Komi Palm in Barnet

Delicious, tasty food. Acquiring catering from Komi Palm Restaurant for our event was a very straightforward experience. They had a huge selection of meals on their menu, and the delivery was fast - the food arrived quickly and still steaming hot.

Take away, very small portions,expensive...arrived late,ruined my new year dinner. Never again. Unfortunately, totally disappointment

I saw this place on Instagram and the food looked amazing. So as it was my cousin’s birthday all five of us went along to see what all the fuss was about. We were not disappointed , they say the proof is in the pudding- OMG the food every bit was amazing. The food was cooked fresh and not heavy or greasy it was so nice😋.Big up the chef 🤛🏾🤛🏾 As a surprise we were given cake 🎂 this topped off the evening. I cannot wait to go again.

Today myself and my boyfriend saw Komi Palm advertised on tik tok so we took a trip down to Edgware for the food. For a newly opened business it is really good and has a lot of potential. Food/drink: Food was 10/10. I had macaroni cheese , Korean chicken and vegetable noodles. The noodles tasted just like chicken chow Mein. Plantain for sides. It was delicious . There seem to be a lot new foods on the menu coming soon so excited to check those out next time. As its a new business they could entice people in by a voucher card system where if you get so many takeaways they get a discount of the next meal. Also some restaurant do “ leave a trip advisor review and you get a free side” or something like that to encourage people to leave reviews. Drinks there was only soft drinks available and not a lot of choice but still there were drinks available. I would suggest getting a few more soft drinks and when business expands maybe bring sone Caribbean / Asian fusion drink options to the menu to add to the vibes. Restaurant/ staff: Restaurant was small but pretty. Definitely more designed for takeaways but there is a small about of seating available. The wait for the food was 40 minutes but staff said it would be 25. Honestly it was worth the wait however but a lot of other people in the que were complaining. Vibes were good but could have done with some music or maybe a tv in there. Staff was so lovely . Air conditioned very well . It was around 30 degrees today so this helped a lot. However if you plan to eat in and chill beware it gets very cold but when you go back into the heat you appreciate it. Overall really good experience and I would go back. Dreaming about the macaroni cheese.

The take away restaurant is a very pretty restaurant with modern decor. It states that it serves authentic caribbean and asian cusine but not one thing on the menu was caribbean. The food was very lack lustrous, the Komi noodles lacked flavour and was very bland and dry, same with the rice. The korean chicken was not crispy korean chicken it was drenched in a sauce..... The food looked appetising but was far from it. Putting plaintain on the menu does not make it caribbean... The coleslaw was very warm like it was left on the side and biggest mistake is using frozen corn on the cob instead of fresh corn! I had higher expectations :(

We had a group delivery to my office for a Friday treat and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the Korean chicken burger and it was really really delicious. Will definitely have again.
