Took my sons out for dinner, value for money when your feeding hungry teens with an appetite 👏🏾💯. Kung fu offers something for everyone.

Came here a couple months ago and was disappointed. However, a massive change in experience this time round. Definitely visit for the dinner time not the lunch as there is more options. Food was superb and service was efficient. Only thing I would change is to have strawberries with the fruit for the chocolate fountain 😍 8 plates between me and my partner leaving very satisfied

Will never go again it was awful food was horrible chicken looked so dark just all bad best thing was the banana and custard they didn’t have to do anything to it

Went for my son's birthday. At1 o'clock today .we will not be going back again food is cold and not much of it .I asked the waiter weres the seaweed he said only in the evening .70 down the drain. Food was rubbish . everyone don't go there Mr webb kingston

Me and my wife had the buffet in the restaurant and it has gone down hill bad the restaurant is not that clean and the waiters don’t even talk to you and the tables was not clean and the a little while later my wife was sick and she had diarrhoea bad the food has gone down hill to I called the restaurant and I asked for the manager and was told the manager is not in and I ask to speak to someone in management and was told that no one is in just staff I am not happy at all

Have been here many times. I have always found the food tasty with a good variety and at a reasonable price.

I read the previous reviews and thought we’d chance a visit here, well that was the BIGGEST mistake I made! This place is absolutely disgusting. The dishes hadn’t been renewed, the sauces were stuck to the bowls, some dishes were missing and hadn’t been replaced, the hot plate was out of order and worst of all I found TWO HAIRS in our food. Our party refused to eat any more and I asked for a refund which I was told I wasn’t allowed as there was nobody working who could authorise it. When I asked to speak to the manager the staff member went into the kitchen and told me that the manager was no longer around. I then asked to speak to the team leader or shift manager which I was told again there wasn’t one. DO NOT VISIT HERE IT IS AN ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY, IT IS DIRTY AND THE FOOD IS TASTELESS AND FULL OF HAIRS. This place needs to be visited by the council to check its hygiene rating.

Food was absolutely disgusting. Couldnt distinguish between dishes. Not many dishes out or puds. Absolute waste of money go to the pub downstairs or over the road. Waitress staff coughing and sneezing and not using handkerchief.

we went on a sunday which is the most expensive day to go at nearly £14 each!the food is lovely and there is a lot of different dishes to help your self to!been twice, the first time had a cook to order grill as well going but it was not cooking this visit.you can go up as many times as you want but you have a time allocated which is 1 1/2 hours total. this was more than enough for all of us to eat until nearly bursting.there are starters and puddings included and a chocolate fountain.drinks are a bit expensive and no free refills!if you like chinese this is a good way to try dished you wouldn't normally buy or eat.restaurant is always clean and nicewe had 8 in our party but the tables can seat about 10i have been here twice and loved both visits but would recommend going during the week which is much cheaperthe waiters clear your dishes away very quickly but hang onto your forks as they don't have any spares around unless you take them from another table. may be you can ask for them - i don't knowwith a take-away dish costing £6+ from else where this has got to be exellent value

I visited this restaurant today in Kingston and I wanted to have lunch with my family at 2.00. I read the prices on the board outside the restaurant and it said that on weekdays, each adult should pay £7.99. So I went to book for 4 people and the lady asked me to pay £55 (13.99 Per Person). When I asked her why, she said they are charging full prices today. I was really disappointed because we were planning on trying this restaurant. The lady on the till was not very honest about the weekday offer.

Very good value lunch buffet! You can have soup, starters, mains, desserts, ice cream and cake for under £10 on weekdays. Excellent for those with a lunch hour or time limitation. Good quality food, all you can eat. Drinks reasonable too.Good and friendly & frequent clearing service.

Despite checking ingredients I had a severe allergic reaction and needed. Paramedics and hospital. I am now barred from there but their food is lukewarm and low standards

Although the location is pretty nice and clearly cleaned, the food is horrible. I started eating my first plate and suddenly I felt such a bad heartburn and stomach ache that I couldn’t even stay properly seated. My friends got sick too. I will never ever ever come back

This is ok to come if want to eat before the cinema . It's comfortable enough with some food when served fresh being hot although if let gets cold and doesn't stay hot . Plenty of selection

Price ok.You an only order twice on the grill, if u go 3rd time you get told off, when i told them we are 6 of us, ghe guy told me i have to send the others, ie my wife or kids. Good variety of food and all warm! Only criticism is that drinks such as coke are very expensive to offset the cost of the cheap buffet. Overall good food and a good taste. Be warned certain days of the week are cheaper than others

The food is very good but staff were very slow in replenishing dishes. There were so many dishes running out that diners had to get in quick before it was all gone. This needs to improve.

We popped in to the buffet for food prior to the cinema and found the food to be cold.

Terrible service I went in February 2019 very very rude staff and very unhelpful I have autism and I don’t understand some rules. Staff and people in the restaurant were very rude and unfriendly to the point I exploded. This is unusual now as I hardcore ever explode now as I have my anger outbursts under control now. Don’t bother visiting and I hope that business closes down due to attitude of staff

I’ve been a regular to Kung fu for a years now. It’s unfortunate that the selection and the quality of food has decreased over the years. This last time i visited with my family. I was really disappointed by the choice of food . With too many fry up! And the desserts cups are tasteless!! Wish the original menu and quality is reinstated soon .

We arrived late(21:38), understanding we had 20 minutes before closure, we paid (A ridiculous 13.99) and entered. We didn't mind having a short time to eat however, just 10 minutes in we had staff gather around us making us feel very uneasy. Staring at us as we tried to eat as fast as possible. We were told we could bring food to the table but that if we didn't the food would be taken, this, all before 9:50pm. Not acceptable. It was very apparent how unhappy we were at present and yet staff continued to hover around us and make us feel uncomfortable.

We went as a family group just before the cinema. You pay at the entrance and get your drinks and then you fend for yourself at the buffet. The choice of food is staggering, some dishes are a lot better than others, but we really liked the duck pancakes, dumplings and noodles. There's a big selection of puddings and a chocolate fountain and sweets to finish. It's really good value as you can eat as much as you like at quite a low price, and it's speedy so it's handy for a pre cinema meal.

Visited Kung FU buffet , what a mistake... big..... huge.

It was a mediocre Friday, the weather was bland in what was a race to the newly discovered mekkah. Once known back in the days as finesse, this unassuming establishment had blossomed into the mighty Kung Fu. But who would be the real winner on the day in what proved to be the return of the Kaos. It was the turn of the two underdogs to step up to the proverbial plate and attempt to show this buffet their own form of Marshall art. With the reverberant battle cries of leave no scoobie unturned, the scoobies went to Kung Fu town.

I don’t advise anyone to go there at all. First of all, we decided to sit down after paying for our food and drinks then myself and my friend we decided to look around the buffet when we decided to choose sushi for starter we sit down and we realised the sushi was so bad, was really really bad, really dry and no taste at all of anything. Then we decided to go to see the rest when we realised the rest did look very dry.

The restaurant was located very well , the prices where very reasonable. however i'm little confused as why i came with a family of 18 and they squeezed us into a corner with two separate tables, not allowing us to be sat together. not mention they came up with a set price for my 2 year old son who i said at the front that he wasn't going to eat.

Pleasantly surprised considering it was a midweek lunchtime. Good range to choose from, quality very good. Not over-seasoned, as previous experience with Chinese buffets would indicate. Would have been happier if the only cake for dessert (unlabelled) wasn't banana- which is something I truly hate!

My wife and I just turned up and decided to try this place, and the experience wasn't that good, it's nothing special to be honest and it's probably all from Iceland, if you want decent Chinese food go to a proper Chinese restaurant.

Very reasonably priced all you can eat buffet,with a huge choice of dishes,would highly recommend for a casual meal.

I visited this place on 16th of February for dinner.

We went to this restaurant with the family last November, in the evening, and it was fantastic. I am not a fan of buffets, especially not Chinese ones, but this really was superb and I should have done a review. I am glad I didn't. We finally convinced some friends to come with us and we made a one hour journey especially to have a meal there. Big problem - was lunch time. I knew the menu was cheaper at lunch time, but naively assumed it was because it was a less popular time to eat. Big mistake. I would think only half as many options were available and they looked as if they had been there a while. What on earth hash browns were doing there I have no idea. Fortunately we looked at what was available before paying and decided it was a definite no. Why a restaurant does such a superb evening meal yet such an appalling lunchtime one defies belief. I am saddened to write this review but you would be crazy to go there for lunch. We ended up in a small Chinese restaurant five minutes away in Richmond Road, which was fine, but I would far rather have had the superb meal in Kung Fu I had three months ago.

Lots of vegetarian options, tasty food, many sweets and candy... Easy to locate, polite staff, nice space, very busy. Recommend.

The food was great I love it every time but the staff seemed rude and distant apart from a young guy who was very nice while clearing most of the restaurants plates.

at first glance the menu is well layed out but upon entering the restaurant the buffet area if clearly visible and is a very small area with poor offerings from what you'd expect from a Chinese restaurant.

Very poor compared to last owner you are required to pay in advance for a limited selection I used to have Malaysian Curry which was absolutely delicious Nothing here on offer

Arrived at the door to be served by a very rude girl, very uninterested in talking to the the customers. Sat down and went straight to dig in. Dig into dried old food that had been there a while. In the hour we dined, only 3 dishes were brough out fresh. The ‘duck’ pancakes were crumbs of duck that had been there a long time, the ‘freshly’ prepared food on the grill is dripping in oil. I would avoid the beef as you get jaw ache from chewing for so long. The chicken wings were all shirvelled and dry presumeably from how long theyd been there. The deserts are non existant, dried carrot cake, fruit that must have been there a few days, and a few other creamy things. There was melted choclate sauce but no marshmellows left and wasnt refilled. I wouldnt go back here, the food was bottom line awful, all old and dry. Save your money and got nandos or something.

Stopped by for a quick meal on route to the cinema. A really nice Chinese buffet meal which is reasonably priced. The quality of the food was good as well. They even had the higher end items like duck available. Will come back again.

Standard Chinese buffet fayre. I would imagine that lunchtimes it is fairly good value for money but £13.99 per head at peak times isn’t great value for the quality of the food. The whole paying first thing is also not great. Il stick to five guys in future

Excellent variety of foods on buffet, very fresh and tasty. Service terrific, constantly refilling trays of food. A real American style Chinese Buffet, a great value at 12.99 for dinner, all you can eat.

We have been several times. It has the advantage over some other restaurants in the Rotunda in that it is not as noisy (no music) and you can control when you get your food so can guarantee you will have eaten before the film starts. And at lunchtime it is incredibly cheap! The food was very tasty with a lot of different vegetables. If they had served tofu I would have given another star.

All you can eat buffet for £6.99 Mon-Fri lunch time is great value if you ask me. The food was very nice and many options to choose from.

There is a number of dishes to choose from at the buffet area, many of which are delicious. There's also a number of side dishes which are lovely. You can also get prawns and thing grilled to order. Good price for what you get

Visited for meal with friends and family it's just a typical Chinese buffet and that's all, just under £13 per head for food, the staff seem a bit disinterested to be honest and I can't say anything more positive I'm sad to say ( been there, done that and won't be doing it again here)

For the price the foods more than fair with a decent variety, However when your asked to pay for your meal before being seated along with any drinks, I must say that sucks, and if you want any further drinks they then you return to the bar and pay, they will bring them over, I also asked for a glass of water when at my table, although free was told I needed to go to bar and order / collect. £20 for a meal each and 2 pints isn’t expensive, but not my idea of a meal out.

Went for lunch with some workmates. Relatively easy to find and lots of parking close by. Staff were not overly enthusiastic, but friendly and helpful. You order your food and drinks, pay, and are taken to a table.

Walked in about an hour before closing which was pointed out to us, had to pay for food and drinks before being seated. Choice of starters was good but mains were disappointing. Food was good but staff were slow to top up the trays even though there were plenty of people still eating. Reasonable price for what we ate.

Visited Kung Fu for the evening buffet. The food was great with lots to choose from, noodles, meat and fish dishes, sushi and salmon cooked to order. Lots of lovely puddings, cakes, fruit and even a chocolate fountain. This place is even suitable for vegetarians. Drinks are not included in the price of the buffet and you have to pay before you are seated. The place was lovely and clean and the service from staff member Pari and other staff was exceptional. Look forward to returning soon.

Travelled from north to visit london, kingston. One of our goals was to visit this restarunt as i use to go a lot when it was called "finnese".

We went here for Sunday lunch, there was no queueing, we was seated straight away. There was a pleasant atmosphere, the restaurant having been refurbished, it was bright and light. There was plenty of dishes to choose from, something to suit everyone, the dishes being constantly being refilled. The staff were polite and attentive. There was a great choice of desserts and to the delight of our grandson, a chocolate fountain, not something we normally see at a Chinese buffet.

We have been here a few times and the food is always good. Fresh food is brought out regularly and there is a great choice including vegetarian options.

I will absolutely suggest this place to anyone , tasty food a lot of options. I most certainly enjoyed the cake 💙💙.

Attended on a cold night, after ordering we were advised there is no heating in the place, it was almost as cold inside as it was outside and we had to sit with our coats on. Food was basic and luke warm, they don't supply you with a knife to cut your food which made life a bit difficult. Went to wash my hands, the toilets are upstairs there are three wash hand basins, the first one the tap was broken, the second one the tap was loose and barely attached. Maybe okay to take children before cinema but wouldn't recommend and won't be back

Went there several times. Every time delivered on taste and service. Very popular and busy. You could face a long queue on weekends.

Popped in there tonight after the cinema for the first (and last) time. The restaurant was cold, food was cold and horrid. I couldn't wait to get home to clean my teeth to get rid of the taste and the stench of oil clung to my clothes, skin and hair until I showered. Will definitely avoid in the future.

It's a lot cheaper at lunchtime, but they seem to have less on. No grill and less deserts.

My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate his birthday which we were really looking forward to. Attending here at lunch I knew it wasn’t the best due to food being cold and rude staff. However , we heard that it was better in the evenings.

Much improved since last year. Nice decor. Food more attractive. Food could be hotter. Not bad but a little bit ‘pile it high’. A pleasant enough experience. We’ll come again.

I have visited this restaurant a few times now , it’s really nice. £6.99 per adult for unlimited food and they also include desert in the price. Ice cream, cakes , fruit . Can be quite busy on a weekend ( ques out the door and have to wait for seats) but it’s worth the wait. The staff are friendly and the food is fresh .

I fancied Chinese one evening while staying in Claygate. Wanted a buffet restaurant as I prefer the starters so as this place was only about 20 mins away we gave it a go.

Very good Chinese all you can eat buffet! Very reasonable prices good selection and diversity of food for lunch and even better selection with seafood etc. for few pounds more at dinner. Staff is nice and helpful.

This was the kids’ (13 and 16) choice for dinner after a family trip to see the latest instalment of Star Wars - very convenient given its location in the Rotunda.

Having been here before at a weekend, where there was plenty of variety of main courses and lots of puddings, and the food was ok for an eat-all-you-like place, I brought my teenage daughter here for lunch today (Friday). The food was disgusting. Most food trays were almost empty, and the food was very dried out, having clearly been there quite some time. There was much less choice of main courses, about 1/2 inches of soup left in both tureens, and the only puddings a small bowl of "fruit salad" (mainly apple) and two plastic cartons of ice cream, again both almost empty. If I hadn't been with my daughter, and not wanted to embarrass her by complaining, I would asked for my money back.

Visited this restaurant on a Bank Holiday and almost left when we saw the queue, but glad we decided to wait. Fantastic experience, huge choice from the buffet for the one price, and also a choice of fish and meat cooked in front of you while you wait. Delicious!

I can't believe that anyone has given this restaurant 5 stars, the food is absolutely tasteless. It's the worst chinese food I've ever had. I used to visit this restaurant before it got taken over by new owners and the food was actually ok then. I'm shocked at how bad it is now, they really need to up their game if they're going to stay in business as I'm sure that a lot of people will not return once they've tried the food once.

I really recommend this place. Decent price, and a very good variety of food. I've been here a few times and it's just as good each time.

The food is really nice here. One main negative tho is the lack of choices. There is loads of cheap "filler" things like chips, wedges, chicken nuggets etc but a smaller selection of proper Chinese dishes which was disappointing.

The restaurant was clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming, but kept in the background whilst you make your numerous trips to the buffet. Food was good and there was a wide choice of dishes. All in all I found it very good value for money, particularly for anyone with a big appetite.

The food here is amazing. The price is affordable. I visited for lunch and dinner, that's how good it is. The lunch price is cheaper than the dinner price, but the dinner buffet has more dishes. Staff are generally friendly, but do have a tendency to take your plate even if you haven't finished eating. Great place. Definitely visit.

Kung fu is tucked away in the Rotunda centre in Kingston. It's near the cinema. The Restaurant is a oriental buffet service. It has a double pricing structure and charges more in the evening for Adults and children. I'm not totally comfortable with that but can see why they do it. Anyway onto the Restaurant, ambiance is wonderful, very tastefully decorated nice clean tables. The food choice is vast but taste wise actually quite average. Kids did enjoy it trying new foods. This restaurant is all about an experience with a group, it's ideal if fun and a laugh is on the agenda. Oh and the Choccy fountain for desert a real hit.

Great food and fresh. £13 is very cheap for the quality. Cleaning is spot on and the staff are smiling and helpful.

I visited this restaurant on a Tuesday lunchtime. You have to pay for the meal upfront before a staff member will show you to your table. The staff are not friendly and do not interact with customers they just collect and wash plates and cutlery and re-stock the food. There is a good selection of food choices including puddings but the food was not the tastiest and the noodles tasted very bland almost like they were similar to pot noodles. The drinks prices are outrageously expensive £2.75 for a soft drink and a 1 litre bottle of sparkling mineral water cost us £6! I will not be returning to eat here due to the cost of the drinks which is nothing but daylight robbery.

This place looks great and the dishes they offer are most definitely of a wide selection, however, the food is almost watery and not that tasty. This is really unfortunate as the place itself is spacious and really handy for families especially. They need to take a little care with the flavour of their dishes as the desserts were splendid. If we decide to go back, it'll be the desserts that bring us back but I doubt we will return unless they improve the flavour.

For dinner with 13 Pounds you can eat as much as you like, the food is pretty good, lots of variety and value for money.

Went to Kung Fu on the recommendation of two teenage children. Kung Fu is overpriced for an all you can eat and the food is of very poor quality. If you like fine food this not for you. Conclusion, I will definitely not be recommending to friends and will think twice before trusting the recommendation of children.

Great selection for an even better price. At £13 you can't really go wrong for a buffet full of food as well as a great selection of desserts.

Been here a couple of times now, and it never fails to impress. Often with buffets, they scrimp on the more expensive items, but not here! There is a vast range of foods, catering for all needs. The staff are attentive and helpful. I would recommend this place wholeheartedly! We will return soon...and soon after that too!

Great value for a Friday night £13 ,eat as much as you want.

Nice ambience which created great expectations of the food, but the variety was limited and the dessert was a ready-made frozen cake which tasted bad in the mouth! I went with an under two and she was also charged a minimum. Nothing fancy like squid, crabs,prawns,clams or fish offered even when you are ready to spend on a buffet. It was ordinary meats like beef and chicken. Dessert is a let-down.

We visit this oriental buffet restaurant with family recently! Very nice decoration; a large selection of food, which includes sushi and dessert! The staffs were very friendly and helpful! Definitely will visit again! Highly recommended!

Popped in for dinner with daughter. Canteen, buffet style. Lots of choice even for vegetarians. The garlic fried green beans were excellent.

There was a good selection of dishes .. very randomly placed though - chinese, asian and european along side each other (may be better to split into sections). Food was nice enough although not great, a few very tasty dishes and nice sushi but a lot of dishes quite bland, okay value for the money but probably wouldn't go back. Air con is freezing - wear a jacket.

Choice of food was very good. Lots of dishes to suit every taste. Bright and clean decor. Paying before you sit down to eat was a bit odd and because of this there was a queue to get in. With such a large restaurant I assume it saves money on staffing.

Went after it had just opened for lunch. It was busy , limited choices however what we had was tasty however could have done to be hotter. It was ok for lunch and we would give it another try.

Really enjoyed our meal here. Visited with my girlfriend and my sister and the food was beautiful. The service was great and we really enjoyed our time here. Will definitely visit again in the future.

1st: Well there was a big hair stuck inside the roasted prawn I couldn't eat anymore after that and I mentioned it to them.

Visited here for dinner one evening and although we had to queue to be seated (approx 10 mins) it was worth it for the food. There is a large array of Chinese dishes as well as Indian snacks and Sushi. It costs about £13 for an adult for the all-you-can-eat buffet plus cost of drinks which I thought was fairly good value. I've heard its about half the price if you come for lunch which is even better value but would have to check that before you go.

My family and I visited here for my daughters birthday. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The food was plentiful, varied and yummy. The desserts were amazing and they have a chocolate fountain. We had a very enjoyable evening. Big thumbs up from me
