms. Lastly, the portions of rice are the smallest I’ve ever seen.

We had a super Indian meal here close to Christmas when so often meals out can be a bit hit and miss. Staff were excellent and service was extremely good. The food itself was of high quality and the venue / decor provided a great vibe. Hopefully we'll be back soon !

Very nice food but a bit pricey. However our night was ruined by the very rude service. It’s was a very busy restaurant and they seem to have a conveyor belt system for turning round tables. As soon as we were finished a course the plate was lifted. The waiters nearly stand over you watching for the last spoonful and then pounce. It wasn’t just our table another customer actually asked for their plate back..Maybe they were over booked our night but it really was very off putting.

first experience collecting the order, it was marked ready for collection but took an extra 15 mins before it was actually ready. just add the additional time on to pickup so I don't have to wait in a cramped hallway. food was great which made up for the poor collection.

Very unimpressive Indian food. This place definitely does not come close to how any good authentic Indian food should taste. Currys are bland, lack flavour and meat is on the overcooked side. This is my second time here after 8 years and nothing has changed. Staff are great and atmosphere is very good!
