I haven't eaten in the restaurant but have ordered from them many timed for delivery. I have yet to have something off the menu that hasn't been amazing. Comfy, cosy, and hearty food that won't break the bank. The lentil soup is utterly amazing and I can't get enough of the stuff, along with the flatbreads. Every bit of meat I have had from here has been so tender it is unbelievable. And best of all, it makes a change to be able to have something different from the standard cut, copy, paste of burgers, pizza, and chicken that you see down every street. One of my favourites for sure....

Visited this place after looking at Google reviews however have few issues, the chicken wings had fur all over and that put me off my food and also the wings were raw and pink from inside. See photo

When collecting food we had to prove that we had paid even though we did it online and then getting the food home the quality is poor…meat soup with no meat in it and texture of water…flavour not much better rest not much better imo

No salad, no sauces. Lassi spilled. not enough nan bread.

Price goes up and portion size goes down, added an extra person to the platter and it’s just not much.

Cannot fault this place, order on the regular and the food always slaps! Mixed grills and tapsi are soo good! Only ever been disappointed by this place twice and that’s because they forgot sauces. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely next level. I had the mixed kebab and my partner had 1/2 chicken tikka kebab. It comes with onions, peppers, a plate of salad and we opted for the lentil soup which is absolutely next level. So good we took some home with us. The bread is insane too! Definitely will be returning it’s one of the best Kurdish places in hull!

Great food portions are immense loads of different dips / sauces. All delicious the bread was freshly made and lovely. The soup was a great bonus too. Staff are lovely

Never been in the restaurant itself only ordered, they’ve always delivered on time and food has always come hot and never an item missing. Always nice quality food can never fault it.

3rd time I've ordered a vegetarian dish for my partner and it had meat in it so now she cant eat her tea. You even sent a knife handle in one of the meals before it's getting out of hand.

Really impressed with this place everything is always perfect. You can't get fresher when everything is made right infront of you. Open plan kitchen you can see everything. Staff are really friendly it's the little extras they do for you like while I was deciding I was given a bottle of water and some dates to nibble on, the meal was perfect portion size a little big for me but you never turn away a doggy bag for later. Then the tea at the end to symbolise you've ended your meal and can drink while settling your stomach and talking to your group is always nice touch. Everything is so reasonably priced it's well worth the 100 mile round trip I do for this. Parking is on the street and plenty of it, no meters so no need to stress about a parking ticket. If you can tell me a place where you can get all this for £13.50 dine in, I'm all ears.

It's very convenient ordering thru this app. However, if delivery staff could only be on time or delivered early, it would be lovely.

Rare I can be bothered to review restaurants - but this was SO tasty! I also got my order wrong when placing and the restaurant were great with swapping the order for the correct item via telephone and delivery driver was lovely too on arrival - overall perfect food and service hopefully that stays the same!!

always so well cooked, juicy and well flavoured

The grilled sea bass here is AMAZING and for such a good price. I also really enjoyed the Fattoush salad, the pita pieces were perfectly crunchy but thin and coated enough in the dressing not to hurt your teeth, and the dressing wasn’t too sour, just tangy and sweet. It went really well with what I’m guessing was a complimentary portion of extra salad and the extra pitta breads I was given. The Jajik’s portion was huge and very tasty, and if you have a sweet tooth I cannot recommend the fresh mango juice enough. Overall it was perfect. Order arrived fast and was still warm.

Missing sauce, cold, best bit was the naan

It was OK not as much as thiught u would get for 15 pound didn't get my soup which is one of the reasons I wanted this it's put me. Of ordering from here again

Food is amazing, tasty and fresh. Brilliant prices. However, Service and Atmosphere lets them down. I appreciate, they're busy but I hate feeling like you're being an inconvenience when you try to order/ ask to order additional food.

Have been inside the restaurant a few times and it has always been good, never had any complaints. However, I had ordered a delivery and had ordered Tandoori Chicken. When it had arrived the supposed “tandoori chicken” had no charring and no Tadoori flavourings, and was pink near the bone and not cooked properly. It was just grilled chicken with a little lemon squeezed on the top. When we rang to state this to them, they were arguing that what they had prepared was tandoori chicken, and even switching the argument midway that it was “Kurdistan Tandoori chicken”. I wouldn’t recommend ordering from here.

Best Lamb chops ever. Would recommend ordering them with a side of chips. Lamb, chips, salad, a Fanta and then you’re good to go.

It used to be nice food and good prices then suddenly prices went up and that was okay considering it is one of the few halal places in Hull and the food tasted good.. then the food quality became low and the service became worse and things changed! Even a little ketchup is charged now! The mince meat is more vegetable than meat and the rest of the meat is low quality… I don’t know what changed but there is clearly something different in that shop recently and it is just for the worse! After going there for so many times for ages we are not going back anymore with the current situation.

I recently ordered a takeaway chicken burger, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Right from the moment I went to pay, things started on the wrong foot. I was informed that the price of the chicken burger I ordered was actually £1 more than what was clearly specified on the menu. This unexpected price increase set a negative tone for the rest of the experience. Later on taking my first bite, it became painfully evident that the quality was far from acceptable. The so-called "chicken fillet" was a major disappointment. Instead of a juicy and flavourful chicken fillet, I was greeted with a frozen patty that resembled something one might find in the freezer section of a discount supermarket. The texture and taste indicated that it had been reheated, resulting in a dry and utterly tasteless piece of "chicken." Adding to the let-down were the buns that housed this lacklustre patty. They were far from fresh, giving off a staleness that suggested they might have been sitting around for about a week. I sincerely hope that the establishment takes this feedback constructively and works towards improving their offerings. As a customer, I value transparency in pricing and quality in the food I consume, and this experience fell short on both counts. Until improvements are made, I cannot recommend this particular restaurant to anyone looking for a satisfying and enjoyable meal.

Visiting this restaurant turned out to be an extremely disappointing experience. Upon entering, I was dismayed to be directed to a table that was unacceptably dirty, with an abundance of unwashed plates and dishes scattered about. The lack of cleanliness was immediately off-putting. To make matters worse, I decided to order a bowl of okra, only to discover, to my utter shock and disgust, that it was served to me with a servant's fingernail nestled inside. It was evident that his unhygienic hands had contaminated the entire dish. I couldn't believe my eyes, and the thought of consuming such unclean food was revolting. I summoned a different server, hoping for a better experience, but to my dismay, a bold gentleman arrived. I mustered the courage to explain what had transpired, hoping for a sincere apology or a resolution. However, his response was dismissive, claiming it was not a problem, and he proceeded to bring me another bowl of okra. To my astonishment, he repeated the same unsanitary handling, leaving me with no option but to abandon the restaurant, feeling deeply disappointed and frustrated. It was disheartening to realize that I had spent my hard-earned money on such a subpar and unprofessional establishment.

Tonight we ordered seabass and lamb chop as collection We collect the order and came home long way from spring bank and we saw it was just one portion of ghoozi ..which was not our order Very bad service ..we are not happy .. We had to back again to spring bank long way ..

Food quality, the best, especially fish but they need to be more organised . I Received chips instead of rice . I ordered meat soup but I received them on lentils soup . Also, sometimes the rise is too oily , better if have less oil.

Chicken burgers were dry and definitely not what expected, chips not seasoned. Lamb chops were overcooked which made it tough.

Delivery was a bit later than expected but that didn’t matter when it arrived and we saw the feast we had been given. Delightful array of flavours and generous portions made this takeaway one of the best experiences in Hull. The quality of the food is exceptional - better than five stars - and we will certainly be returning again and again. Well done guys, you are superb!

Don't let the decor put you off, the food is amazing! Best value for money in hull. Table of 4 and the total bill was about 50 quid including soft drinks. Food is delicious and plentiful. Have paid a lot more for a lot less. Staff are really friendly too.

Very poor delivery service, ordered for 6.30pm and it turned up at 5. As I had paid online I was told I had to take it. When I complained I was told to just heat it myself for my guests. I was then promised some additional food to arrive at 6.30 which didn’t turn up till 7. Absolutely shambolic. They firstly blamed their own website as they said they couldn’t tell what time I’d ordered delivery for and then tried to blame me for that!

First visit after reading reviews, thought it may be good so went for 2 chicken breasts and chips.. Staff were friendly..but the result was food that was overcooked batter with barely any chicken and a morning sitting on the toilet.

Awful experience of this takeaway -would not let us cancel an order despite saying the curry we ordered online was no longer available, then wanted to charge delivery for not delivering any food. They then said they could make the curry, which I now suspect was actually a jar curry instead of cancelling and refunding the order! They then missed an item, and when we called them they denied this, refused to refund us for the missing item and instead told us that they had worked hard on the curry!! The food was also rubbish, unsuprisingly.

I've come with my friends numerous times! The food is halal (which is always a bonus) and really tasty, and very good competitive prices. I strongly recommend the grill platter for two, it consists of the chicken and lamb kebabs, as well as ribs and chops! The hummus is👌. Love the complimentary soups especially lentil and meat one mixed together👌. Staff are so lovely mashallah, will definitely be returning

Honestly this place is amazing. You get so much for so little. I've never had a naan bread like these and the lamb is cooked to perfection. The soup that comes with most meals is so nice to dip your naans in I got 4 naan breads with mine. Fresh salad also. Everyone needs to try this place. I've been in to pick up an order before and they were very polite. Don't park in the old Iceland carpark next door though! I was there 3 minutes and got £80 fine.

Last time I wanted meat soup I was sent lentil which we don't like and this time I paid for plain rice but got sent a biryani rice which we didn't like.
