prices they charge for the smallest portions of food is ridiculous. almost £4 for a miniscule amount of chips. fish was greasy and soggy as well.

The best chippy in Wigan by a country mile. It just doesn't get any better.

By far the worst chippy I’ve ever had, chips overdone. The southern fried chicken strips were just a chicken burger cut up. Cheesy chips for about £8 portions size was abysmal and the cheese was just cheese slices. It was on time but wish it hadn’t arrived at all.

Really lovely food, best fish we've had!

Portion sizes and food have gone terrible. £11 for a few slices of Donner and a handful of undercooked chips. £3 Tub of gravy came in a small ketchup pot and was useless. £40 for about £10 of food. Just lost a regular customer. 👎🏻

Great chippy and friendly staff

Absolutely ecstatic to find somewhere nearby that finally understands and caters for coeliac! We had gluten free fish, chips and gravy, all were made freshly in front of us and separated from other foods, every single thing had a little gluten free sticker on, including the carrier bags, so nothing could possibly get mixed up! The staff were all really knowledgeable and put our minds at ease. Thank you Kitt Green chippy team - we’ll definitely be seeing you regularly!

What Chippy forgets to include the chips in an order? Wouldn’t order from them again.

I'm coeliac and had an amazing kebab and spam fritter. Very knowledgeable owner and staff. Great food and no reaction from me so clearly coeliac safe

Food was greasy and nearly cold. Burger's were of really low quality and neither finished them as they were not really edible. Spent 40 odd quid and we normally really like this place but for some reason seems to have gone down hill :(

the food arrived early, the chip potions were way to small and we're at best luke warm when they arrived. the salt and pepper sausage wasn't worth the money as it was just a large sausage cut up and battered.

Just ordered online, picked up and massively enjoyed a GF chippy tea. So nice to be afforded such a selection of menu items that are gluten free. Food was excellent. Worth the trek from Preston, will no doubt be back again. Thank You

Had to wait in the shop for 10 mins after collection time. the kebab upset my stomach. The chicken was very dry and it was last bits of kebab meat from the kebab holder. The chips and gravy had been kept in a bag in a warmer when I arrived at the shop and when unwrapped they were all stuck together and cold when I got home which is only a few minutes away.

First visit to kit green Chippy and it definitely won't be the last ,gluten free fish and chips and lots of other GF options, food was amazing, fish delightful, staff friendly and knowledgeable, thank you Kit Green Chippy see you very soon 😊

Placed a huge order on a Monday evening and the staff did a great job at getting so many meals ready quickly while they were all still hot! We even got a free bottle of Pepsi max. Thank you

Went to Kitt Green Chippy Wigan tonight was amazed that they cook Gluten Free Chops , sausage and other food. I was glad to see this. I had chips, sausage and peas. Really nice to eat. I totally recommend this chippy. My husband had Chips, fish , peas and hot Curry which he enjoyed. He is not GF. Just me Susan RIGBY.

Tried the gluten free fish, chips and peas tonight and can not recommend it enough. Everything was fresh and tasty and cooked perfectly. As a coeliac it is great to have a chippy that delivers. Would love to see GF smacks to added to the menu. This will certainly become a regular in our house 😊

Due to staying with my Mum who’s health is not good. I have been to the chippy on a few occasions but got difficult with giving care. Delivery was on time also easy to order and pay. My Mum and I absolutely love our chippy meals…. Would highly recomm

Went as I had seen they have a large range of gluten free food. I had chips, sausage, onion rings and curry sauce! The food was amazing, it was delicious and so good to finally be able to have food from a chippy. The staff were brilliant, so friendly and helpful. Will definitely go again although next time I won't order so much as you get large portions.

Waited over 2 hours for an order of £30~ value. Came late, was stone cold and not edible. The cheesy chips was solid enough to build a wall with and had paper stuck to it. Jacket potato with tuna had gone hard & the salt and pepper chicken has soaked that much grease in to the paper it literally turned the paper in to mush which also was attached to the food. Rang restaurant twice over it to no avail.

Prices gone up and the portions have gone down

Food arrived early and the delivery guy was super friendly. Food was excellent. The fish was enormous - truly more like a whale than a fish. Ate it all up and then proceeded to sleep for the next thousand years. Would definitely order again.

Yet again ordered from here and food missing of the order when phoned got a snotty female on the other end of the phone then she just left the call on pause

A good chip shop serving the people of Kitt Green and Pemberton. Had fish and chips, good freshly fried fish with nice crisp batter, and good chips! You can also get doner kebabs as well here. There are combo meal deals also, together with small fish and chips for seniors. They also use Wigan Eats to deliver internet orders.

shockingly poor. cans of ice cold pop put on top of hot food making it cool it parts and squashing to pulp. Tiniest amount of cheese but lashings of tomato sauce will never order again

Food was cold, dip was wrong, the cheesy chips are chips with grated Red Leicester on top, again cold, nearly £20 would never order again

Really good food and value for money but on this occasion, I could of issues with order gravy and chips sent small when regular ordered. Also missing one small battered sausage when 2 ordered. Only a small issue and usual service top notch.

Chips and curry portions tiny with the tiniest amount of curry almost nonexistent absolutely ridiculous. Not cheap neither. Whole order bland. Ordered for 7 people from work and didn’t hear one good word said about it. Will never go again.

Stood there for 10 mins being ignored while 2 staff were doing online orders . One member of staff then went and served the guy who came in after me even though I told her I was next and she still ignored me. Walked out and took my business elsewhere. Staff need to learn a bit of customer service!

I usually use this chippy a lot but this order is really bad. £3 odd for a large chips and you get very few! Used to get loads. Usually share them out but will have to sort something else out tonight as they contain about 20 chips. Not impressed.

Cracking food delivered deliciously on time, hot and mouth wateringly good. Tried a sharing box (as we had a stampcard discount available) as well as some chips and an apex level battered haggis. More than happy with everything :)

Ordered food for delivery. Part of the order was missing. We phoned and were told it would be on its way but no apology. 2 hours passed so we phoned again getting a snotty response that it can't be delivered without a driver who was in Skem at the time. It never arrived. We now have to follow a process to get a refund online. Food is nice, service and attitude is poor

So I order chips rice and curry and a large sausage to say the least it was dreadful. One mouth full and could eat no more it was hotter than a vindaloo obviously dropped a pot of chillie powder in to go with it.. then when phone she laughs at me and says that how it always been well it not as I have ordered from there previously and on many occasions. If it was edible I would of eaten it as I don’t go out of my way to order food and not touch it to say the least am raging at how unhelpful she was and laughing at me al throw it in your face and see how your eyes feel then you can tell me it edible

Order hasn't arrived. Called the Chippy and said delivery on the way. No actual update or recourse. Ordered at 6:25pm,was marked as delivered at 8:00pm and its now 8:13pm

delivery driver was brilliant, food was good and as a Scottish person, I have tried the haggis at wallgate chippy and it was undercooked, but the haggis from kittgreen chippy the haggis was really good will defo go back for more

We were advised the order was delayed on the app. As we approached the expected delivery time I tried to call the place i ordered from but there was no answer and no call back despite me leaving my details. I was unable to cancel, and no refund (whole or partial) was offered. Very disappointed.
