Once again excellent food was served. Shout out to the new member of staff Kitty who served us. We can’t wait to return soon.

Fantastic food, freshly cooked. We had lamb flatbread absolutely delish, as was the poutine and fries, tempura prawns and lastly katsu curry with chicken. Washed down with a reasonably priced bottle of wine .. can’t wait to go back Great service very attentive thank you asylum

Food was exceptional. Really fresh and tasty. We had the poutine fries, chicken katsu, bao buns and duck sushi. Everything was perfect. Great staff and a nice place to be. Can't wait to return.

We recently booked for dinner at Asylum. Yet again our expectations were surpassed. We have enjoyed the Asylum experience quite regularly over the last 2-3 years and have been joined by friends and family from the far flung places of their bases. Recently a couple dined with us at Asylum who had only just dined at Tattu, Manchester, and they rated the oriental offering at Asylum to be far superior in terms of quality, taste and for value for money. However, we would not stop at just revering that side of the menu as every dish we ever sample has been unrelentingly excellent in all regards. If you are a food 'nut' you will not be disappointed at this establishment. We would also want to commend customer service at Asylum as it has never been anything other than first class. All staff we have had dealings with have been welcoming, extremely pleasant and helpful, sincere and professional. We have see staff members retaining their smile whilst working diligently in the often busy and close confines of their working space. They go out of their way to accommodate and are a significant and critical cog in the Asylum wheel. Top marks to all and everyone who have made our evenings with you pretty damn special.

Been several times before and enjoyed. However feel the need to review after the poor attitude and service we received last night. I booked a table over 3 weeks ago via theor business WhatsApp just for drinks. A message advised they usually do not reserve tables for drinks only but they would this occasion due to us having a friend with a disibility. I agreed and thanked the guy ever so much. I rang a few days before the visit to confirm the booking. I advised if possible we would have food. They advised absolutely. Not a problem and confirmed the table was booked and in the diary. They advised it would be better to arrive 15 mins early as it gives us more time to order and ensures we get food before kitchen closes. I advised fine not a problem and thanked them on the phone. We turned up 20 mins early. Having not eaten all day was looking forward to our meal. Bear in mind the last time us friends went out was 13 months ago. The place was busy without a free table in sight. The standing bar area had a few people around but not busy. I waited to be served. The guy finished serving the gentleman next to me and said please wait a few minutes. I waited and watched him start to wash some glasses and measurements cups. The other staff was serving people in their section of the bar including people who had arrived after me. Anyways the original guy said 'what can i get you' after finishing his washing duty. I said' hi we have a reservation for four people for 'name'' He told me to wait another minute and disappeared at the end of the bar. He came back with a blonde waitress who came out of the bar area and approached us. She said she had tried to call earlier to say they had been busy and they were no longer serving food. I was like oh ok and checked my phone to find a missed WhatsApp call one hour prior to our reservation. Obviously i missed the call but no message was sent or any explanation. She said we were more than welcome to get drinks and that our table was currently being used but the couple were finishing their drinks then leaving and we could sit. I made it very clear in my reservation my friend needed to sit. Hence i followed it up days prior to confirm and double check everything. We agreed to stay for a drink after all we had just gotten lifts to the venue and we didnt really know what else we could do. I turned around to the bar and waited more than 10 minutes to be served. Bear in mind i had already waited about 5mins in the first instance. A lady came in through the main door and stood at the side of me and was served immediately. A guy came in who clearly was a friend of the bar man and got served. Then he disappeared and came back amd served some other person that had arrived after me. Then he said you ok. I advised not really. My 3 friends were stood behind me and one said i dont even wanna stay here now. The 2 people on the table were still not finished and looked like they wernt rushing and wernt at the end of their drinks. We got told we could sit outside of we wanted. In the rain but under a veranda. My friend said absolutely not, lets go somewhere different. I asked for the blonde lady as she was the one who had given all the info regarding food and table wait.. I told her we wernt staying. I was really upset we couldnt sit down. I told her i had been stood at the bar about 15 - 20 mins total and had been ignored and told her that several others had arrived and been served before me. I can appreciate it an accident once but nothing more. Bar staff should be aware its serve customers in the order they arrive at the bar. I said the table wasnt ready and we had been there 20 mins. And i told her i found the service very poor. And was disappointed. I left. I then sent a message practically advising the above and advised i was really disappointed and i got a reply advising i abused the staff. I certainly did not. I didnt swear. I didnt raise my voice. I advised the service was shoddy in them exact words and advised after 20 mins our table wasnt free. And disappointed about the food situation. It was not abusive. It was facts. Maybe hard to hear but the truth. Like i said i have been twice before and enjoyed the food. But i wont go again now. Dont take bookings if you cant stick to them. And once you fail four customers i would personally recommend you go above and beyond to make sure they are seated and served as quickly and politely as possible.

First time visit - really tasty food, great atmosphere and good music for dancing to after hours. Only criticism is I’d like more menu choice but that’s only me ! 100% will be back

Order food Friday night pizza wasn't cooked it was disgusting first time ordering from here in a very long time and manager was rude to me on phone when I tryed to make my complaint won't ever order from here again

Been here many a time for drinks so decided to eat here, why have we waited so long I ask myself! Food was great and tasty, reminded us of street food. Only criticism would be and this is coming from my husband is to heat the plates up before serving so your food stays hotter, thanks in advance. A big shout out to Libby, she helped us out on what to order with it being our first time here. Bottle of wine was nicely priced too. The quality has dropped and due to the high prices they need to be better it gets busy so occasionally there can be a bit of a wait overall it's ok hopefully the refurb will improve quality.

Multiple times my pizza has arrived without the double decadence that I've paid £3.50 extra for. I've rang multiple times yet it keeps happening. Pure laziness on their part.

Good food, friendly staff, can be busy but is to be expected as it is one of the leaders in the market. Parking is atrocious and people driving past could do with being more considerate and aware of the delivery drivers.

Take away burgers 🍔 and fries after a busy week. Great delivery time, burgers were so amazing. Only criticism , fries probably a little over priced as just standard fries. Salt and pepper fries would be a good addition to the menu. Would 100% order again though 👍👍

Been many times and it’s always fabulous, both food and service. Food quality is always high and I held a private function here in May which was simply perfect. Highly recommend.

Was bursting was gonna have a leak at the rear when waiting for my pizza, then l see half a dozen rats near the bins.

We visited for the first time tonight (Saturday). Great bar with lively music and atmosphere. The food is next level. We wanted everything on the menu but settled for sushi, squid, tempura prawns, beef tataki and the pontine fries. Food was amazing. Service was first class. Great value too. We will return.

Walk in order. Just as I walked in, four lads walked in before me. They proceeded to order, and then I ordered. No problem's. We all had out times on the screen. They got there's all good, then some confusion, and it appears only four orders had been cooked, not five. After an appoligie, it would be a further 10 min. I was then told I would be refunded for the 20min wait. Card taken but no refund. Food good.

Every single dish is a smash hit! Went with my wife on Saturday and we are desperate to return ASAP. There is so much variety on the menu. Every dish has tastes to offer that we have never experienced before. It is just amazing. Great selection of beers, my wife loved the cocktails and said she wanted to stay in there all night! Service is also incredible, I never write reviews but felt obliged to on this occasion as 2 days later we are both still thinking about the incredible experience we had at asylum.

Good food and reasonable price if you go for the offers.

Nice bar , poor clientele , door staff have it under control inside , but watch out whilst outside waiting for a taxis . One coked up fella tried to sneak up and blindside me . Saw him positioning to throw a punch , challenged him and he back off . Be aware

First impressions , quirky styled bar , lots going on in way of decor , bmx suspended from the ceiling , if I’m honest it felt a bit more youthful than I’d hoped for . BUT , the food was incredible, we weren’t sure what to go with for 4 of us dining , so the waitress talked us through the menu , nothin too much trouble …. Pork gyozas , lamb and goats cheese flatbread, were the favourites for me , but it was all amazing . Definitely recommend and definitely going back !!

Bad experience with driver, pizza was alright, forgot my large garlic herb sauce, driver said is It that OK?? I said no I paid for that sauce... the cheek. Said he would be straight back with it, 20mins later still not got it. Phoned and asked for a refund, he didn't have any intentions of coming back. Also pizza got cold now so thanks dominos...

One of the drivers tonight didn't bring one of the items. Said he would bring it back and didn't bother at all. Hopefully getting a refund.

We have been twice now and both times have been brilliant. The atmosphere food and service are spot on. Our favourites so far are Tempura sea bass, Gyozas and Seared tuna tacos. However everything on the menu that we have tried has been great. We will definitely plan to go again as the place is unique in a good way and has a food offering that is like nowhere else. Highly recommended.

After my mother visited one Monday there was nothing much to tempt her… plain eater… a staff member went to the nearby cooperative and purchased some tea cakes… which were toasted and served with a pot of tea..she was delighted as that surely is excellent customer service so ..my daughter and I went today for lunch. They don't do cash on delivery anymore so that's annoying and there's cheaper places that do cash on delivery so I wouldn't bother getting a domino's it's over rated

Went as a family of 3 for lunch, everything is cooked fresh to order and expertly presented. We had chicken tacos, katsu chicken, pulled pork and dumplings. Everything was excellent and such nice assortment of salad and veg to accompany each meal.

It's ok. It's dominos. Not the worst, but extremely expensive for what they do. The real issue is that it's surrounded by other pizza places that are both better, and far cheaper.

If you're looking for something different from the usual gastro pub fare, we would highly recommend a visit to Asylum. A really imaginative and varied range of dishes. Everything we had was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. We wil certainly be back soon.

Shocking! Rude staff, the apparent manager hasn't got a clue how to speak to customers. We watched the driver (on the tracker) do a complete lap of standish before coming to my house in Springfield. I called the shop to make sure my food wasnt gonna be cold and to let them know he was going the wrong way only to get "Sam" give me a mouthful of nonsense about hes following the correct route. Driver was a good lad, very pleasant, and he confirmed he went the wrong way. Haha. Food was ok. Luke warm.

Very rarely there’s some mishaps with toppings when ordering for groups, but never anything that drastically changes the experience. Always hot, on time and quality pizzas. Never been disappointed. Good staff and good food. Would recommend.

Waited over 10 minutes at the till to place my order. I counted 13 staff behind the counter but only 1 girl was taking orders!!?? Got home and found I had been given the wrong pizza! Hideously overpriced for average pizza. £16.99 for a Medium Pizza!! Never again!!

Ordered half and half for me and my young son...my son watched the app for 30 minutes...pizza arrived and it was all one and my son will only eat cheese and tomato..I rang straight away that the pizza had been delivered and the man that answered said he would see what he could do and came back on the phone and said he would send another out...so I asked what I should do with the original pizza and he said he would check again and then a woman came on the phone and said NO I can't have a new pizza and that the man was new...even though he had clearly checked with someone she said he hadn't checked with her!!...shocking customer service..had a very upset boy which she heard and wasn't bothered...I will never use again!!
