Kokoro Eastleigh in Eastleigh

Not as good as the first time I ordered, this time I had the meat off very dried out chicken legs , not good value for money.

Stopped in since it was late, and they were one of the few places still open. Food was decent, staff was nice, and the place was clean. Simple and quick take away.

Had a lovely meal food was hot and the taste was superb .would recommend it .

This is a house run by a Korean family! I didn't expect that I would go to a place where I wanted to eat raw fish so much that I would be moved to tears after eating a bulgogi rice bowl that tasted like home-cooked food🥹 It's really delicious, good value for money, and the owner is very friendly! I had a good time👍🥰💜

I usually get their Korean chilli chicken as it’s the spiciest chicken dish but I never found it spicy but today when I mentioned it to the pretty lady on the counter she offered to add extra chilli in it and made my food 100 times better their Korean chilli chicken is very good in its original form but with extra chilli it was so good that my takeout averse mom even liked it!!

Must of gone in at the wrong time of day. Water added to leftover food. Then put in a tub and microwaved with a inch of its life. And still had the privileged of paying full price. The young girl was lovely and great service on the till.

Best spring rolls ever and the pumpkin katsu curry is the only meal I’ve tried here but I’ve had it about 5 times and it’s always been great! The service is good, it’s great to be able to pick up a hot meal so fast (we have started taking it into the cinema lol).

Ate there twice. Sometimes it was good and sometimes it was bad. The prices were also significantly higher the second time and the friendliness was worse.

Look I don’t do the review thing cos it’s all long but I been here a handful of times, portions vary depending on the person serving at the time. However you lot need to define the difference between large and small as earlier this afternoon I was given a box full of rice with about 5 pieces of chicken for a £10a kmt😂

I ordered 3plates of mix and match this night only to be sent spoilt rice.. all 3plates spoilt and I’m a pregnant woman, I better not get sick from this, I’m disgusted only to be refunded 7pounds from Deliveroo after spending 34quid. Ridiculous

Very nice service and food quality however the portions on some of the sides were quite small and expensive considering it's a designed takeout place. The atmosphere is decent but it is overall quite decent. Mains portions are quite good though.

A very poor experience after a brief look up and expecting so much more. Noodles were cold and meat so salty was as if we had waited for a home delivery for an hour. However we ordered fresh in store. Our sides to eat in were cold and served in paper bags and the skewers we had we handed to us from one hand to another and we had to hold them until our main was poorly portioned up. Then asked would you like ketchup on a skewer we were holding. What!! £39 poorly spent in and out without even a Thankyou for your service

The seafood udon sounded good. The seafood was crab stick cut into three. Hilarious

The food was ok and the staff were friendly. Went in just for sushi and in this case it would taste much better if prepared whilst you wait, like Yo Sushi's concept. When it is refrigerated I could have just gone to the supermarket so think there is a missed opportunity here. Also very quiet for a weekend and could do with a way to generate some atmosphere.

Great selection of Japanese and other oriental dishes. Generous portions. Clean and spacious seating. Great addition to Eastleigh high street.

We had a lovely lunch , very fresh and tasty sushi and very good value. Restaurant clean and airy.

Its was borderline ok, had much better on motorway services. Not amenable to change, wanted 50/50 rice and noodles but no, not allowed. Menu shows Katsu curry sauce provided separate but in fact they give it to you in one pot, probably just to fill the pot and even then it was not filled. Chicken quite thin, compared to other places, more breadcrumb than chicken. All that said i did eat it all. Expensive for what you get and for Eastleigh, wont be returning.

Have enjoyed takeaway about a dozen times now. Better when collecting as delivery was slow. Staff are really helpful and welcoming. Particularly enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken, spicy chicken, katsu and koroki.

Good selection of food, great for lunch or takeaway. Staff are nice and helpful when choosing food.

Great little place. Create your own style - pick sauce/main, then rice/noodle and any extras. They do tasty prepacked sushi selections, too.

Get an acute food poisoning after eating a sushi bento here. The conditions and the quality of the fish was both not good enough. Not recommended.

Chicken Katsu curry 😘 Basically a take away joint, but with a handy dine in option (was with my toddler, and most others dining in had children with them too). Personally, I think their hot food options are comparatively better than the cold (sushi) options, but sushi options definitely far better than supermarket fare.

Serve amazing vegetarian katsu curry and rice. Both the pumpkin and tofu ones are delicious. Portion sizes are very generous.

Most ignorant people going. My mate got served then a Chinese person walked in . Got totally ignored for 10 mins whilst they stood there chatting . Will never go back . SHEER IGNORANCE

I love Kokoro in Eastleigh, the team working there are always very polite and efficient and the food is good too.

Food good and fresh, good have a freshly made sushi at the door steps. Various of sushi sets and healthy snacks( wakame salad and edamame’s good they have in store. Pleasantly busy what gives some reinsurance that food freshly cook and rotated . Well done Mr Lee to being breve and open cafe in Eastleigh. Thank you Zara for great service. Compared to Basingstoke kokoro, the portion size is disappointing in Eastleigh. It’s like they are purposely giving you less so they don’t have to keep making it. For the same amount we order in Basingstoke we receive only half the size. Very disappointing. Go to Basingstoke kokoro, their regular size is Eastleigh’s large portion and maybe even more.

This is honestly one of the most amazing places I have ever eaten. We have been countless times, and every first bite into the katsu chicken curry leaves me in a state of awe Just amazing

I love kokoro but this one is the worst one I've been to. Food is always cold and seems unfresh.

Really enjoyed eating here with work colleagues. Had katsu chicken and rice and chicken teriyaki, good portion size and both dishes very nice. Service brilliant. Would recommend

Got a recommendation to go here. Turns out that person knows food! Had the chilli chicken and noodles, chicken gyoza and prawn katsu!

Good value for money, tasty food and helpful staff.

Very nice fresh authentic food but a little spicy for me! Couldn’t finish it and has had me on my knees with a bad stomach all morning 😂 a little overpriced too - We got one pot each and a can of drink and it was over £30!!! The cans were £1.75 which is daylight robbery!

Lovely Katsu Curry & tried some of their sushi which was also very good. Would recommend.

Wonderful place. Food is always hot and freshly made. Staff are welcoming and friendly with always a smile on their face. Portion sizes are very generous. Don't even think about it get some food here immediately!

I have always loved Kokoro and now that Eastleigh has a new branch it makes a great option for a lunch! Katsu, Gyozas and Spicy Chilli Chicken are all good picks!

I'm very proud of my mum and dad organised all kokoro sushi shop in Eastleigh and also very surprised lots of team members of kokoro sushi shop good team work and also I'm glad to see all the customers and I was very satisfying watching customers happy. And I wasn't happy because sometimes some of the time everyday any customers some of them can be aggressive behaviour of customers but even now then I can't treated the customers aggressive to them but and the other day there was some other person given us bad reviews it was ridicules if that kind guy gonna give bad reviews and complain about it then don't come to our kokoro sushi shop then

Great food but very expensive and they refuse to take cash. Not cool, the pandemic is over. Stop pushing the cashless society 👎🏻

Absolutly amazing food and excelent service! This resteraunt has single handely raised the qualty of food in the area and me and the wife will be regular customers for the forseeable future!!!!!

Absolutely lovely little place (: The food is delicious, I've had both the hot food as well as the cold gyoza and sushi available. You get your moneys worth as the portion sizes are very generous, and the staff are kind and welcoming. Definitely continuing to visit as a regular customer x

Fab new place in Eastleigh. Chicken Katsu is full of Chicken they just keep cutting it up and putting it in. Great range of sushi. Something a little different in the local area and it tastes great. Fab value for money and the staff are wonderful. Good luck to everyone involved my taste buds are going you can make it.

Excellent addition to Eastleigh's restaurants with a mix of Korean and Japanese. Had spicy pork which was lovely and the two x spicy symbols meant I shed a quick tear. Vegetable stir-fry and pork gyoza we're excellent, looking forward to sashimi, sushi and kimchi next. Portion sizes were good and the service was informative, would highly recommend.

I ordered for the first time a set meal for two the catsu curry had no sauce. Called to be told I was lying and they had proof. Why would I lie. Food went in the bin as to dry to eat. Won’t be using again

Fantastic place and exactly what Eastleigh needs, good quality sushi and hot food. Very delicious and the staff were lovely and polite. Will certainly be back.. maybe even this week!

Chicken teriyaki was extremely sweet and the only taste coming out of the dish was sweetness , extremely disappointed
