Ko Sing in Wrexham

If I could leave 0 stars I would! Used to be lovely but a £40 order has left me very poorly with food poisoning from here! Never again.

Shame on having to give this a one star .Never had to complain before just this one time .The owner is too stubborn to refund or replace unedible greasy food which wasn’t even a large cost but it’s the principle that counts . but the other staff there are amazing at Ko Sing and the Wrexham eats drivers have been great too..I did ring but it kept being engaged it was near closing time so I rang next day soon as it opened .i only asked for a replacement meal that was under £5 and I still have the greasy food to show you ..never mind you obviously need the money more than me and you don’t care if you lose customers. .im not the first to complain of this owners attitude and she has an excuse for everything ..

Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place .Owner can’t take complaints.. I tried to ring up when I received extremely greasy food but was constantly engaged as it was late at night I rang the next day as soon as they opened and wasn’t even offered a compromise

Ordered a Chinese last night costing me £18.00, food was vile, chips cold and dry, prawn crackers stale, curry way to thick, not impressed at all won't be ordering from there again in a hurry.

Phoned for an order I rang up after 1 hour they said its on its way they lied, won't be ordering again stay clear

Chips were nice and hot, fried rice was lovely, curry tastes nice only let down is the poor quality slimey meat they use come on you charge enough to get decent meat!

Had 6 meals (not just for me) and have no complaints, great Chinese.

Used to be a nice chinese but gone down hill fast last 3 takeaways have been shocking so never again

Best Chinese in area in my opinion. Had So Heung chicken, Singapore Vermicelli, Chicken foo yung, all been very good. Chips were very nice and properly crisped. Cheers 👍

I ordered sweet and sour chicken with specific requests. They acknowledged it and made my food how I asked it to be. No where else has ever done this for me. Very grateful. Food was hot and tasty Thank you!

Ordered our favourite chicken and cashews! Worst food I’ve ever had from there or any Chinese in fact! £25 wasted on jellied chicken in what seemed like cheap gravy! If you’re gonna use instant gravy ko sing atleast use bisto! Even the dogs wouldn’t touch it and they love themselves some gravy! Used to be my go to Chinese but will definitely cross that one off my list! Took for ages too, would have been quicker going first class to China!

If you want to be laughed at & then have the names of everything you've ordered changed just to entertain the children serving you please use

Food was horrible no taste and very watered down, will not order again which is disappointing as only Chinese on here. Best thing was plastic tubs to reuse

I have had it about 3 times in total recently and was really happy with the 2 first times ,tuns of flavor and really enjoyed it would definitely give 10/10 for the first 2 ,but the most recent one was disappointing.

Chicken chow main over cooked, special curry no taste and 2 pieces of chicken 2 prawn and 2 pieces of beef. Delivered to my door and food had spilled over in its bag. I have ordered 3 times from ko sing and all meals have been tasteless

The soup had a cracked tub and made a mess. The chicken tasted good however it was a bit cold.

Absolutely love the food from here, never get a bad meal. Food is always freshly cooked and plenty of it. Definitely recommend here if you like Chinese and especially the salt & pepper ribs yum yum 😋

Very disappointed. Arrived fast, but luke warm! Duck pancakes = duck was soggy, not crispy. However, pancakes and salad were nice!! Beef in black bean should be called green pepper and onions in a strage light brown sauce with a few black beans.... and it consisted of a strange pale extremely chewy meat that i couldnt swallow - gave it to the dog! Ive never seen or tasted a black bean dish like this before! Not to my taste im afraid! The egg fried rice was very greasy. And the meal was luke warm when it arrived I did call to complain and they offered me a replacement, however i felt really put off by then and couldnt face eating anymore, so declined. This used to be my go to place for chinese but i am afraid i wont be going back!

Had a message telling me food was on the way only for it to arrive 40 min later,barely warm but unedible threw it all in the bin,absolute rubbish.

Never had to leave a bad review on just eat but this was awful! Couldn’t even try the duck was under cooked food was only warm. Sweet and sour flavourless. Even the salad garnish with the duck was soggy. Never again! Complete waste of money, not edible.

When I ordered via Just Eat it said delivery 8.20-8.40 but was delivered at 7.30 thankfully. Delivery guy was good. So tasty food delivered promptly with a 😃

Other people may like it but not my cuppa tea at all, thank you for the food tho unfortunately I won't be coming back but appreciate the food ordered today

Recieved the meal today leaking everywhere dumped on door step an hour early, I noticed part of the meal was missing so I called the restaurant who said and I quote "what do you want me to do" well I would like the food I ordered to which I got a response "well that will take another 40 minutes plus delivery" lost a a good few customers from us terrible service

Unfortunately its a poor review. Food was cold Crispy Duck not crispy just did not taste the same. Ordered side veg waterchestnuts and bamboo shoot. No waterchestnuts rather not have it beef tough not a good Chinese at all I never complain but sorry folks today I have will not be using Koh Sing again.

Took two hours for delivery and was wrong order..Sweet & Sour King Prawn was instead nasty tasting prawn toast (I think) and rest of food was bland ..stay clear of this Chinese

Arrived an hour late, called the restaurant who were absolutely no help in telling me where my order was. Ordered a “Special” contained hardly any meat and was replaced with veg. Arrived luke warm, no apologies no offer to refund any money for the delay. Awful place, do not bother

Food was an hour late, driver went to the wrong address. By the time we got it it was cold, and the sauce had been crushed and leaked all over the inside of the bag.

Food is great!! Been eating here for years - But don't get it delivered. Food either takes absolutely forever to arrive (like 2 hours)(I live about a mile away) or they call you up as soon as you've submitted the order, saying that they are too busy to fufill the order - They must only have one delivery driver?

Rang restaurant when 3 minutes late to be told it had left but couldn’t tell me how long ago. Over an hour late and food was cold.

Crispy beef in chili sauce...zero taste. No effort put into cooking something thats payed with good money. Ordered at 7 got it at 9:30. Waste of time and money.

Place clearly can’t read the time. Ordered previously and it came an hour and a half late , we didn’t order from there for a while but thought we would treat ourselves, the food has now arrived an hour and a half early so will have to be reheated! The food was also dumped on the door and the driver left before I could even say a word. Very bad service. EDIT Found two pieces of metal in the duck! Avoid this place!

Charged me for a half a crispy duck with pancakes only gave me a quarter of a duck, wasn't first time they got my order wrong.

Food was unfortunately cold on arrival, this has never happened before, sauce was very runny with duck and ribs, had to microwave everything and my date with girl was ruined as she complained about food and said it was a 4 out of 10 😭

The food quality was good but we were a bit disappointed to find the food wasn’t as hot as it should have been. This is the first time we have ever had any problems.

When you place your order you get an expected delivery time 2 hours away, just be aware. Every time I've ordered from this takeaway it's been really late. This time: ordered at 6:30, given a delivery time of 8:10, called the shop at 8:15 and was told driver was on my road, called back at 8:40 and told driver was 10 mins away, food arrived at 8:50. Food was piping hot so makes me think it was only just cooked. Last time I ordered: waited 3.5 hours, called multiple times and was lied to and told car was round the corner, in the end they cancelled the order on me, after I waited 4.5 hours. The service is shocking so I won't be ordering again. Pity as the food is good and driver was lovely. Lying to customers is just not good service.

Not happy with th standards of food I ordered, to be honest this Chinese should not be cooking Chinese food, nothing tasted nowhere near good enough....!will never order here again!

Beef was too hard, beyond crispy but burned. The prawns were not the same as usual, they didn’t taste fresh. They seemed to be dehydrated.

The food was lovely! But the wait was honestly so disappointing. 3hrs we waited for food which was an hour after the expected delivery time.

Food was nice but 3 hours to be delivered after saying 1.5 hours when I ordered and 3 phone calls to find out where it is, not good service.

Care less attitude all round, food had to be reheated after 25-30m in delivery car. Driver didn't wait to offload food from car until I arrived (like most do) & placed order bag on cold pavement up to 2 min before I arrived at main door of flats. I have some 180 meters to walk to front door, so food was luke warm at best. Neither driver, nor restaurant were concerned about customer service. After reheating, food was at best bland bordering on tasteless.

The chips were cold I seen that the app said food was with driver from 6.40 and arrived here at 7.30 so if that is why chips were cold don’t know but puts you off your meal when something is wrong

30 minutes late, cold, soggy chips and soggy prawn crackers, not very impressed to be honest, even gave specific direct directions and still late

Restaurant said food was delivered at 7pm but nothing came. Phoned up and it was meant to be the next delivery. Ended up coming over an hour late but seemed as if it had been cooked 10 mins before

Food was ordered ans confirmed at 5.30 and estimated to arrive between from 6.55 and 7.15 (which was pretty bad as it was), it then didn't get here until almost 8.30 by which time I wasn't even hungry and apart from the prawn toast and a try of the 'beef' curry (I say 'beef' because it was jellified and nothingike the texture of normal beef) the rest was wasted. I called Ko Sing 12 times, constantly engaged. When I did get through the lady who answered was short with me and said it was out for delivery. I waited another 15-20 mins, still no food, called again several times, still constantly engaged and when I got through again the women was even more short with me! Understand the place is busy but Just Eat should stop them from accepting orders if they are too busy to deliver them in an acceptable time frame. Waiting almost THREE HOURS is totally unacceptable. £30 down the drain.

I ordered our food at 5.30, it finally got delivered at 8.15pm, no apologies, phoned up three time once at 7.15 to be told it was on its way, second time at 7.30 to say it hasn’t left and third time to be told it has just left the shop and arrives 30 mins after that. Both of us had gone past wanting to eat as we were so frustrated. Never again!

This has got to be the worst takeaway. 3.5 hours for the food, arrived cold. Lady on the phone is rude, refuses to help. Food itself was awful.

I regrettably ordered from this Chinese for the second time tonight, the first time was not a great experience and I have since gone else where. However, due to me and my partner being poorly and this being the only Chinese on Just Eat, we thought we would give it a go again 🤦🏻‍♀️ my partners chicken curry, which I asked to come with no onions, had pretty much nothing but onions without about 3 sad looking pieces of chicken. I ordered a special fried rice, which only seemed to contain pork and shrimp...not chicken, beef or prawn 🤔 and to pay almost £5 for salt and pepper chicken wings, to find only 4 small, unflavoured wings in the box was very disappointing. I have since notice that each of their starters state how much you get in a portion, except the salt and pepper wings, no surprise. Furthermore, I ordered 2 cans of coke and received 2 pepsi, I understand that this particualr substitution is something that a plateau of restaurants do, if you're like me and do not like pepsi, it'd be nice to have called and asked whether this substitution was acceptable. Rather than taking my money and giving me 'the next best thing'...don't get me wrong usually I wouldn't be too fussed but the fact is the only thing that wasn't butchered on my order was the sweet and sour sauce, which thankfully made my bland, meatless, vegless rice that slight bit better. Won't be making the same mistake again 👌

Best Chinese food I’ve ever had

Ko Sing is my absolute favourite Chinese restaurant in all of North Wales. Always the first choice. The food is amazing, always warm, very flavourful and they've never got our order wrong. The staff are very friendly and helpful

Very tasty food witn generous portion sizes. Food was hot on arrival which was great. Fast becoming my favourite restaurant!
