Kismat Kebab House in Pendle

I ordered kebab and it's taste was very bad and it seemed like it was fried in old oil which they use it again and again to fry different foods, after eating the food I felt nausea and an long with I got soar throat. I'm not gonna buy again now

Ordered kebab with salad and no sauce. Received kebab with no salad and mint sauce. Tasted good regardless (I was hungry) but looks like someone dropped the ball somewhere.

Amazing quick service and the kebabs were very nice. It was our first time. Definitely will be back.

So spicy , biryani was inedible, samosa were bland, pizza was ok

Based on the booming manchester road in nelson comes this amazing take away which serves the pakhtun delicacy of chapli kebabs. I have to admit I enjoyed the chapli kebabs even more than abaseen in manchester. I didnt feel bad after having it and also reccomend the daal it goes so nicely as side dish with fresh naans. Owner was lovely an chatty and the prices are very reasonable would highly reccomend this place if you feel like the peshawari chapli kebab.

The Chapli kebabs have always been spot on from here but never had delivery always picked up,was hungry so thought ill order as it was late to pick up, oh my days I have been up all night with stomach cramps, me and my daughter were the only one's who ate it and she has been on toilet all night, won't be buying again ffs, how can takeouts just hand out food knowing someone's is going to get ill from it, either the meat wasn't fresh or the oil in was made in was really old, as the chapli kebabs were really black, me being hungry I didn't think much of it, thank god I didn't eat it all. Very disappointed 😠 😡

The best chapli kebabs by a long way. It's amazing you see people travelling from Yorkshire and further afield to have the kebabs! Friendly staff, traditional but downside a bit cold as it's a small place with limited seating and the door is constantly opening as they are very busy. Never the less still worth a try, as I travel from Preston!

This time and the last time I ordered from Kismat both orders were delayed by about 45-50mins. The food was ok but the delay in both orders meant that we were eating later than we wanted. Sorry but we will not be ordering from Kismat again.

Best Chapli kebabs from this place.. really juicy kebabs!

Visited recently and ordered a large Chapli Kebab with 2 nan. Have to say the food was prepared very quickly but was fresh and was very tasty. My only gripe is they should give more mint sauce as those little tubs are too small and should be tripled at least in size.

Meat in biryani was so smelly and gross seems to be very cheap quality sheep meat. Their food is always great but this time they compromised on quality of meat.

First time ordering from Kismat in a good 15 years It used to be my number 1 takeaway when I was younger and I can't believe I've not been here for so long after moving away. But now I've moved back and it's just as good as it used to be Amazing place

It's my second time ordered food from kismat nelson, absolutely delicious traditional fresh food

Wasnt keen on Peswari kebab, very strange soft plant based tasting kebab , it could be just my bad choice and not to my taste. Chicken curry with pickles was swimming in grease , tipped over 1/8th of the tubs worth of grease into bin. Very watery garlic sauce. Plenty of food but not impressed with quality , most of it went in the bin.

Kebabs were good as usual. However, chicken tikka was blend taste, cold, dry and undercooked.

Kebabs shinwari anf tarka daal always make our day.

Usually food is good but tonight was very poor. Kebab had hard bits, garlic bread was tasteless, salad was a whole onion chopped up with no lettuce, chips were chewy and tasted like they had been under a heated for ages. Popadoms were soft and red onion was a mash like substance. Curry was extremely oily. Very disappointed and not the usual standard by far.

Very rude customer service. Answered the phone and was rude and just wanted to hang up. I stopped ordering from there. Re ordered after 2 months and took home less than what i paid for. Rang and got told it will get delivered. Waited 1 hr anf got the other half of the order by then my food was cold. Gone down hill. Wont go again.

Awful oily curry that didn't have any flavour. Onion bhajis had good flavour but was very oily. Omlette was good

Their chicken karahi and other dishes are pretty tasty too, pashtoon food is without a doubt the most underrated in the UK.... There needs to be more pashtoon restaurants out here. 5/5 Amazing customer service too. Got given a free portion of chicken pakoras too, very generous people. ✅💥✅💥✅💥✅

Great place to grab a takeaway - the kebabs are second to none. Best kebabs in the north west. They do have seating area but it’s just not for most I would say - everything is cooked fresh right in front of you so you can bet it’ll still be piping hot by the time you get it home.

I order 6 chapali kabab and 3 naan and i wait it almost 45 to 50 mins why they cannot provide online payment option and only deal in cash. No dough taste of Chapali is good same as i taste in pashawar naan quality and taste is good. They should also focuse on time management and provide services in time

A friend recommended this place and we live in Blackburn.I rang at 9:30 to confirm if we come down from Blackburn to eat in,person over the phone treated as he didn’t want us to come at all.warning us in advance that if u come after 10 won’t be able to sit at all even though they close at 11pm…wanted us to order over the phone before we leave although it was over 1st visit and didn’t have a clue what they got in menu so how can we order from home and eat in there.rough attitude,rude behaviour,seems like he is tired of work or serving people…thought rather driving 30 minutes to get to a place where they show no respect to customers,better we stay local in Blackburn where atleast you get some respect and service.its a shame for them that if someone want to come to there place from this far and they loose because of their rudeness.

Over charges don't send family over

Kebabs & naan are freshly made and taste absolutely amazing. The yogurt sauce is spicy however the kebab is not spicy or hot. We had our kebabs in buns with chips and really enjoyed this combo so highly recommended for a change from naan kebab This place has a very limited seating area as not being a restaurant and no high chair available.
