Kurobuta Fitzrovia in City of London, Westminster

Found this newly opened place by chance late one night when other places were closing and am recommending it to all our friends. We were warmly welcomed by manager (Rolando) who kept the kitchen open while we ordered. The food was really great (chicken teriyaki and shrimp and vegetable tempura) - beautifully flavoured and not in the least oily. Only tried the Malbec so can't comment on the other wines but it was lovely. Our waiter was Mounir who is French/Algerian and fun to talk to. Rolando is Greek and also likes to chat so both make you feel like friends.

Popped in for a quick meal and OMG what a welcome we got, as our first time we got a free starter and a free saké. The food you can really tell is from scratch, I really cannot fault this place.
